Why do so many people on here instantly assume their weight is the sole reason they can’t find a partner?

I’m a 21 year old woman, and honestly I’ve always been attracted to bigger men. Chubby, wider, hairy, types are genuinely attractive to a lot of women, whether people here want to believe it or not. The internet keeps pushing this idea that every woman only wants a shredded 6’4 male model, but real life is way more varied than that.

I think a lot of people on these boards end up trapped in an echo chamber where everyone repeats the same hopeless narratives until they start treating them like objective truth.

But attractions varies so much, it’s so very broad

I used to think maybe they just wanted sex from someone else, but I’m now convinced they exclusively seek payment. If you are broke, if you are perceived as having less money, you will not have sex. This is why men that lie about themselves (rappers, drunks) seem to have wives quite often. Women are stupid and if you pretend you have money something like ten percent are going to test the water.

Personally for me this isn’t true, I just like big men, that I have chemistry with haha, I am very personality based. Money is not an issue as long as we are both trying our best! I work full time. As long as my partner is trying hard like me, I am happy! But obviously circumstances may change and Im very understanding, as long as that is reciprocated! (: I think attraction is such a variable and too stereotyped, as I know Im not the only women like this!

People just realise what the ideal or most common body type or set of body types are seen as the most attractive or desired, and consider that if they don't fit into that, it is likely an issue for their dating/love life, which it can be.
