Consider that it isn't just "being an incel". The ego, the voice that talks to you, has the mistaken belief that you aren't whole. That you need someone/something else to complete you. Senior year at all boys private school we had to take a class on marriage
We had male & female teachers but only one taught the marriage class, a male who was the coolest teacher in school (it's not like there much of a competition though)
He said that a man's purpose is his job/career (the provider, the breadwinner) and the woman's purpose is a relationship
Remember this is in the context of 17-18 men about to start college. But women go to college to nowadays. Everyone has heard of women going to college to get an Mrs. degree (to find a husband that is a good breadwinner/cash cow that can support kids and their grandkids, a family)
But there are also guys that go to college to focus on getting laid. I was talking to a guy the other day claiming his freshman year at USC he was going out and getting laid so much that he had to put an end to it and focus on school the last 4 years
As for the breadwinners, with girls going to college now, now you have girls who primary focus is in being a breadwinner/cash cow that can provide for a family (kids and their grandkids)
One of the ones I'm friends with was just looking for a "Mr. mom," guy to stay home and raise the kids. She married one, some guitarist in some band but she grew out of that fast and made him get a real job
