how do people make friends? im so fucking lonely. i have a gf who has a couple friends but thats all i have. i havent been to a party in 6 years and i only go out with my gf. i cant make online friends cause id be uncomfortable if my gf did that because of what that usually leads to, but for some reason no one irl wants to be my friend. im skinny, im not insanely ugly, i wash and have good hygiene, i dont stink, im not excessively weird (not outwardly to people before theyre my friends anyway). im so done. why doesnt anyone wanna be my friend. i want friends. i wouldnt care if it wasnt for me and my gf seeing eachother less than id personally like. why is this shit so hard. any form of making friends i can think of could also come off as flirting and i wouldnt want my gf to think im doing that to others. im so fucking done for.

Anyway... People mostly make friends online because it's convenient. I find a lot of people on Reddit. Sure, there are too many normies there lately, but there's also a wide variety of people. You just look for someone in the subreddits - through comments, posts, whatever. It's easy. You could try X, though I don't think that's a great idea. You could also try looking on forums dedicated to your interests or specific topics. Imageboards... I don't know. Maybe. But you'll probably just end up with some forty-year-old faggot asshole who immediately asks for a pic of your cock. Just try to be active online. It often happens by accident.
As for real life? I don't know. Hardly anyone makes friends that way on the street these days. It's too hard - it depends on where you live, and you might just not find the right kind of people. You know how it is: you try a hundred times and run into methheads or something like that a hundred times. It's a crapshoot. But it's possible. Anywhere. School, work, the library, festivals, events, the subway, the street, a café. Anywhere there are people. You help out, ask a question, clarify something, try to strike up a conversation, say hello, notice something, give a compliment, and so on. You interact.
Anyway. It's pretty obvious. I have no idea how you've been trying. How and where have you been trying to make friends?

I see people from my state, even people from cities close to mine, online all the timeit, it’s pretty easy to find them. It really depends on where you live - whether you live in a small town or a big city. Naturally, the people will vary, and the kind of person you'd get along with might simply not be there. Like, imagine trying to find a hardcore homophobic friend in California. It’s possible, sure. But... it’s California. The fucking faggot capital. So, just walking up to someone and meeting them in real life can be pretty tricky. Plus, it depends on who you're looking for. That type of person might never even go outside - you’d never see them on the street in a million years. And even if you *did* run into them once, you might just miss your chance.
Anyway. It takes time and effort. That’s all there is to it. Just keep trying. Over and over again. Walk up to people. Give it a shot. Strike up a conversation. It’s easy as hell. Running errands and you see someone on the street?? Walk up to them. In a store? Walk up to them. Sitting in a library? Walk up to them. Riding the subway? Walk up to them. SEE SOMEONE? WALK UP TO THEM. Look at your city, state, or wherever you are. Think about where the kind of people you want might hang out. You know, you could just start talking to some guy while waiting in line. Like... it’s no big deal. It’s actually a pretty good way to meet people. You just strike up a conversation because you’ve got nothing better to do. That’s all there is to it. Just observe people. Look for someone who’s alone, bored, needs help, or seems open to chatting out of sheer boredom - or just someone who looks like your type - and simply walk up and introduce yourself. You won’t die from it.
Also, go to specialized events, join clubs, and all that stuff. You know? Do different things in your free time, that way, you’ll visit more places and, consequently, meet more people.
Hell, idk. These are just general, obvious tips. Besides, people go out less these days, so they usually start online. It’s not a must, but the odds are definitely better.
