I drank like one shot or so of some sour whiskey mixed in tea about a week ago. I only did it as a sleep aid cause I had no other resources available. Nothing else would help me sleep, and I didnt have melatonin/benadryl/DXM etc basically no other drug to sedate me
The last time I drank to get drunk? Cant quite remember. Im certain it has been more than a week. But I will be getting drunk here in a couple days, and that falls within my drinking allowance as well.

Yeah one of the major reasons you get hungover is because of dehydration. iirc, you lose electrolytes as a result of this as well. The electrolyte imbalance is not a major contributor to the hangover, the dehydration is.
By drinking plenty of water as you drink, and some food on your stomach, as well as replenishing electrolytes the next morning; Thats how you mitigate hangovers
I typically never get hungover by using this rule of thumb. As well as I am really not all too prone to them. I can drink like a fucking fish without much of a hangover bothering me the next morning
