Yeah, apparently, there are people filing them, to report to law enforcement of individuals suspected of possession of illegal content. If someone filed a cyber tip on you, then an investigation against you might have started, and it is likely a search warrant will happen......even if no cyber tip has been filed, an investigation might already have started, because the governments are monitoring everyone who is downloading certain types of content.

I think someone filed an anonymous cyber tip against me, because I posted that I reformatted my computer to get rid of the porn (on Facebook)......about 1 year ago......this was reported to the NCMEC.....surprisingly, nothing has happened.....I assume these cyber tips don't make much of a difference, because LEA can already see whoever is accessing/downloading porn via the Internet, so even if a cyber tip never happens, the police can already see who is downloading which files on various websites......
