the name similarity to fullchan and halfchan, word of mouth familiarity, not as many 404 lost boards. I'd reckon some of the population which moved to 8chan.moe doesn't even realize that moe came after fullchan

I think many anonons bailed when Jim decided to rebrand the site as 8kun.

I really hope he comes around and takes back the 8chan name when Ron is done with his Project Odin.

Biggest thing that happened was 4 years ago ron watkins banned loli, and then mark man moved all his gamergay cultists over to 8chan.moe

Both sites are pretty dead but this one is just filled with qboomers and a shitty disclaimer. 8chan.moe was filled with sad gamergaters who are pratically just qboomers at this point, untill 4chans shut down revived the place. But usage will still go down to zero long term.

Also Mark man hosts pedo boards on 8chan.moe lmao.

Many of the former 8chan boards do not like mark man nor do they like 8chan.moe and are on the webring like tvch.moe these sites are also dead. That is why those 8chan.moe boards don't feel like the old 8chan and have an off feeling to the then.
