Video game billionaire and “lifelong” Democrat Mark Pincus declared on Sunday he’s pulling the lever for Donald Trump after seeing “too much” over the past year.

Pincus, who founded video game behemoth Zynga, threw his support behind the GOP nominee over Vice President Kamala Harris even though he previously donated a cool $1 million to President Biden’s then-reelection campaign.

“I am voting for Trump,” he wrote on social media. “I have been a lifelong Dem, supporting the past 4 presidential campaigns at $1m each …This past year I have seen too much.”

Pincus listed the US’ declining relationship with Israel, exploding antisemitism nationwide, and the ongoing war against free speech as reasons he wants the 45th president back in the White House.

“Israel is America’s most loyal ally and the only Democracy in the Middle East. It is fighting Iran on 7 fronts and yet it can no longer trust the US,” argued Pincus, who is Jewish.

Reportedly worth north of $1 billion, Pincus was one of a growing number of Dem megadonors to encourage Biden to drop out of the race, the Financial Times reported over the summer.

He told the outlet he preferred Democrats hosted an open convention to pick their nominee.

But after Biden dropped out, prominent Dems were quick to rally around Harris.

Pincus, 58, helped start Zynga in 2007, naming it after his dog Zinga. The software development company is best known for launching FarmVille a couple years later.

While the California voter said he knows his vote in the heavily blue state won’t matter, he thought it was “important” to state his position regardless.

“I know America will continue to be great under the Dems or Trump,” he wrote on Sunday. “And yet I think America and Israel will be stronger under Trump.”

Police say they have been responding to “swatting” calls at schools in multiple Maine communities.

On Tuesday morning, Maine State Police say multiple communities received threats of armed individuals on school campuses around the state.

State police say these calls were "swatting" incidents. Swatting is a hoax threat where someone fakes some kind of emergency, like a shooting, to provoke an emergency response.

There is no known threat to the students, staff or public at this time, according to Maine State Police.

Bangor police say they responded to a swatting call at a local school. There is no emergency and all students and faculty are safe.

Officials saySouth Portland High School is currently on lockdownas police investigate reports of an incident at the school. No one is harmed, and there is no indication of an actual threat.All South Portland schools are in secure mode as a precaution.The lockdown at the school is expected to be lifted shortly.

South Portland Community Center, which is being used as a polling place, was also placed on lockdown but that has since been lifted.

Sanford police say they received a similar call. They were able to determine quickly that it was not credible and voting at the Sanford High School was not disrupted.

Scarborough policesay they also responded to a reported threat at Scarborough High School. This is one of numerous reports of this type of incident being received across the state. Police are investigating the threat and at this time, voting remains open.

Officials in theOxford, Berwick, and Bangorareas also received swatting calls.

Bangor PD says they responded to ‘swatting’ call at BHS

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) -The Bangor Police Department responded to a ‘swatting’ call at Bangor High School Tuesday morning.

They say it has been determined to be a hoax, and all students and staff are safe.

A district-wide email went out saying around 10 am the school received a phone call from a national crisis line saying there was a person on campus with a rifle.

The school went into a secure hold while the school administration worked with police until the grounds were determined to be safe.

The email says the incident is part of a national swatting hoax targeting schools nationwide.

The school was in the secure hold for 25 minutes.

Fulton County Polling Sites Evacuated After Bomb Threats.

Two polling sites in Fulton County were briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after receiving bomb threats. According to Nadine Williams, Fulton County’s Director of Registration and Elections, five polling stations in total were targeted. While authorities deemed the threats non-credible, the Etris-Darnell Community Center and C.H. Gullatt Elementary School were evacuated for about half an hour.

Both sites have since reopened and resumed normal operations.

Williams says the county is now pursuing a court order to extend voting hours at these two locations past the standard 7 PM statewide deadline to make up for the interruption.

South Fulton School Police reported that at around 8:15 AM, someone had also alerted them to potential bomb threats at several schools on Election Day. While no threats were found, officers conducted thorough safety checks across the campuses, including Feldwood Elementary School, to ensure safety.

“At this time, we do not believe these threats are credible,” police stated. “However, with several polling sites located within schools, we are aware of the potential for further attempts by bad actors to create panic and disrupt voting.”

Fulton County is best known for its association with the Democrat District Attorney, Fani Willis, who brought a controversial lawfare case against former President Donald J. Trump and his associates in the run-up to the election.

Trump easily defeated his Democratic rival, winning 52% versus 41% for Harris. About 6% of the vote was split among three other candidates on the ballot.

Maine's student mock election has accurately forecast the national winner of every presidential election since 2008, although the students' choice doesn't always win the most votes in Maine on Election Day.

Students also voted to re-elect the three members of Maine's congressional delegation who are on the ballot this year: independent Sen. Angus King and Democratic Reps. Jared Golden and Chellie Pingree.

An exhibit spotlighting an unheralded but vital element of America’s space capabilities was unveiled in an October ribbon-cutting ceremony at Los Angeles Air Force Base, both to celebrate the program’s achievements and inspire future Guardians.

Showcasing the Centaur III upper stage and its associated RL10 rocket engine, the exhibit was dedicated on Oct. 18 at Los Angeles AFB, where Space Systems Command is headquartered.

The Centaur family of liquid hydrogen-fueled upper stages has been placing U.S. spacecraft into Earth orbit and beyond since 1965, while the program – which made its 289th successful flight Oct. 4 - has been, and remains, an integral part of missions led by the Space Force and its predecessor organizations.

“The Centaur is deeply rooted in our history,” said Col. Michelle Idle, SSC deputy commander, who spoke to an audience of more than 100 attending the dedication ceremony.

“It has put many of our capabilities up to orbit … time and time again, the Centaur has delivered.”

Idle’s remarks were the keynote of the dedication ceremony, which came as the culmination of a multi-year effort to deliver the exhibit to Los Angeles AFB as a partnership between the Space Force, the Air Force, industry partners, and SSC’s Heritage Center, which supports the command’s public history and educational missions.

“Centaur’s not only been a long-living system that has continuously been updated with new technology, but it’s also been a pretty darn reliable system that’s operated with a high success rate … it’s over 92%,” said retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Thomas Taverney, who serves as chairman of the Heritage Center’s foundation.

“The Centaur, the RL10, have been pretty much hand-in-glove with (what’s now) Space Force since the ‘60s, getting critical satellites to orbit and still is there, helping us do our job.”

The dedication was the latest in a series of 2024 commemorations of SSC’s history, which began in 1954, when the Air Force’s Western Development Division was formed to manage an urgent program to develop missiles, launch vehicles and satellites during the height of the Cold War.

Today, SSC - a Space Force field command since 2021 – is the leading organization responsible for acquiring and delivering capabilities to protect the United States’s strategic interests in space, including managing a $15.6 billion acquisition budget for the Department of Defense.

The Centaur stage and the RL10 engine on display at LAAFB were used for various testing and research purposes over the life of the program.

They were donated by United Launch Alliance, the corporate partnership between Lockheed Martin and Boeing that provides satellite launch services for the Department of Defense.

ULA is the corporate descendant of Convair, which developed the Centaur in the 1960s, as the product of research by the government, industry and academia.
