Isn't the big reveal actually that Snowden never left Asia? That's how he passed through customs, by never even trying? Since the US authorities were hunting him, it seems to reason, he probably would not have been able to leave the country (without a very elaborate ruse).

Wasn't the only 'proof' of his being in Russia that 60 minutes interview, which wasn't really proof at all?
