Winter: barbell season. Inside and at home.

Summer: walking, sprints, jumps, outdoor calisthenics.

There is a great fitness trail/calisthenics park a few kms from my apartment so it works out great. I find that, to build health and energy, it is best to stimulate the whole organism, and using the sun, fresh air, nature, open spaces etc really works for that.

I had something similar when I was starting out minus the cardio

There's a decent playground but it's a 17 min drive and I basically only need it for pullups and leg raises, dips I do since I'm there anyway but don't even need them with bench. Wanna go there at least once a week especially before the heat but so hard to rationalize it with how busy I am rn

It's so retarded it's insane. I was on a run in my neighborhood and some dickhead didn't put the water meter cover back properly. Stepped on it and my foot dropped down about a foot at an angle. Basically landed with my ankle bent at a 90 degree angle with the outside of my ankle on the ground. Tore all of the major ligaments in my ankle. By far worst thing that's ever happened to me

I'm not sure tbh, I read up on other people with grade 3 ankle sprain (which is a full ligament tear) and they said that they were back to 100% within 1-2 years. I also read that it takes a year for a fully torn ligament to heal back to full maturity, so that checks. I didn't have surgery as the doctor I went to said he wouldn't recommend it unless it's not healing properly. So here I am 6.5 months later with an ankle that bends about 50% as far as it used to. I did 4 months of physical therapy which helped a lot, but since I stopped going the progress has been slower. I might just continue doing the PT shit at home to see if that accelerates the healing. What happened to your ankle?
