How did you manage to find cp on the clear web? I thought there was no cp on the clear web? In my opinion, finding cp is near impossible. Finding adult porn and hentai is easy; finding cp is very difficult. You need to enter very specific search terms on very specific search engines to find cp. As a side note, I don't think it is legal to have adult porn saved on your computer, much less cp. I'm pretty sure having adult porn saved on your devices is also illegal. The only difference is that you are much more likely to get caught if you have cp than having adult porn. You can access adult porn relatively safely; it is not possible to access the cp stuff safely, of course.

This is just a hypothetical scenario. If someone downloads a cp without Tor (using their real ip), the FBI can track down their download within 5 to 10 minutes. If someone uses Tor Browser to download cp, then it would take around 3 to 4 days (or a week at most) for the FBI to track down their download. This is because Tor uses 3 VPN servers, which makes it somewhat more difficult for the Feds to track down (but the FBI can still track down illegal downloads within a few days from Tor users). If someone uses Whonix to download cp, it might take the FBI 2 to 3 weeks to track down the downloader (or a month at most). Whonix uses 4 VPNs which makes it somewhat more difficult to trace than Tor (it is still traceable, everything is traceable for the Feds). Whonix is the hardest to trace, yet even it can be traceable. It just takes a few weeks to trace, rather than within a few days or a few minutes. I don't think any intelligent person would be downloading cp with their true ip; even using Tor is not safe enough; and even Whonix is not truly "safe".

there are many ways to find them on clear web. I think most of them are honeypot but you can get some free samples off of them.
1. redirect maze
find a sketchy teen porn site with only image and always redirects you to other similar sites. after 20 or so redirect, you might end up with some actual stuff. this does not always work and sometime there are http sites in the way. but I tried a few times and they worked, it even gave me a tor link. unsafe and time wasting.
2. invite group
there are many invite groups floating around. they will ask you to share invite links or pay so you can view more. most of them has free samples and you can just make accounts without email. you can catch these invite in many places. they usually dont last for a month, most link you can search online lead to dead site. very luck based, but very simple.
3. chinese porn directory
some chinese porn site lead to directories of hundred of porn sites. keep clicking different directory and you will find them (usually the animated icon on upper half). very reliable but I never find a single gif or vid that is not gated. most require you to pay or an account with phone number.
