Any videogame about superheroes that you personally like?

Are there any games that have a similar style to Ultimate Spiderman?

What would be your ideal superheroe game?

What doth life?

Also in spite of their flaws the Arkham games are a guilty pleasure of mine, even if I can spend the next 30 minutes shitting on Arkham Knight I still look back on it somewhat fondly.

Oh yeah speaking of transformers there's a PS2 game I vaguely remember, you had like Mini-cons who were tiny robots who gave you powers or weapons or whathaveyou, and you could slot four of them at a time and one mini-con was a glider that was introduced in a level where you had to do a glide onto a flying ship or something. It was a neat game because it had a fair bit of ragdoll physics.

>How are the Infamous games? I used to really like the Sly Cooper games.

They're alright. They're mostly open world shooters that give you more agility than most. InFamous 1 is alright, but 2 is such a step up that it makes 1 look like a tech demo. Second Son isn't as good as 2, mostly because it's too short, but it's still pretty good. First Light was basically standalone DLC for Second Son, but it's pretty good. If you like Second Son, this is basically more of it, even though you don't have as many powers.

>Also in spite of their flaws the Arkham games are a guilty pleasure of mine, even if I can spend the next 30 minutes shitting on Arkham Knight I still look back on it somewhat fondly.

All of the Arkham games are awesome and the hate seems to largely come from all the others that imitated them badly, and bad PC ports. A bad port doesn't make a game bad. You couldn't call Pac-Man bad just because its 2600 port is bad.

I wish there was a good Superman game that made you feel like Superman. It's tough to give enough freedom to really do that though. I don't always like open worlds, but I do think it would be necessary here, to make use of your flight and speed. Destructible buildings seem necessary, too, even though Superman wouldn't normally do that. The "VR world" idea from Superman 64 could actually be a good justification for things like no civilians to kill, and respawning buildings, but I don't think they would ever have the nerve to use that one again.

I remember loving Batman: Vengeance when I was younger but it's pretty rough around the edges looking at it nowadays, if your a fan of Batman the Animatied series it's still worth looking into since it's based on the later season where the changed the art style, so chapters are built like an episodes of the show.

I just think the game visually is great, more then how it plays.

It's just difficult to hate the game for long when so much effort and care has been put into the game even if the combat system isn't made for someone like me.

Fuck the riddler trophies though, that's the utter worst part of any of these games especially when 95% of them are just lying in the open instead of having a puzzle tied to them.

I also vaguely remember the batman begins game because my analog buttons where fucked and I couldn't get past the tutorial that required an L3 for stealthing until I got another one. It's neat but considering how it didn't stick with me unlike other PS2 games I'm not sure how good or bad it was.

City of Heroes was pretty neat, as was Freedom Force. These days most superhero games are lame, they don't let you make your own hero and you don't even get licked by Venom. Just make more games where I can make big arsed heroines in spandex that beats up evil villains ffs.

In the way of licensed characters I'd like a decent Captain America game with decent acrobatics and shield tossing. Or a Nick Fury game, though that'd turn into some degree of standard TPS before long, albeit with creative level design.

For lesser-knowns, how about Fire & Ice?

In the way of impossible to pull off correctly licenses, Green Lantern doing anything whatsoever.

It sucks how sexy heroines is a big no-no nowadays. People keep jerking themselves off on the black widow and wonder woman actresses but the former looks fairly plain for a redhead and I cannot for the life of me find the latter attractive. And then you have Starfire being played by a relatively attractive nigger who was dressed up in the most repulsing fucking clothing and makeup possible, or Huntress and Black Canary being played by non-descript mystery meats(one of them I think is the giant lol I'm a woke nerd thundercunt who is supposed to be MJ in the MCU) and cassandra cain being a fat filipino.

Well in that case if it's like Timeshift / Lost Planet 2 you can try >>16852431 / disabling cores in the BIOS but that has the drawback of disabling your extra cores for everything.

What you can try though is using SpecialK (10.X and up) yes I know it's cuckdaien shitware but you don't need steam or the legit version and it's free and FOSS so no nasty surprises to spoof the number of cores, it works in some cases where affinity doesn't but without all the drawbacks of actually disabling cores.

The only comic book game I can say I truly loved was Spider-Man 2 (the McGuire tie in). Just because the city was so huge and we hadn't had proper web slinging until that point. It was a fun mechanic in a decent replica of NYC. I'm sure it's probably been improved on, but I don't have a desire to play it again.

I can't say I really care to live out other superhero powers.

Superman

>huge open world Metropolis, which can be padded with large country area that includes Smallville. This is necessary to allow you to make proper use of speed and flight. You'd still have to make the player somewhat "slow," (as far as Superman goes) but just do some effects to make it feel fast, like Modern Sonic, and it can work.

>Brainiac bottles the city/playable area, justifying limits to where you can go, because otherwise it would feel like bullshit when you can't fly around the whole earth

>Brainiac also put all the civilians (except for a few important NPCs who escaped) in stasis, but has let certain villains out to be the generals of his robot army or whatever. And/or Luthor has figured out how to escape and recruited other villains as generals in his robot army, which fights Brainiac's, but they both fight you. So almost everyone in the city is a robot, just like how the arkham games always try to justify no civilians being around, so you can beat up almost everyone.

>Brainiac tech rebuilds destructible buildings, which are only full of robots anyway (except for main bad guy bases which are reinforced), so it's okay to let you destroy buildings, which is pretty essential to make you feel as strong as Superman.

>smaller levels can include other cities Brainiac has bottled, such as Kandor, or places from other DC planets. Can have levels in Brainiac's ship (maybe you're still shrunken) and Phantom Zone boss fights

>Or a space bounty hunter game starring Lobo.

>Metroid game starring Lobo

>In the way of impossible to pull off correctly licenses, Green Lantern doing anything whatsoever.

>at the beginning of the game, he gets hit on the head and gets brain damage, so he can't use his full imagination to do stuff

>the ring slowly heals his brain, giving him "ideas" (powers) but it requires energy you get from doing missions

Hal gets hit on the head and forgets his identity all the damn time. Guy got hit on the head and was in a coma for like a decade, and when he came out his brain damage gave him a different personality. Good excuse to limit their powers at the beginning of the game.

A lot of my favorite Superman stories are like that. But there are also a ton of Superman stories that are just crazy sci-fi shit. We're talking about video games. Gameplay comes before story. I want to use a story to justify gameplay in a way that best allows you to feel like you're playing as Superman.

Having a large area full of supervillain bosses and robot mooks allows you to utilize speed, strength, and flight, which are otherwise hard to do well. It's a big mistake casuals make to think Superman is "invincible." He's not. His stories are either him fighting smart guys who make his strength useless, or simply fighting other guys on his level of strength. So fine, Brainiac and Luthor can make robots with Superman level strength. Or you can say there are escaped Phantom Zone criminals, or somebody hired a Thanagarian army, or whatever else you want. But if you don't feel like you have Superman's powers, then the entire game is moot.

Some missions could include moral dilemmas, but do you trust modern video games to do that well? Do you trust modern writers to do that well? Of course, a Brainiac story lends itself to utilizing the Kandor story. Superman finds that Brainiac also has a city from Krypton bottled, and has to choose between that or Metropolis. Of course he picks Metropolis, but takes the bottled Kandor with him, and then tries for like 50 years before they finally did a story where he managed to un-shrink it. It didn't work out well. It was a better plot point when it was just his one failure that he always tried to correct.

Anyway, you could have two endings based on the choice of saving either Metropolis or Kandor, I suppose. If they did any sequel, of course the Metropolis ending would be canon. You could also use that to introduce Supergirl (in either this game, or a sequel). She's usually from a different Kryptonian city that somehow survived, called Argo, but fuck it, Kandor is easier.

There is that one game where there is a destruction meter, instead of a health meter, that you have to keep low. That sounds cool and everything, but frankly, just throw some robots and aliens at me. Don't overthink this. They could use a destruction meter in addition to a health meter. Especially in individual missions.

Also, I suppose they could say Star Labs has robots that rebuild the city, and can be allies in fights. Or say Luthor is the one doing it. And the whole time you know he's evil, and his robots try to kill you in addition to rebuilding the buildings. And the more destruction you cause, the more you're helping raise Luthor's reputation, which would… give him money from the government contracts that then make his robots more powerful when you have to fight them?

No reason Zod couldn't be in it, unless the game had enough villains that someone felt like saving him for a sequel.

I don't see the point of a game without challenge. People who don't actually read (or watch) Superman stories think he's never physically challenged, but that's not the case. A lot of his best stories are very intellectual and philosophical, but those obviously would not be the basis for a video game. Try to include some of those elements if you can, but the core is just crazy sci-fi where a really strong guy fights really strong robots and aliens. Luthor is a smart guy, and the point is that it's brains vs brawn, so really Superman can't use strength to fight him, and has to find ways to outwit the smartest man on Earth, in contests that make his strength pointless. Of course, a great many Luthor stories still come down to Luthor putting on power armor and having a fistfight with Superman, and there's no reason not to do that in a video game.

As much shit as the Arkham games get around here, use them as a base. Though I'm thinking the map would be something more like San Andreas or GTAV. Empty space (countryside) to pad it is kind of bullshit sometimes, but it might help to allow you to make greater use of speed and flight. Use a story, like Arkham does, that removes most civilians and adds more henchmen, because that's what makes for good gameplay.

Just because Superman is hella strong doesn't mean you have to feel weak just because there are others that are also strong. That's why I say destructible environments and buildings would be very helpful. They make you feel strong. Plus, Superman wouldn't look as retarded when he jumps 50 feet across a room to punch a bad guy, like Batman does.

Ghostrider has potential for a cuhraazy game with vehicular combat gimmick where you can transform other vehicles into their demonic versions. You could also go weird-west cowboy FPS with the original ghost rider. There is pants-on-head retarded space and cyperpunk angle too with Cosmic Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider 2099.

Booster Gold is another great character for a cuhraazy game full of comedy. He is a guy from future who traveled to the present day. He exploits futuristic tech and knowledge of events to become a famous super hero. Justification for being as flashy as possible is basically built in.

I think the danger with Superman isn't being OP, but the same as in other games, where you can't have superheroes beating up civillians, unless you do a morality system like InFamous or something. So you gotta get rid of the civilians and replace them with enemies. All superheroes fight enemies on their own level, and those are the enemies you'd put in their game.

That said, sure, have some magic enemies. The Scarecrow levels from Arkham could easily be done with Mxyzptlk instead.

Also, a Twisted Metal style game that was just plain Ghost Rider instead of Mr. Grimm would be cool. Twisted Metal full on ripped off Ghost Rider in the first place.

It's basically a more SJW Spider-Man 2. So yeah, gameplay-wise, it's fine, except for when they force you to play as people who aren't Spider-Man, who don't even have powers. And there were already many games that copied Spider-Man 2 that people just ignore for some reason. Even Spider-Man 3. I saw people hating on that at the time, but I loved it. Had a playable Green Goblin with his own controls and everything. Not as good as the playable Green Goblin in Spider-Man 1, but still really cool. I'd recommend Spider-Man 3 over Spider-Man PS4.

Spider-Man 3's New goblin for more then just the final level was DLC if you didn't buy the "deluxe version" That left a really bad taste in my mouth for years, considering Spider-Man 1 and ultimate Spider-man, gave you two playable characters for no extra cost. Maybe I'll get around to actually playing as New Goblin some day, but in comparison to Ultimate Spider-Man being the game right before it Spider-Man 3 didn't really have anything going for it beyond the hilarious QTE failures, it might be a decent game, but the majority of other Spider-Man games are all better. so Spider-Man 3 stuck out when it wasn't as good as the others from that time.

Oh yeah I somehow forgot Ultimate Spider-Man, despite it being in the OP. Obviously I should have mentioned that. But my point was that even if we're just looking at open world Spider-Man games, I'll take 3 over PS4. People keep acting excited that each new Spider-Man game brings back open world webs that attach to buildings, but there are a ton of those that people don't even look at.

Also, the three Spider-Man games before Spider-Man 2 are all great linear Spider-Man games that get overlooked now because they're linear. And people especially ignore Spider-Man: The Movie: The Game because it's not Spider-Man 2, but also they don't realize that mechanically it's basically a sequel to Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 from the previous generation of consoles.

People ignore every game that isn't Spider-Man 2 because Spider-Man 2 was ground breaking and no other game did what it did at the time, the problem is that while Spider-Man 2 was rightfully praised for it's web swinging, people convincingly forget that aside from that, pretty much everything else in Spider-Man 2 isn't all that great, or at least every other game offered better over all content. The linear Spider-Man games before it had better stories and levels, Ultimate Spider-Man had playable Venom. Web of Shadows has the best combat system in a Spider-Man game, and lets you get to a point where you can swing so fast the game can keep up even on PC.

Normal fags only remember the webs actually sticking to buildings and that's the only thing that matters.

Tbh the batman games had a very boring combat system, that PS1 Spider-man game had more going on with combos and being able to cover your fists in web and shoot it in different ways. It makes sense in those games since Batman doesn't have any superpowers, you just knock people out and use detective gadgets. But proper superhero games need much more than that, the player should be a bit overpowered when it comes to mooks and the powers should be useful and not just a gimmick.

Sadly very few games do anything with it, the only real standout is the Spider-man games and their web swinging. I wish we'd get more games that focused on actually making gameplay use of the powers.

Came out last august or something along with best cop game on Switch. It has its kinks, namely the extreme numbers shit that is prevelent on any Diablo-like ever, especially the much-higher quality "clones" Raven Software has done over the years, with one unfortunate ommision being the lack of unique tag ultimate attacks and an annoying stun meter but the game is almost two times faster, has the ability for KURRRAAAZHHEEE combos and insta-switching, ability customization to an extend, team skill tree and actually unique combos for each character that do have differencesnot huge but there is a difference between playing Spider-man and Ghost Rider for example, even if they both have 4 hit combo attacks and a heavy attack that uses a long-range weapon and depending on how much you know nip hornyness, you get nice costumes and plenty of X-Men :

It might just be that I've never been a huge fan of beat em ups, but I'm one of the people who prefers bamham combat over the types of combat seen in things like most Spider-Man games, for example. All those games have tons of combos and such, but there is very little point to learning all of them. It's not a fighting game. Batman's combat has a lower skill ceiling, I suppose, but practically no game ever actually challenges you to reach the higher skill ceiling you get with a more traditional beat-em-up combat system. In both games, you end up mashing the same relatively simple combos every time. But Batman at least has the rhythm thing going for it, and it does at least have extra challenges and a points system which encourage you to use all the combos you do have. Maybe other games with more traditional combo systems have that too, but I forget. Batman has just enough combos that it's realistic to use them all in a larger fight, too.

Batman games and Spider-Man games both have similar types of gadgets and power ups and such. You mention Spider-Man's webs, but they function almost identically to Batman's batarangs. Those bits are kinda cool in both games/series. Though I agree more could be done with them.

Batman almost goes too far with his gadgets and powers. The grappling hook and cape are so OP that you almost feel like Spider-Man, and the Detective Vision is so OP that you basically feel like Superman. Not to mention the way he does 50 foot leaps back and forth across a room to punch bad guys. Spider-Man has a great set of powers for video games. Him leaping 50 feet back and forth across a room makes perfect sense. His gadgets are also about on par with Batman's, as far as the comics go. He's powerful and dynamic enough to make for really fun gameplay, whereas Batman has to reach a bit for things that are a bit beyond his usual skill set.

The DLCs are character packs of 4 like the Fantastic Four, the Marvel Knights(Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius and motherfucking Punisher) and one free DLC IIRC was Colossus and Cyclops that Marvel didn't want in the game but the nips started sharpening their katanas at their offices trying to go full Hayao Miyazaki on Yidsney if they dared not include the X-Men. C&C weren't cut from the story but from release due to time constraints. The farming does become tedious a lot of the time and it doesn't help that nips have a very clear way of showing who they give fucks about when it comes to costumes with the alternates, like Cap's original costume and alt have very little difference while Marvel has her Carl Manvers costume and her iconic one. At least they have an entire tree of universal updates in the characters and so far, I don't think there's a single character that doesn't synergize in a team in a ny single way, unlike with MUA2.

I just wish all the DLC was already in the game, even if they have almost nothing to do in the story, who gives a fuck. It's the Avengers vs the fucking Thanos gang in the most anime way possible, throw them in there. Some tweaking here and there, some XP management, perhaps less Diablo-shit when it comes to mission rewards like with those ISO shit and instead either have them upgradeable with money or some shit just give duplicates but they are all OP as fuck, give the promised fight against Galactus and I wouldn't mind a sequel by TN. Even if they don't add new characters and just keep everyone in, including the DLC ones but add on top of their existing movesets some tweaked attacks that can be somewhat Musou'd(like Square -> Square -> Triangle, you know) for some, make the fairly tame double special skill into something a bit more bombastic like the team ultimate attacks from MUA2 and you got a worthy sequel.

This doesn't look particularly bad actually. I never knew an Ultimate alliance 3 was ever in development, let alone release though.

Vaguely related, but how shit will that Avengers game be? Every video I happen to catch a glance of turns out to be one of the most pathetically scripted jokes I've ever seen in a game, and this is from someone who hated most of the Arkham bosses for that same reason.

If you like 1 and 2 on PS1, then play Spider-Man 1 on PS2, since really it's the third in that trilogy, gameplay-wise. Spider-Man 2 on PS2 is really the start of a new one, although it's not such a jarring change since a lot does carry over. But the open world does change things a lot.

It came out of left field during a Nintendo Direct in E3, since the publishing rights are fully within Nintendo this time, surprisingly.

>Abengers gaem

Oh man…it's quite something. Imagine the blandest, safest, most meh action game ever, with the simplest controls and combos and a one-button "PRESS F TO AWESOME" thingie for specials and supers andno challenge at all, while you have Diablo 3 levels of ebin loot and stat shit along with equipment that changes your character so if you want your Iron Man to look like the motherfucking 90s? Too bad, grind ad infinitum until shitty orange-tier loot drops and you have an underwhelming costume. And you gotta unlock each character individually via gacha in a mission like that Marvel MMO Diablo clone bro, don't you love character gachas? Oh and you gotta level them up individually and are always online. Fun for all the family.

It being a live service game with a "living ecosystem and expanding story" which may as well be code for mictrotransactions, WoW-tier story that changes the game every 2 years for maximum retardation, daily missions and a fucking STAMINA METER as if it is a mobile game .It is coming out on Stadia so maybe it is a kuso-mobage Overall, avoid like the fucking plague, it smells like one of those Destiny 2 situations, where the dev is far more moneyhungry and jewish than the publisher they are working for. Right out of the gate, their kung-jew is strong enough to contend with Zenimax's and their champion, Todd.

Oh and the main character is of course Miss Muslim with fucking ugly graphics that have no charm but for cinematic moments that go for maximum manchild drama because

>MUH SERIOUS SUPERHERO MOBIES GUIZ

>MCU IS A NEW RELIGION GAIZ

and other such shit instead of doing something creative like having Iron Man building mechas to fight Galactus, Ghost Rider and Wolverine riding their Harleys on the sunset while drinking beers and killing demons or having Miss Marvel be a brown grill mahou shoujo Monkey D Luffy with Captain Marvel being her PreCure mentor or some shit.

Absolutely, dubsman. I'm not big on Ultimate personally but there's a reason many like it though I'd definitely start with Shattered Dimensions since it's like a love letter to the PS1 games except instead of modifiiers you have actual characters with enough differences like symbiote Spidey having a rage mode, Noir Spidey being mainly Metal Geat Spider etc.

>>16854234

Sounds close to the PS4 Spider-man game that came out. Which is a less janky version of the Amazing games on the PS360 that sought to capitalize on Bamham's Arkham combat but Beenox didn't have any time at all with them so the animations and wacky leaps weren't a thing in there.

>Any videogame about superheroes that you personally like?

I like the first bamham game, city is supposedly superior but i liked the asylum setting better (open world with tons of collectibles frustrates me to no end, picking up the trophies in asylum was great because they were hidden in the scenery or locked behind actual puzzles, unlike city which just has them lying in the middle of the street) and all the nods to TAS were great, paul dini wrote the script and most actors from the cartoon reprise their roles, even though they are old as shit.

>Are there any games that have a similar style to Ultimate Spiderman?

Spider-man 2 (emulate the PS2 version, PC got an extremely shitty port made by a different studio), spider-man 3, web of shadows and marvel's spider-man all play more or less the same, with the only differences being the swinging (ultimate and marvel's let you fuck around in the air if you press buttons) and the combat (2, 3 and ultimate play like generic 3D beat em ups, web of shadow's combat has a lot more variety and spidey can take a shit ton of damage, marvel's is even better if you actually make use of the mechanics, but spidey can't take more than two hits before keeling over dead, at least on ultimate difficulty).

>What would be your ideal superheroe game?

Not a western franchise and not sure if they even count, but i'd kill for a precure game that isn't a minigame collection or a turn based RPG, i'd even take a mediocre musou/smash rip-off, sadly we'll never get anything like that because precure is a long running anime series made for 8 year old japanese girls (who like playing with the toys) and 40 year old male otaku (who like ejaculating on the figurines), neither of which like violence.

Also i bought marvel's spider-man about a week ago and it honestly isn't as bad as i thought it'd be, the combat is great and the swinging is decent, but the mj and nigger-man stealth sections completely kill the game. Not sure if it's the art style or insomniac being incompetent, but everyone looks hideous (ugly, huge eyes and mouth, crooked nose, uneven teeth), this makes sense on the villains, ock for example is a short balding fat man, but why in the fuck is mj (notorious for being a hot redhead slut in the comics) a hideous goblina with a receding hairline and rectangle shaped body? Don't even get me started on bogdanoff cat. The city looks pretty though, and all the costumes (all of which are unlockable, no paid DLC shit) are great, you can even get the fucking raimi suit and wear it throughout the entire game, and this game's rendition of the scarlet spider is the best we've gotten yet. I haven't beaten the game yet just did the ryker's mission and got my shit slapped by """the sinister six""", who now include scorpion, rhino and some monochrome chink but it's been a solid 7/10 so far, i just wish they did away with all the smartphone/social media shit. At least the fisk/demon/prisoner hideouts are much, much better than bamham knight's watch towers/checkpoints, but that may be due to spider-man being a lot more agile and less limited in what it can do, batman can't juggle thugs in the air, kick them off a building, stick them to the ceiling or send their projectiles back.

It was made to be canon at first, but like a lot of spinoff comics, they simply didn't reference it that much. Then later they did a comic arc that adapted it directly, so that arc supplanted the game itself in the canon.

However, we can at least still say that the comics are canon to the game. And just think about how deep the comics are. The Ultimate Universe eventually got so deep it defeated its own point of being an easier jumping on point for new comics readers, and even when Ultimate Spider-Man: The Game came out, that was still starting to happen. But even at that point, they were already starting to cross over with other universes, joining the Marvel Multiverse. The Ultimate Universe spawned Marvel Zombies, which has crossed over with other universes as well, including the main universe, Earth-616.

Now we all know Earth-616 is the home of Spider-Man, The Avengers, The X-Men, The Fantastic Four, and many more. What many people don't realize is that that universe also includes things like Godzilla (Showa-era Godzilla universe, which itself includes many non-Godzilla films, such as Rodan, Mothra, Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas, etc.), G.I. Joe (the comics, which are still going on today with the original writer), Transformers (G1 and G2 comics + G1 movie + Beast Wars/Beast Machines cartoons), and Doctor Who. So all of these are canon to the Ultimate Spider-Man video game. Ultimate Spider-Man has the deepest lore of any game ever.

National socialist, please. The point here is that either devs serve the international market or they serve the people, they can't do both. So if bugmen says no skeletons or ghosts then that's what goes. They on the other side won't allow their devs or even market to include homo propaganda or games pozzed in ways their government doesn't approve of.

It's really simple stuff, so I don't get why people are mad at companies for trying to maximise profit without giving a shit about quality or even their home market. That's what they do given the opportunity, go where the money is in more ways than one. Likewise, if you let your national companies more all industry to the third world they will. Because it's cheaper. If they aren't bound to your country they will also relocate to a country where they pay less taxes. If they can they will bribe your politicians to import even cheaper labour, but they won't move back industry. Instead it will be used to build their mansions and as housemaids, or if complete lumpenproles, just as a new consumer base driven by gibs to increase profits but not production.

Basically, if you want something else than shitty phone games, grindy MMOs and chink propaganda then you need to force companies to cater to you instead of bugmen. Nationalisation is a way to accomplish that, I don't see how else you could. Economic freedom means that companies are free to do what's the most profitable for them no matter the consequences. Who cares if the audience back home doesn't like it? What, you don't have phones?

How? I dont know where you live but my government would just make safe mobile shit or multi cultural propaganda. most countries it would just be like tencent in china.

Better solution is to just ignore mobile shit and support devs making actually good stuff.

If I was a superhero, I would have the following superpowers:

>super strength - punch through walls, hold up people by the neck with one arm and all that

>wings - huge wings, which fill out an entire room and give everyone a mouth full of feathers, enable flight, but I can also hover without flapping

>super durability - I can roll myself into a ball and drop kilometres from the sky and strike the Earth like a meteor without it hurting me, when I use my wings as a buffer

>regeneration - no one is going to cuck me by damaging my wings and make me retire early

>enhanced speed, stamina, senses - standard superhero stuff

>immunity to poison, disease and corona

>can survive in hazardous enviroments and in space - so I can travel to other planets

>eternal youth - I always pick this in cyoas

I would not "be" an actual superhero. I would just have the powers of one. I would basically live in the Earth we live in right now. No high fantasy/sci-fi comic world shit. I would fly all around the world, drop my right-wing nationalist beliefs, not say anything racist in public and also not comment on religion to not start any conflict.

I would just travel the world, look at architecture, meet different people, maybe learn to fight with a sword from one, weapons training from another, hang out with youtubers who do urban exploration and do videos with them.

If anyone asked me about, why they think I was put on this earth, I would say that I don't know anything about my time with an entity you can call God, except that he has put me on this Earth, but right now has given me years to first familiarise myself with it, before I do anything drastic.

PS: My wings would be at least 3 times as big as this picture, if I extended them fully. I want wings, which would realistically make me able to fly.

I imagine super durability, regeneration and being able to survive in space and not needing air, would take care of that.

I still want to look like a human. I actually want to look like myself, but just an ideal version of me. Because I don't think I would be that ugly, if I wasn't skinnyfat, because my face would be much sharper.

>highest-tier realtiy warping possible

You realise that according to the rules of cyoas, you would have to take some drawbacks for that? Either you'd have to roll and have a 50& chance to get thrown into prison by a God or be extremely hedonistic or otherwise detached and just fuck your favourite sexual fantasy all day, because letting you have these powers without distractions would be too op.

Clearly this hasn't worked since this is what has lead to the current state of gaming. Of course I wouldn't entrust my own current government with anything, but if it was exchanged for a good one then they should not only support local industries but make sure they grow local talent and produce quality works. As the "free" neoliberal market has failed and didn't produce the best possible results as advertised.

Back in my high school I had a spanish teacher who REALLY liked Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman - She had several posters on her side of the room, bobbleheads, a few comic books I didn't recognize laminated and her tiara. I asked her about it and she said it's because she watched it as a little girl and loved it. Didn't help she looked like a Spanish Lynda Carter

Frankly, if you're trying to do things that are actually like the comics from any era, a lot of it wouldn't even be action, it would have to be some sort of mystery solving game. People compare things like Superman and Dragon Ball Z, but there's a big difference. Dragon Ball Z and a lot of other anime that get compared to superheroes are about getting stronger until you're stronger than the guy you're fighting. Most western superheroes have relatively static power levels, and when they do get stronger, it typically isn't something done to beat the bad guy, it's just a story about the hero having to deal with different powers than he's used to.

Most western superhero stories are about solving mysteries and outsmarting villains. There's a reason Superman's archenemies are either smart guys whose strength is irrelevant, like Lex Luthor or Brainiac, or gods who make Superman's powers irrelevant, like Darkseid or Mxyzptlk. Even his lesser villains consist of guys like Metallo or Parasite, where the bit is that he has to figure a way to beat them without getting close to them. Of course, plebs don't understand this, which is why the movies consist of things like Zod and Doomsday. But even then, Zod makes his powers irrelevant, and has better fighting experience, so again it's about outsmarting him. And Doomsday is just a plot device used to kill Superman when they feel like doing that story.

Or for a less autistic way of me saying this, there's a reason "DC" stands for "Detective Comics." Superman comes from "Action Comics," but it's not as representative of their actual content as "Detective Comics." Even Action Comics is about a guy who is a reporter and has to solve mysteries, instead of a professional fighter who just has to train hella hard like Rocky or something.

>dem quints

>dat first pic

Hercules is a really interesting example of how redpilled Marvel used to be. The pic is of DC Hercules, who, like in the actual legends, raped Hippolyta, who in DC is Wonder Woman's mother. So he's a villain. In Marvel, Hippolyta is a villain who hates the heroic Hercules because he hit it and quit it. Hercules is a chad and the queen of the Amazons is just a cunt. I assume Marvel has just ignored this for decades, but that original Jack Kirby run of Thor (which introduced Hercules) was awesome.
