Summons are an Arcanist class feature so…
Unfortunately not, no.
And on top of that, only Summoners - an arcanist job, can use the Egi, so to feel my disappointment with them, I had to get to level 30, and do a quest.
And even then I only had Ifrit-egi until 35, and 40.
I guess there were probably other, less disappointing summons probably, but I never got far enough to see.

It's hard to say, but I think it'd have to be Snowfield. The sheer feeling it exuberates is unmatchable. It inspires in me all the feelings I have for Winter, my favorite season. A strange sadness, yet also wonder. It's hard to explain.
Seeing the world blanketed in cold, under snow and ice, I can't help but feel a sense of wonder, it's as if I can feel some long-kept mystery calling to me, waiting for me to come and discover it. I can feel adventure, freedom, peace, yet I also feel sad. Like there are so many mysteries in the world I may never even come to know about, and so many things that I have buried under the snow myself, opportunities, feelings, a chance to really feel whole.
I can't help but love it, too. Strange, coming from a man who has never loved, but I can't help but feel that happiness, a fresh start, may yet be over the horizon. Maybe if I find love, I may begin to understand some of the mystery.
Also beauty, beauty so holy and perfect that no description can ever truly do it justice.
I feel many complex feelings like this for Winter, and many more. That song resonates in me the feeling of Winter.

I ended up finishing Clannad again and when i saw the scene, holy shit it was rough. I knew it was coming but still, those lasts few dialogue lines are fucking devastating. Everything about that scene is perfect!!
That's a really beautiful way to describe it. Winter is glorious, i get what you mean, have you ever been outside in the middle of the night while it was snowing a good amount? It truly is a wonderland. Even when the world goes black and everything is wrong, it retains a certain beauty that I can never quite find anywhere else.
I can't say for sure, but I think some of my memory troubles may have started after I was subject to a horrible gas leak. It could be something else causing it though, I can't say for sure. And yes, I do sometimes forget a very specific word I want to remember, and I get very agitated trying to remember it. I'm actually going through it right now.
You seem to be quite good at writing already, I'm confident that with practice and timely inspiration you will be able to write masterpieces.
I always let the subject and thoughts come to me. When I write, I let myself get absorbed in a particular piece of inspiration, and flesh it out as I go. I remember one short story I wrote from a picture that I had set as my wallpaper, I was quite proud of it.
I'm glad you return my feelings. Though, I can't help but be sad that it's always the people I connect with most, are the very same people I can never meet.
