i thibk 2006 is when the world really went to shit. its almost hard to think back to before google and smartphones. even though they're a good utility i feel that we've devalued a big part of the human experience with things like social media.
i wanna say this next generation is fucked. i feel that if i had unfettered access to the media and internet from the time i could walk that i would be some kind of soy sucking weirdo jacking off to sonic the hedgehog. or at least much further from that than i am now.
i never would know what its like to make forts in the woods, play smash brothers in the same room with friends and have all those chhildhood moments that seem impractical these days.
to be fair i guess oldfags of every generation say that. the human mind can adapt to these new circumstances just as they did with others. are we really heading into oblivion or will it just be different?
to answer OPs question, nah, might as well ride it out and take the punishment due to me for my life of laziness and sin at least to see what happens next. we could have some seriously interesting times ahead of us with the way things are going
