Yeah almost every site is a government honeypot at this point. Like Facebook. FB is the most obvious government honeypot. But other sites are probably honeypots, too.
Just because a site is legal, it could still be a honeypot. A site does not need to be illegal to be a honeypot. 8kun is likely another honeypot. So is 4chan, AllTheFallen, ExHentai, Steam, Youtube, etc.....assume every site is a honeypot.
If this was 10 to 15 years ago, there might have been some non-honeypot sites. Not anymore. It safe to assume every site is a government honeypot. There is only a handful of social sites on the entire Internet. There are millions of government agents. The Feds have more than enough resources to run every site as a honeypot.
This is not irrational paranoia. This is just the correct assumption to make.
