Well theres gathering which encompasses mining, woodcutting, butchering, skinning, etc. Processing for refining those materials with different types like heating, drying, and shaking.
Theres fishing which is a nice for some passive income while AFKing. But you can also get your own boat and look for hotspots in the ocean to get large amounts of more valuable fish.
Cooking and alchemy is the main thing all your gathering and processing goes towards and makes food and potions that give you buffs but are mainly just sold in bulk for fat stacks.
Training involves breaking and leveling wild horses and breeding them up the 8 tiers which get exponentially more valuable on the player market the higher you go.
Trading and bartering involve buying a bunch of shit from one NPC low and traveling to another one to sell it high, difference between the two is trading is on land and bartering is in the ocean.
Along with bartering is sailing which helps you navigate the winds and currents in the ocean better and ties into the combat side of the ocean where you fight sea monsters and other players ships with cannons and shit.
Last and very much least is hunting which almost nobody does because theres no money to be made doing it but it is there if you like the idea of hunting down increasingly dangerous animals with a musket I guess.
Also this one doesn't really count but a couple weeks ago they added a music "skill" that lets you compose share and play music and the higher your skill the more bars and notes you can put in your composition, I love this kind of shit in games so I figured I'd give it a mention and share a webm of it.
