You can install a new battery, it's not that hard. Just look for the appropriate model for your pc, you can't pick any battery and call it a day for many reasons, the most obvious one being the size. For the installation just look up guides on the internet. It is not that hard. And my advice would be if your computer is too scrappy and you can afford a new one then go for it, but if you can't it's fine. And don't cheap out on the battery, cheap temu products won't do

I might do this I looked up battery type model etc and its only $25 at amazon but why tho? the battery is at 9% now as long as I keep it plugged in I will see what happens when the battery gets to zero

Every rechargeable battery eventually loses capacity and you have pushed yours all the way to the point where it barely works anymore. Get the new one and put it in. When the battery hits zero, your machine will power off. Can't believe you haven't ever experienced that before.
