Why are people posting this crap? It is either a LEA honeypot or some real dumb/malicious posters doing this. Why would anyone upload something that indecent? These cp threads appear once every couple of days, but they certainly ruin this website. Why do these threads even appear?

No one really knows. It might be a bot someone set up as a prank, or it might be a scammer trying to score some cash by tricking people into buying premium accounts on sketchy download sites. They never say anything so we can't be sure.

i don't think anyone would be dumb enough to download from such obvious bait links. Then again, anything related to cp is likely a bait, so nobody would be downloading such content (to begin with). Even downloading porn from mainstream adult porn sites (like xvideos) is already risky enough; someone has to be stupid to download from links which are obvious cp.

well it is pretty obvious that merely downloading cp is already an extremely serious crime. And just downloading it is enough for the police to get a search warrant on your house. Uploading/posting cp increases the likelyhood of a search warrant happening.
Of course, downloading/uploading anime/hentai is not illegal. I never heard of anyone getting arrested for downloading/uploading anime content.
