Malaysian PM Slams MH17 Inquiry, Says It Was Designed "To Blame Russia From The Beginning"

Malaysia is expressing serious discontent about a Dutch led inquiry into the MH17 crash, which ultimately "pointed the finger at Russia before the probe began", according to RT and Malaysia's prime minister. Malaysia said it is "unhappy" and the country's prime minister said that there were "more politics than fact-finding" in the inquiry.

Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia’s prime minister, made the statements after the joint investigation team revealed the investigation's latest results, which were quick to implicate Moscow. Malaysia says it isn’t convinced of the probe's integrity as a result.

"We are very unhappy. From the very beginning, it became a political issue on how to accuse Russia of the wrongdoing. Even before they examined the case, they have already claimed it [the shooting down of MH17] was done by Russia,” the prime minister said to local media.

On Wednesday, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) identified four individuals, three Russian and one Ukrainian, as potential suspects who may have played a "significant role" in shooting down the MH17 after receiving Buk surface to air missiles, allegedly from Russia. Both Moscow and the international investigators agree that the Malaysian Flight was, in fact, taken down by a Buk missile.

But Moscow says that the missile belongs to the Ukrainian military and is a type of missile that isn't in-service in the armed forces of Russia anymore. And Malaysia says that they want "proof of guilt" before they implicate Russia.

"So far, there is no proof, only hearsay,” Mahathir said.

The crash was also investigated by the Dutch Safety Board, which focused on the technical aspects of the tragedy. They criticized Ukraine for not closing the air space during a 2014 armed conflict in the east which also contributed to the incident. Regardless, the final report contained many “inconsistencies” and “unsubstantiated claims,” according to Moscow.

The RQ-4 Global Hawk is the largest drone in the U.S. inventory, described in an Air Force fact sheet as “a high-altitude, long-endurance, remotely piloted aircraft” capable of flying more than 30 hours at a stretch. The attack comes less than 24 hours after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Iran for the increase in tensions and tweeted, “President @realDonaldTrump does not want war with Iran. We will continue to communicate that message, while doing the things that are necessary to protect American interests in the region.” President Trump has not yet commented on the drone incident, but seemed to brush off the prospect of war late Wednesday at the end of a long phone interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Xi asks Kim to resume US-NK denuke talks

If the crime(s) happened in the US or touched any US financial transactions, then they can be tried in the US. Extradition from foreign countries to the US is possible if the US government can get the country in question to do it. (The US is probably more capable of doing this than any other country on Earth.)

If the crime(s) happened outside the US but not inside another country (Maritime law) then I believe there's a whole judicial system for that, but honestly, I'm not certain.

An interesting attribute of this whole RICO thing is that if the RICO is transnational and it can be shown that the object of the RICO was to interfere with the function of the US government, then it stands to reason that this could easily be considered an act of war. If this can be done, then ALL of the people involved (regardless of their international location) could be deemed war criminals and extradition could be sought this way. I don't think it would be difficult to pressure the other governments when the crimes involve anything touching knowingly raping or killing children. The bad guys at the top of the hierarchy are FUCKED on this one, in my opinion.

If the crime(s) happened outside the US and inside another country, then it is up to the country in question to use their legal system to enforce their law. The US can help, though, by freely offering evidence, for example, collected by the NSA. I do not believe it would be outside the imagination to believe that Trump might order the NSA to do so as a part of the Dec. 21, 2017 EO. He is, after all, the Commander in Chief of the US armed forces. I do not believe his doing so would violate any law in the US, but once again, I'm not certain. Also, using NSA data like this could be easily concealed (so as to avoid public misperception) by running the data through the FBI. This would prevent people from thinking Trump is playing military hanky panky.

Google, Facebook face 10% VAT from July

Global IT giants, such as Google and Facebook will have to pay a 10 percent value-added tax (VAT) starting next month, according to the National Assembly and industry sources, Wednesday.

This comes from a revision to the VAT Act, a much-awaited measure for their local counterparts that have long demanded a "fair and level" playing field.

The revision, which was approved by the Assembly late last year, is set to take effect from July 1.

Under the revision, the tax authorities will impose a 10 percent VAT on global IT giants' business-to-consumer (B2C) digital services, including online-to-offline services, online advertisements and cloud computing, which many expect will increase the competitiveness of domestic IT firms.

Accordingly, foreign IT companies are expected to increase their services and advertisement fees by 10 percent.

Democrats Hold Reparations Hearing — Witness Burgess Owens Calls for Democrat Party of Slavery to Pay Restitution (VIDEO)

The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties held a hearing on Wednesday to discuss “the Path to Restorative Justice.” Specifically, they were discussing H.R. 40 — a bill that proposes a commission on reparations.

Ta-Nehisi Coates, Danny Glover, Sen. Cory Booker and various other activists spoke at the hearing.

So did race-baiting Bishop Eugene Taylor Sutton from Maryland. Bishop Sutton argued that white people need to pay reparations to black people to save their souls from damnation.

But the Republican panelists stole the show. Former NFL great Burgess Owens called for the Democrat Party to be held accountable for reparations.

Burgess Owens: “I used to be a Democrat until I did my history and found out the misery that that party brought to my race… Let’s pay restitution. How about the Democratic Party pay for all the misery brought to my race…“

The audience at the hearing booed Hughes after he said, “Black people don’t need another apology. We need safer neighborhoods and better schools. We need a less punitive criminal justice system. We need affordable health care. And none of these things can be achieved through reparations for slavery.”….
