the human nervous system runs on electricity. as far as i understand it, the advantage of this (compared to the systems that are fluid-based) is that electricity is instant. to produce energy you have sugar in the blood and the cells are hoping that sugar swims by and when it is, a cell grabs it and burns it. since there is always enough circulating around, there might at worst be a short wait-time.
if your reflexes were fluid-based instead of electrically instant, then the body part that is supposed to instantly move to avoid danger, would have to wait for the information to swim by it, which would require a few seconds and then it would most likely be too late.
thoughts are the same way, they are precise and instantaneously. feelings/emotions are mostly electrically instant but there are also a few less urgent sensations which i am not so sure are electrically.

that doesn't answer the question though. are you saying all the body does is arrange sodium and potassium and then electricity happens? this would mean that the body "produces" it. what about the electricity that enters the body? it is not economical to waste the precious electricity that is entering the body with the food. i don't think you can argue that the body wastes opportunities like that, it is more likely that the body would try to use or store this electricity. maybe the body has short term capacitors that it can exhaust first before it would produce any.

i did endure classes about the ATP and ADP but the concept of electricity never came up. i never heard that the mitochondria also produces electricity. i'd assume as a by-product. what if the body only needs electricity, does the mitochrondria then do useless adp and atp conversions just to get the electricity or does the mitochondria has different programs like a washing machine and can choose one to fulfill only what is actually needed?

what about the wireless communication systems based on elecrical fields between members of the same species or even in more distant species? how does the body (of those who have found the electrical skills within them and trained them to the point of being able to use them) detect them? i'd assume the body doesn't have copper coils but maybe something similar that is fluid based.

Good post Op. I've been doing similar research myself. My best guess is electricity connects to the "cube". Strange but it makes sense. I've experimented with nude sunbathing and the results were indescribable. Like your entire body overflowing with energy. Especially the private area. if you weren't married to your easily assailable books, you would be free to see that a wise person would choose the medium to fit the purpose of the communication in a way in which the advantages contribute while the disadvantages are meaningless and in many cases a book would not be the first choice.

i wouldn't call it stumble, it happened while you were doing something similar. stumbeling would have been if you read it on a toilet wall or if you overheard someone in the bus talking about it or seen a meme about it on the internet. the reason i place such importance on that is because this gives me an unscientific glimpse of the cultural knowledge.
in the hundreds or thousands little bits of information that my brain catches and releases throughout the day, 99% is trivial. unimportant repetition. most people are all the same, they say the same things other people say. basically spam. but sometimes i hear something that i have never heard anyone communicate and through this i have little events i can gauge the collective repetitive trivial knowledge by.
i notice stuff i never heard before and through this i can make probabilities on when something that only few people understand breaches the collective and becomes common knowledge.
i do the same thing with industry through the emergence of new products which require certain information to appreciate. often the products are the thing that makes the breach happen, which implies that information about healthy habits that are not profitable for anyone usually spread slowly. healthy food is spreading slowly. healthy habits are spreading very slowly. and information that has not been turned into an easily processable chunk for humans is barely spreading at all.
while attempts have been made to turn the information about healthy breathing into an easy chunk i have yet to encounter anything easily accessible in regards to human electricity. similar to breathing it is something that is happening all the time and it has a gigantic effect on the life of the human.
finding these overlooked details that make the biggest difference is something a layman would believe is the job of science but science is busy doing other things that are not related to helping the majority of people live better lives; this is why science is not spreading anymore but reverting. the scientist used to be a respected member of society but that was before some information has been spreading on what science really is these days and the difference it tries to make. anyone whom this information has already reached is happy to diversify away from science when it comes to approaches to information and i am merely ahead of my time if i track the spread correctly.
wikipedia is an interesting example for what happens when things spread beyond a certain size and yet another good reason to be mindful of the spread. i used wikipedia a lot in the earlier days of it but now i wish for something like wikipedia but not wikipedia. something that lives the values that helped wikipedia reach mass appeal without reaching mass appeal, which is quite the difficult balancing act.
