Being less fair, fifa/madden gets (and this is an exeptionally generous use of the word) remastered every year

OP Here, don't get me wrong, but I love this game, at least the original version I do. But the remake just feels off, it ruins what was once there. They didn't even bother to use the same engine, which is still being used on modern consoles.

It might now be 144fps and 4k, HDR and have some other minor objective improvements. At the end of the day it's not a good game, not funny, and a nostalgia cashgrab. 3D platformer with no imaginative level design. But then you'd have to make the claim that the original was any good to begin with. And just because you play a game for 2k hours doesn't make it suddenly well designed. I'll stick to my Mario World romhacks while blinded fanboys start to shill their remakes of Rayman 1 and Spongebob for the Gamecube like they know what good level design equals better than me.

Kaizo is a genre. Feel free to critique my actual argument if you want to actually have a discussion. Assumptions and namecalling doesn't exclude the fact that generalizations based on genres has always been some sort of a logical fallacy. It's something a young child would say while trying to sound sophisticated. You can do better than that.
