I truly believe that the Aquino case was a clear example of a cover-up of child abuse scandals, since many details of the case pointed to Michael Aquino—aside from a few incidents that occurred during the investigations and were proven to be criminal acts intended to cover up the scandal, such as the fire at the daycare center where the events took place, which was proven to be arson, and the death of the case investigator in an aviation tragedy , in which witnesses claimed to have seen the aircraft explode in midair rather than crash, as some have suggested; furthermore, the case file disappeared after witnesses reported that a team had gone to the scene following the accident.
