If you downloaded real CSAM on your computer's hard drive, reformatting it will not get rid of the incriminating evidence; it can still be recovered with digital forsenics tools from law enforcement. Of course, you are already doomed if a search warrant happens. Evidence can be recovered, even if the hard drive is reformatted btw. Anyways this is pointless to mention because I think everyone already knows about this. Reformatting a hard drive SOLVES NOTHING.
