Blair Witch honestly is one of the few settings where a procedurally-generated environment would actually be plausible, given that the witch is heavily implied to fuck with your environment (or at least your perception) once you're under her influence.
I could kind of imagine it as being stuck in a relatively safe central area, but the further away you get from it, the more the ominous signs (such as the stick figures) and the chance for the witch to actually attack you increase. So you'd hush into these danger zones, get whatever you need to craft yourself a magical charm of "Not Getting Raped" and hush back to the center area for the witch to calm down.

The sad thing is, in a way it sort of retroactively ruined Until Dawn. I feel like every good thing about that game was done on accident and in spite of the developer. Where as Until Dawn seemed to flip horror movie archetypes on their head in interesting ways, Man of Medan was the most painfully generic shit I’ve ever seen and within the first 10 minutes all I could think was “oh God, I hope it’s not some stupid bioweapon making them see this shit.”
Also, Until Dawn has likable characters, Man of Medan and their new game just seems like they went down a checklist from a GDC.

Probably because it's actually shit. It might not have flopped but I'd say it was one of the most overrated games of the year. It seems to have had a pretty intense guerrilla marketing campaign, and by the time it came out /v/ threads were swarming with paid shills or astroturfers posing as fanboys, who'd attack anyone who'd say anything bad about it. I even remember I pretty much ousted one of them as being one of the devs when I got into an argument with them.
Too bad I suffer the same problem as >>16886866 when it comes to shit and forgettable games, so I don't even remember much about why I disliked it or what I argued about in those threads.

It looks like there is no getting rid of Ninja Theory, since they're clearly are good at giving normal fags what they want.
The upsides, NT being owned by Microsoft makes it even more unlikely DmC 2 will ever happen, since it probably wound't be aloud on PlayStation, and I can at least laugh this Bleeding edge Shit is already more successful then Lawbreakers AND Battleborn.
I deal with Ninja Theory being successful if it means Randy and Cliffy are seen as even more pathetic.
