Speed tiers are basically the mon's highest potential speed stat. So Garchomp is in a speed tier of 102 (it goes by base stats) so with a Jolly nature 252+ EV in speed (which is generally what it runs) it hits 333.
Any pokemon with a speed tier under 102 is outsped, any mon with 102 is a speed tie, meaning a 50-50 chance either side moves first. Any mon above outspeeds
However, choice scarf can be used. This is an item that only allows you to select one move (until you switch), but grants you x1.5 speed. So any mon with 222 speed and a scarf will speed tie. Anything above, by even one point, outspeeds

God, there's a whole fucking laundry list about why I love the show, but just thinking of the reasons makes me want to down a bottle of sleeping pills.
Basically, it's one of the few things in this world that can make me feel. I can feel wonderful feelings. Feelings of great happiness and sadness, feelings of untouchable beauty and wonder which I can never experience in such an imperfect world. It's the only thing ever that could make me actually cry tears of joy.
As for other animes, I've seen Nichijou (not that one, the other one that has an actual story) Oreimo, Eiken, and Acchi Kocchi. There are also a few others where I've only seen a few episodes before getting really bored and quitting.
The difference between a romance and a slice of life is that slice of life doesn't put most of it's focus on the romance aspect of the story. Basically, slice of life is just a story where the characters live out their lives. Clannad has also been called a drama, which is fitting, but I think the slice of life label fits it best.

Shit I agree with all of my heart, there's only been one other show besides clannad that hit me in the feels so hard, everything about it was done so well. The character design, story, and the music godamn the music! That was a great yet consice way of describing it I've got to say, did you enjoy Oreimo? I appreciate you defining the distinction, I'd agree it could be called a drama but slice of life and romance fit the bill pretty well too, what is Eiken? I mostly enjoyed Oreimo. The only part of it I had any real fault with is the fucking atrocious ending. Eiken is smut incarnate, don't ever watch it. It's based on a smut heavy manga, but the actual show only got two episodes before being cancelled. It's the single closest thing you can get to hentai without actually watching hentai, nothing else that you have seen or will ever see will get as close to the fine line as Eiken.
As for shows that I dropped, the only ones that come to memory right now are Madoka Magika, Attack on Titan, and Sword Art Online. There were definitely more, but I couldn't be bothered to remember them.

I think clannad made everyone cry, you'd have to be a sociopath to avoid those feels. The marine ford arc was the one with the Ace and Whitebeard stuff right? I hated the ending because it's just such a fucking bullshit twist. You have literally the entire shows plot and character development come crashing down into an anticlimatic mess in only a few short minutes in the last episode.
Yeah, Eiken is honestly some of the worst smut out there. If you're ever curious about it, just watch some hentai and save yourself the trouble. That being said, it's easier to stomach than most bad animes because it's only two episodes.
As for the three, I honestly just got bored of them. I don't think I really watched them enough to truly be able to hate them, but I don't want to because I know I'll hate them anyway.

It really was the worst. By the end I was really rooting for them, and I was fucking happy with the story and character development. They fought God damn tooth and nail to get where they were, only to destroy it in one fell swoop for no good reason. It still makes me mad.
Yeah, just don't watch Eiken, it's just a big smutty nothing. Actually, I just remembered something funny. Eiken literally translates to "nothing", actually making it a show about nothing.
Yeah, I think I lasted the longest with Madoka Magica, getting about four or five episodes deep.
But hey, at least I got Clannad, the best thing to grace this disgraceful, tired world.

It gave me a mixture of sadness, anger, and disappointment, I was wanting for it to happen since the first episode and I'll never get over how that scene where they confessed went, was pretty georgous. Everything up until the end was so great as far as development so it made the end that much more devastating. What a great fucking translation aha, I'll probably watch it at some point regardless but thanks a bunch for the for warning about it, modoka magic gets a lot better close to the end like marginally better. Indeed clannad leaves a bright impression on this otherwise hollow fuck up of a planet. If you haven't seen welcome to the NHK I bet like it, it's a drama/SoL/Romance like clannad but it's about a NEET so it can hit home pretty hard, sorry to repetitiously mention it I'm drunk and just finished it again, had me feeling feels I've not felt in years
