In reality, there have been relatively few new technologies being invented in recent years. All of the major tech innovations were made many decades ago. The world is not getting better and better. The average standard of living has been dropping for the past 20 to 30 years. 20 to 30 years from now, most of the people in developed world will become illiterate, and we will enter a new dark age of ignorance and illiteracy.....every passing month and years, the world is getting worse and worse. The best days of civilization passed many many years ago.

Illiteracy is a good thing. Things will be simpler. It is a flaw that words have to be complex. Simplicity is the ultimate genius form of progression because it allows information to be effectively transmitted to everyone.

I concur OP. It all went back to the Renaissance era wherein humans finally made the components we used today, but it was not earned by today, and it hit critical mass in how we could use it probably about in the 1999ish when you think about how we had super computers that could do 3d stuff. It's just that computers got cheaper but not more powerful. Diminishing returns other than 'muh gadget is cheaper and breaks faster'. No one made this shit and it's running it's course. A factory became another factory, evolving alongside us. We can't even go to the moon anymore as those previous factories that made Saturn V missiles no longer exist; we no longer possess the components for many things. due to a lack of harsh selection we will get dumber and the computers that got fast and cheap will just take longer to do less, of which is already happening, until they hardly work at all. When the electrcity goes off a bunch of AC raised fat humans won't survive a summer/winter. Only the third world will be left alive, but the first word keeps trying to make them modern, as though we even earned it, understood it, controled it, when we do not. We don't control technology any more than we control the weather or culture or evolution. We could control the weather, we could control evolution, we could get rid of patents and capitalism and ethical taboos and do whatever we want, but we wont. Know why? Because no one belives in the society that has a proper brain of whomst is in control. We want it to fall.

>50 to 70 percent of humans have no internal dialog

>80 percent of humans were shown in a trial, adults were, that the human brain lies to itself to protect it's ego

>in the study participants were shown two images and then at some point it was switched to trick them

>the image they liked less was defended to be the one they chose as the better image even though they did not

>the images wer not even that similar

>only 1/5 people are self aware

>only half of people can even begin to self reflect, maybe only 30 percent of them, with only 20 percent having their head out their ass

>80 percent of humans used to be flea bitten farmers that could not read

I want human cloning and embryo stores. I want to buy an embryo. I want to clone myself.
