I think it would be cool if someone made a beacon themed RWBY tabletop rpg.
Anyone have any idea what system we could adapt outside of GURPS and pathfinder?

I haven't played any role playing games other than Call of Cthulhu so I can't really say what system would be best. You'd want something that's fast paced and combat specialized.
Maybe /tg/ will have a better idea? I certainly remember them talking about RWBY on several occasions so they certainly know the setting. I also thing the RWBY page on Reddit is working on something, you can also search there.

I remember them having a thread about this very subject before, but I have no idea if anything came of it. Still, if they can make tabletop games based off Harry Potter, Soul Eater, and Totally Spies, they could probably help make a RWBY RPG.

I joined a group from a RWBY thread on halfchan recently. It is going to use the Fate system, and should be pretty awesome once it gets going.

You could easily adapt D20 Modern to have RWBY content and play it online over Roll20. It's based on D&D 3.5 but has modern settings and weapons and a race option that's basically the Faunus. I would love to play something like that on Roll20 but my friends are a bunch of cucks too busy with FFXIV and shit to set aside the time for anything having to do with Roll20.

When it was brought up in the past, there's an anime/sci-fi esque game that covers it. Unfortunately, the devs might be SJW (if it's the game I'm thinking of).
All I remember is a class/race being sun worshipers who are basically Yang. More powerful when hurt, fire and light spells/abilities, shock & awe tactics.

Unfortunately the DM's parents wiped his drives because of bullshit reasons so we've been in the /tg/ equivalent of filler hell for a bit, only recently started getting back into actual plot. Other than that, it's the game I look forward to most over the week.
I can't remember the initiation very well any more, other than soloing Ursas so much I got a favored enemy and +1 Overconfident, and it was after that that we switched to text for in game, so I don't even know what was going on with the other team (2 DMs, 8 Players).
