I am using Linux and Veracrypt to encrypt my hard drives and storage devices. I think it is a good idea to encrypt your devices. I have a 1 terabyte external hdd, 500 gigabyte memory stick and a 400 gigabyte memory card encrypted with Veracrypt. And my internal hdd is encrypted with Linux. Guess why people are encrypting their devices? Just trying to hide our anime.
