I don't know what made me fall for you. Probably something about how vulnerable you seemed, or even desperate for affection and love. You had your dream. I wanted to have the love of someone like that. To be the one who fulfils it. Of course, I knew you wanted a woman and children which I couldn't give you. I still wanted you though. I wanted a lot from you, admittedly. I wanted your love, but at the same time, you seemed so vulnerable. Anyway, then you left. I'm going to skip most of the time in between, we talked about some of it yesterday anyway.
I don't know why I didn't let go, not even 18 months later. Sometimes I wondered if I was just too afraid to admit that you weren't worth it after all. Before you left, I used to call it a crush. At some point along the way, I figured it had to be either an obsession or love. I'm sure most would call it obsession. Even Poppy has. One or two months ago I might have nothing as a defense. Not long ago, you seemed sad, and you came here and trashed me, Foots and Wired, reminiscing how much you enjoyed destroying the group. I wondered if you finally broke and gave up on love. But I wasn't ready to accept that.
Then you said you loved Poppy. Completely, unabashedly, he was your everything. Anyone could say that, of course, but I don't think I'm just idolizing you when I say I believe you. I don't know if you remember: I said that it was bittersweet to hear… I wasn't lying. Of course I felt jealous and sad, but also vindicated. I wasn't wrong about you. I don't care how little you think of me, I have suffered a good deal and it was good to see that -if nothing else-, I was at least right about you. Some of the things I have done are shameful, admittedly. And just about all of them counter-productive to anything I wanted, even if it were just your respect or friendship.
Now comes the conundrum (or pickle) I mentioned the last time. If I'm not wrong, and you're not wrong, and your love is as great as I think it is. Of course I can't have yours, I'm not fool enough to think any different. But if a person ever wants to be loved that way, he'd better be ready to give back in kind. If you want absolute devotion, you must give absolute devotion. That's the kind of a person you have to be. And you can't take a break, you can't be that kind of a person when it's convenient to you and then when shit gets tough you back off. You either are, or you never have been and never will be. That's what has bothered me in the past few days. If I move on, I may be superficially content, but I'll be dead on the inside, won't I. God forbid I'd ever meet anyone else like you - I would want their love just the same, but I couldn't dare approach them; I wouldn't be worthy. If you flinch once in the face of that kind of emotion, you flinch forever. You fail. If I move on, I'll fail to be the kind of person I want to be.

I want to make one last thing clear. As I said earlier, you had your dream and I could not fulfil it, not being a woman and all. That's something that would need to be resolved first. I don't know what exactly I had been thinking most of the time. 11 days ago though, I realized something. I noted down my thoughts too so I can reproduce them word for word:

Heh, I did. In the first one I put up a decent fight, got partly fucked by misinterpretation of the rules. I thought I could steal a victory point from my buddy so long as I kick him off the victory hex, but didn't realise it was a permanent victory medal, meaning he keeps it once he gets it. If I knew that, I would have tried to prevent him from reaching the hex in the first place, obviously.
Second game I played as Russians which is already fairly hard. I think I made pretty decent choices. In the end though I think I got fucked by the simple fact that you start with tons of infantry out in the open, so they're easy pickings for Axis armor.
Third one I am not sure why I lost so hard, my initial position was kinda neat. I played the Japanese and was on the defense which means I didn't get to take advantage of Japanese offensive abilities. Got absolutely destroyed by the Marine Corps, 1-5 medals.

Imagine minecraft's one-by-one meter blocks, but with slope pieces and you have the basics of hull construction.
From there, there are dedicated steam and fuel engine blocks; gunnery pieces, building your artillery loader by loader, recoil absorber by recoil absorber.
Then, you have your ai pieces, so that the vessel can pilot itself without the player's input; putting together processing units, radar and camera pieces, so it knows where the enemy is, transmitters to allow it to speak to ai pieces controlling weaponry across its construction.
Naturally, you're only limited to what you can build by what you're willing to learn; there are wing pieces, wheel pieces, and LUA coding modules. I've built ships, planes, tanks, submarines, and airships; however, I'm unwilling to learn LUA coding for a game that works just as well without me knowing.

There's a few campaigns and there's a dedicated build mode. I enjoy the campaign because it actually provides a slight challenge and forces people to either create bigger ships with bigger guns, or to actually smarten up with their building styles. However, with the idea of changing up one's build style, that usually either leads me to changing all of my vessels or just making an entirely new fleet.

The build mode allows you to spawn in enemies, to allow you to test your ship's mettle.
Yes, you have to have constructions that can drill for resources in certain locations to continue refueling, rearming, and continue creating new ships.
You can do it whenever you get the chance to save and exit.

I guess whether there is any point to have the build mode depends on how much do you have to commit to something in advance during the campaign. If you need to, say, go and build specific construction in order to build and maintain a certain kind of ship / device, then it'd come in handy to see whether it's worth it, or if you'll be able to afford it in the amount you want. More so if you can't choose which save you load and only have to load the last one.

I went through the trouble of adding transparency to them all as well, only to remember that thumbnail images on 8chan don't recognize it. So I filled in the transparency on the upscaled images with black.
Most people use the build mode exclusively; the factions in the campaign's vessels aren't restricted to Earth's metrics, so replica ships don't usually fair too well against them.
You are shown how much each individual usable block costs, and there's a buildmode that restricts the total usable resources on whatever you plan on building.
