I think the independent music scene is facing a problem that stems precisely from TikTok’s format, because lately many independent artists have been focusing on creating content for a platform with a shallow audience; while I do acknowledge that TikTok’s algorithm is indeed powerful, it isn’t ideal when it comes to quality.
