The Corinthia Hotel, London, opened in 1885 as the Hôtel Métropole until 1936 when it was taken over by the Ministry of Defence, later reopening as a Corinthia Hotel in 2011.
During the war, the building was used as the headquarters for MI9, a significant government organisation which coordinated and executed a large number of prisoner of war escapes across Europe. It is also believed that room 801 in the building held the government's records of UFO sightings

Same parked car on left side of street in all 3. Also same 2 parked cars on the other side of the street (not visible in the third photo because of the angle at which the photo was taken).
Also – when the first photo came back a while ago, I had assumed it was also taken from the traffic camera. But now that we have a ground level photo, it is clear that there was someone there taking all three.

Whichever anon posted this Friday, thank you. In a very bad place dealing with these corrupt cops and this absurd legal situation and ready to give up. This, and all of your energy, got me through the weekend and I am trying to reassemble the shards of my life.
I'm still not gonna do 10 years for possession of personal use testosterone without a prescription, but I don't go back to court until 3/28…and I'm hoping to figure out how to fight. Doesn't seem right that I served the country to protect everyone's Constitutional rights, while I'm now having mine gutted by the criminal actions of the police, but if there really is something HUGE about to drop, I can hang in there for everyone and hope the system truly gets cleaned so I can at least make a clean argument.
To steal a man's entire life savings, research, literary work, and then try to stomp on his neck with Felonies, while depriving him the means to deploy his resources into his defense is offensive to any concept of justice that I believe in - and part of the reasoning behind the 4th and 5th amendments. IMO this is treason by the crooked cops, but if I get chewed up in 5 weeks then I will deal with it then.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, Sir Winston Churchill was working in this building, looking out of the window when Big Ben struck signalling the end of World War I.
In 1916, thanks to its Whitehall proximity and location at the heart of London,
the British government requisitioned the Metropole as offices and accommodation for The Ministry of Defence staff working on the war effort. Before he
was Prime Minister, Winston Churchill worked frequently out of the Metropole and it is recorded that it was out of his office window in this very building that he watched people celebrate on the streets, upon hearing the bells chime for the end of the war.

During World War II the hotel provided office accommodation for the Air Ministry and the Ministry of Defence and it is the MoD’s former presence that gives the building its reputation as ‘spy HQ’ for the British secret service.
It is recorded that room 424 became the first home for MI9 and its sub-division, the Special Operations Executive, and later the holding point for one of the model planning beaches for D-Day. As befitting a building with this heritage, there are various tunnels and passages under the road to and from the hotel, that took officials to the neighbouring government offices. Today, they are locked up and remain top secret.

After World War II, the building continued as a government office for the Ministry of Defence. The imminent threat of war may have abated, but there were many other alleged activities, including the story of a special office in the building that, up until the early 2000s, was dedicated to the monitoring and sighting of UFOs.

His last story that night was posted when he landed in Chicago, and soon after he went out in 10 degree weather to get a sandwich at 2am from Subway
A spokesperson said that police are 'not in a position to confirm, deny or comment on the validity of what's been unofficially released' at this time
New details are coming to light about the days and hours before the January 29 incident involving Jussie Smollett that sources inside the Chicago Police Department now believe was a planned attack.
DailyMail.com has learned that Smollett landed in Chicago shortly after midnight following a lengthy plane delay out of LaGuardia.
He had been in New York City for a reading of the play Take Me Out, with sources telling DailyMail.com that Smollett was being considered to appear in a possible revival of the Tony-winning production about a biracial baseball star who comes out as gay.
The script for that play finds the lead character being attacked by a new pitcher who joins the team. That character uses the same racial slurs Smollett told police his attackers screamed at him, including 'f**t' and 'n**r.'
The characters also play for the New York Empires.
There were reports that Jussie would be meeting with local authorities on Monday, but his new rep Anne Kavanaugh shot that down in a statement, saying: 'There are no plans for Jussie to meet with Chicago police today. Any news reports suggesting otherwise are inaccurate. Smollett's attorneys will keep dialogue going with Chicago police on his behalf.'
The sources DailyMail.com spoke to said that this reading was just the initial stage of a possible revival of the production, which in 2003 won three Tony Awards for Best Play, Best Director (Joe Mantello) and Best Featured Actor (Dennis O'Hare).
Two readings were done by the actors in attendance, which included Zachary Quinto, on the morning and afternoon of January 28.
Quinto would later speak out about the attack on Smollett, saying: 'I was absolutely enraged by the injustice and the senselessness of such violence. but i was also vividly reminded that we MUST continue our fight for equality and acceptance at every turn in this country and in this world.
'When talented and courageous young men like jussie are targeted and struck down in our streets - we must collectively RISE UP against such hatred and be IDENTIFIED and be PROUD and be STRONG in our convictions of truth and self-love and love for one another.'
