I'd recommend finding some more solid motivation. I had the same driving force, then I moved away to college. The expectations aren't so driving, when you don't live with these same people anymore. I'm honestly struggling with finding motivation in my studies. I honestly need to get a job to fill in the blank space so that I have more urgency to study. Ah, speaking of test scores, I had taken the ASVAB and got a 83. Naturally, with a test like that, it's not 83% correct, it means I did better than 83% of people who took it.
Apparently a score like that is really something special, since another kid who took it got a 51, and another person who shares the same first name as me, and was shown my grade by accident, was talking me up to the kids in class.
It's a strange feeling to be praised on doing well.

You have no idea how much I can relate.
In the last group of friends I had, I never thought their admiration was genuine, something I'm currently going through with these folks. However, one of them had simply the sweetest thing to say to me, and I never doubted their companionship again.
Naturally, none of those people are my friends any more and I was right to doubt them, but still, I can't believe how much of a sucker I am for being praised and having nice things said about me.
For instance, in this group of people here, one of the members had complimented the dialect I apparently have and had called me a neat bird. This person is easily the closest thing to an object of affection I have amongst the lot of them. Naturally, I'm drawn to them to an unusual degree, which I'm certain is why they don't talk to me as much anymore.
I suppose I should be grateful they're merciful enough to still give me (You)s out of pity.

If you wanna play monster hunter, your best bet is the Wii U or wait until the switch gets MH. I tried the demo on the 3DS and imo its pretty annoying to play. I also wasted $40 on tr4sh and NEVER play it.
