>wait 2 minutes to reply, type in captcha, "lel nope wrong captcha try again after 3 fucking seconds", repeat 4 or 5 times before I throw my hands in the air and give the fuck up, and was about to give up on this shit site too because of your stupid fucking captcha too
The classic oldfigs were right, captcha is cancer and there's an argument to be made that 4chan died the day they introduced it, decades ago now.
>WHY DO IMAGE BOARDS HAVE TO SUCK SO HARD NOW
Phoneposters, summerfags, people not lurking. You don't even have to go to 4chan to lurk now, the superior lurker lurks on archives like 4plebs and such where your lurking won't be interrupted by a thread going down, and you can dig further back into the past on some trail or other.
>Be thankful you were born with a hole and not a pole
They don't think that way, for the same reason that you and I aren't constantly thinking about how thankful we are not to get periods - anything you haven't experienced personally isn't real to you, that's why women don't get it and tell men to shower and be themselves.
>I hate when I'm trying to engage in some fun but pointless waste of time like video games or anime or youtube – and my brain will not STFU, I'm flooded with distracting background thoughts, when I'm trying to concentrate.
I get this too, it's the worst. I find certain types of entertainment can overcome it, or instead something less entertaining but more mentally engaging and slightly stressful and frustrating (like a tough game). I managed to overcome it a bit recently by dealing with some of the irl sources of the stress, but now I know that my brain can scream at me like that I'm prepared for if it comes back.
>"yeah, you're a low-value male doing a low-value male activity, lol, you could make the choice to suck less and make money and get laid but no, you've chosen to suck and fail and do it all wrong, to waste your one life on stupid crap like watching anime and playing video games instead of being normal and having a girlfriend
I choose to see it like this: how many men, throughout human history, have had sex/female companionship? It's less than a lot of people think, but it's still a lot, possibly even the majority of men. How many men will have had the opportunity to experience the internet as it is now, before it gets locked down? And to experience the games and anime that exist right now, before they're banned or become lost media in the future? We live in an age where countless treasures are being pumped out (most is shit now, I'm talking broadly about this current era, i.e 1953 to now) just in a blind corporate effort to keep people engaged, and most of these hidden gems will stay hidden forever… And most men are choosing to spend this unique time in history chasing the exact same thing they could get in any other period of history, something they could probably just wait and buy a sexbot to get by the time they retire. To me, it seems much more pointless to pursue something everybody has, rather than things very few people have. In the big-picture view, anime and video games and much else besides is simply far more valuable than sex by virtue of scarcity. Can I judge that for sure? No, I haven't had sex. But the data shows that the average sexual coitus is 2 minutes long and the average couple has sex once a week, so it can't be that good and I have it on authority from people who have had sex that it's not that good. Cope? Perhaps, but so is having children, or indeed any activity of any kind that isn't killing yourself - it can all be called meaningless so life itself is a cope.
