DDLC is so Reddit-core it’s amazing
Game is fucking mediocre in every aspect, it was clearly not allowed to be a real VN with romance options and enjoyable sex scenes so they chose gore and shock value, and it was the length of a single chapter of most real VN’s. The continued promotion of it by the people involved is disgusting, like a snake oil salesman chasing down a school bus. If they would have made it an actual love story it could have been fun, almost cute (art was kinda shitty), and novel for its strange word mechanic. Instead the “twist” of the fourth wall bullshit falls flat and leaves a terrible taste in your mouth.
Play Mary Skelter instead
