I finished zero 3 a couple of weeks ago and I have some questions:

>How exactly did the elf wars go about? The mother elf stopped the maverick wars and brought reploids to their senses, but she got corrupted into the dark elf to…make reploids go crazy again and fight with cyber elves this time? I feel like I'm missing something here.

>So because of the energy crisis, reploids were discriminated against. Why? I guess because humans were lazy pieces of shit and demanded more energy, so Copy X forced reploids into hard labor and punished anyone who had a problem with it?

Even though I haven't played zero 4 yet, I'll start:

Did they remove the elemental chips in 4? I remember the emphasis being on the Z-KNUCKLE to use enemy attacks for elemental damage, especially on hard

Copy X is a perfect copy of X bodily but he doesn't share the original's personality, nor does he have X's years of experience. To Copy X, the most obvious way to keep humanity alive through an energy crisis is to prioritize them and tell reploids to go fuck themselves if they're not humanity's slaves. Anyone who had a problem with that was deemed a Maverick. The people of Neo Arcadia never knew that the original X had sacrificed himself to seal away the Dark Elf so they think Copy X is the original X. And if X favors them over reploids, who among humanity's going to complain?

You missed Weil being a dick. He got exiled because he provoked the Elf Wars by corrupting the Mother Elf. The game explains that in the later missions.

hard to say if 4 or 2 is better. If we go for the "4 is a downgrade" meme you could say that 2 is better but I find the visuals and graphics really interesting and fun in 4. It feels more "modern" and new.

the one that gives you jumping slash and faster charging in z3, otherwise double health is the best

no idea, hard to say. Anything that doesn't annoy me and fair to play. Leviathan and Fefhnir maybe? They are kinda easy to defeat anyway. I also love Childre Inarabitta (small blue ice kid from z3) because he looks funny

idk, didnt try remixed ones. Compared to zx, z3 version feels more silent but the silence makes it feel heavier, especially the piano version. From all those over the top musics, a simple and clean piano gives you a serious vibe.

It's a shame most anons didn't play zero series earlier. Also make sure to use the checkpoint thingie from legacy collection. It makes those games a lot less tedious and annoying. I want to hear your reaction from ZX series. If it had at least one more game, I would love that series more than Zero. ZXA is also top notch in terms of gameplay, don't forget that. Best mega waifu pic unrelated for now
