The EU’s top prosecutors have taken over an ongoing corruption investigation into European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Politico reported on Monday citing an unnamed spokesperson for the Liege Prosecutor’s Office in Belgium.

The probe relates to the purchase of nearly two billion Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine doses for the EU at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The prosecution claims the EC chief negotiated the multi-billion-euro deal with the pharmaceutical giant’s CEO, Alber Bourla, in private via text messages before clinical trials for the vaccine were completed.

Von der Leyen has refused to disclose the content of those messages, claiming she cannot find them.

Investigators from the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), who have been working on the case for the past few months, reportedly believe that Von der Leyen may be guilty of “interference in public functions, destruction of SMS, corruption and conflict of interest,” according to legal documents seen by Politico.

Ukraine could go bankrupt as early as next year unless Western countries agree to write off or restructure its debts, an official from the World Bank told TASS on Saturday.

Kiev is reliant on financial aid from its Western backers but foreign support has dwindled in recent months, while a $60 billion US aid package remains stalled in Congress.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, was commenting on the latest $1.5 billion tranche of funding which Kiev received last week under a World Bank program. According to the source, the World Bank’s division representing Russia voted against the loan, citing the organization’s charter.

The draft document on the allocation of the funds “openly” points to the “catastrophic” state of Ukraine’s public finances due to an economic downturn and a reduction in foreign aid, the official told the outlet.

The dispute arose when Chris Elston, also known as "Billboard Chris," received a notice from Australia's eSafety Commissioner requesting the removal of a post. Elston, a Canadian resident, had made comments referring to a transgender-identifying Australian activist by their biological pronouns, along with other critics.

The activist in question, Teddy Cook, identifies as a man despite being biologically female and has been an advocate for taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries in Australia. Despite being appointed to a World Health Organization expert panel, Cook has made several shocking posts on social media. According to the Daily Mail, Cook’s now-private social media was filled with content such as public nudity, bondage parties, trans orgies, and bestiality.

Despite this, the Australian eSafety Commissioner turned its focus on Elston, deeming his post as "deliberately degrading” in a letter.

Represented by their union in the arbitration process, Stacy Hughes and Marisol Sanchez, both part-time hospital clerical staff since 2017 and 2016 respectively, alleged they were terminated without just cause pursuant to the hospital’s mandatory vaccination policy, legal documents show.

The mandate was instituted in December 2021, with all staff required to submit proof they had accepted the COVID-19 jab by January 17, 2022.

Employees who fail to comply “will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination,” the policy stated.

Hughes and Sanchez were put on a two-week unpaid leave of absence and were given a February 3, 2022, deadline to get the shots or face termination.

Neither of them complied with the vaccine mandate, and they were unceremoniously fired.

Though the former staff do not contest the fact that there was a policy, the “union does not concede that the hospital’s policy, in its entirety, is reasonable,” states the legal documents.

Although the Liberal Environment Minister Steven Gilbeault has mused he won't spend money for more Canadian roads, the Canadian Pension Plan is putting millions into such projects in India.

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) have an ongoing investment in an infrastructure trust sponsored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

In late March, the CPPIB and OTPP announced a new capital raise, contributing $297 million and $298 million, respectively. Their total respective investments stand at $614 million and $606 million.

“Our follow-on investment in [the trust] deepens our commitment to this highly scalable platform, which has an important role to play in the continued expansion of the Indian road network,” said James Bryce, CPP managing director in a press release.

In a separate release, Debapratim Hajara, managing director of infrastructure and natural resources Asia-Pacific at the Ontario Teachers’, said OTPP is glad to continue investing in high-quality Indian roads.

“The country’s road ecosystem is an important driver in supporting India’s economic growth and we are delighted to continue our partnership with the NHAI," Hajara said.

According to its website, the CPPIB's mandate is to maximize profits and minimize risk as it invests its $590 billion in assets.

"CPP Investments is guided by an independent Board of Directors, operates at arm’s length from federal or provincial governments, and is managed independently from the CPP itself," the site explains. Continue…

Now, with the humanitarian crisis caused by Hamas’s October 7th attack on Israel, the United Nations and the global community are providing funding to Hamas.

Aid given by sovereign nations comes from taxes; therefore, U.S. taxpayers are now funding Hamas. Under U.S. law, providing material support to designated terrorist organizations is a federal offense. President Trump has urged that all support for Palestine and Gaza be halted because the money is supporting terrorism, but the UN, the Biden administration, and globalists and liberals have criticized him. Additionally, the UN has refused to designate Hamas as a terrorist organization.

In Myanmar/Burma, roughly two million people have fled their villages and are taking shelter in the jungle because of attacks by the military junta, which seized power in a 2021 coup. While these people are running out of food and water and lack proper shelter and clothing, the UN is providing humanitarian aid to the junta. Tech giant Google has agreed to settle with plaintiffs who alleged that the company invaded users’ privacy by tracking online activities even when they were using Chrome browser’s private incognito mode.

Five plaintiffs filed a class action lawsuit in 2020. The lawsuit covered millions of users and sought $5 billion in damages, a minimum of $5,000 per affected person. The lawsuit alleged Google misled users into believing that by using incognito mode while browsing the Internet, the tech firm wasn’t tracking their activities through third-party cookies, which help track user activity.

Google has always disputed the claims. It argued that the Incognito splash screen and terms and conditions make it clear privacy settings have limits and that users were made aware.

Google and the lawsuit plaintiffs submitted a notice in the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California last year, agreeing to a deal that would “resolve the claims,” pending court approval. At the time, the details were not revealed.

However, a fresh legal filing from April 1 revealed that under the proposed settlement terms, Google will “delete and/or remediate billions of data records that reflect class members’ private browsing activities.” The data deletion will apply to users outside the United States as well. Continue…

The latest edition, based on surveys of more than 93,000 people in 46 countries, documents how overall trust in news has slid downwards by two percentage points in the past year. About four in ten people in the total sample say they trust most news most of the time. Among the countries surveyed, Finland remains the country with the highest level of trust (69 percent), while Greece (19 percent) has the lowest.

The share of citizens in all countries surveyed who are “very” or “extremely” interested in news and consume it regularly fell from 51 percent in 2022 to 48 percent in 2023. Many people are choosing to increasingly ration or limit their exposure to news, or at least to news of a certain kind. Thirteen people have been injured in a drone strike on the city of Elabuga in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, local health officials have said.

The region is located some 650 km east of Moscow, and had not previously been directly impacted by the Ukraine conflict.

Tatarstan leader Rustam Mannikhanov said Elabuga and the nearby city of Nizhnekamsk came under drone attacks, adding that no serious damage was inflicted by the kamikaze aircraft.

The primary target appeared to be the industrial zone in Elabuga. Its chief manager Timur Shagivaleev said that two drones were involved, and implied that Ukraine was responsible.

Residential schools book contributor to attend council meeting following censure

One of the authors of a book discussing Canada’s residential school system will be attending an upcoming city council meeting in Quesnel, B.C., following a unanimous decision to denounce the book last month.

Frances Widdowson, a professor and contributor to Grave Error: How the Media Misled Us (and the Truth about Residential Schools), will attend Quesnel’s council meeting Tuesday meeting on April 2 to ask questions.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 pm Tuesday at City Hall, 410 Kinchant St. in Quesnel.

Widdowson’s appearance is in response to a city council motion brought forth Mar. 19 to denounce the book as harmful. The motion passed unanimously.

The book is a collection of essays edited by C.P. Champion and Tom Flanagan and published by True North.

The motion followed news that Mayor Ron Paull’s wife, Pat Morton, had purchased several copies and distributed them in the community.

The Lhtako Dene Nation accused the book of downplaying the harms of residential schools.

“It has come to our attention that a person related to a member of the city’s elected (council) has been distributing a book entitled Grave Error,” wrote the Lhtako Dene Nation in a letter to the mayor and council last Tuesday.

The Indigenous group claimed that the book was “basically questioning the existence of Indian Residential Schools.”

Champion and Flanagan said this simply isn’t true.

“Despite the fact that there is absolutely nothing in Grave Error that questions the existence of Indian residential schools, Council members voted unanimously to denounce the book,” wrote the editors in a press release.

A Pakistani flight attendant who disappeared after arriving in Canada earlier this year has been arrested in Toronto while carrying multiple passports. Her arrest comes on the heels of at least eight flight attendants disappearing in Toronto after landing on flights from Pakistan International Airlines.

According to Pakistani news channel ARY News, Canadian authorities arrested flight attendant Hina Sani on March 28, more than a month after she arrived on Pakistan International Airlines flight PK789 from Lahore Allam Iqbal International Airport, landing at Toronto Pearson Airport.

Upon her arrest, immigration authorities discovered several passports belonging to different individuals in Sani’s luggage.

Pakistan International Airlines confirmed its knowledge of the arrest and said it is in contact with Canadian immigration.

A non-binary-identifying Ontario resident is in a legal battle with his province, demanding they fund voluntary surgery to give him a fake vagina — while fully preserving his real penis.

The 33-year-old identified by K.S. as per the court documents, is currently in a legal battle to receive funding from Ontario’s Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) for the specific bottom surgery.

K.S. was born a biological male, but self-identifies as “female dominant”, and goes by a feminine name.

As reported by the National Post, K.S. was denied by OHIP in 2022 for his peculiar request to receive a vaginoplasty while preserving his penis, a surgery unavailable in Canada (shockingly).

Grace Ocean Private Limited and Dali’s ship manager, Synergy Marine Pte Ltd, requested in the petition to be exonerated from all liability for the Key bridge’s collapse.

A portion of the filing obtained by Independent states, “The [bridge collapse] was not due to any fault, neglect, or want of care on the part of [ship owner & operator], the Vessel, or any persons or entities for whose acts [ship owner & operator] may be responsible.”

The lowest corporate tax rates are known to be found in smaller countries to attract investment from multinational corporations and foreign firms.

In fact, multinationals sheltered $1 trillion in profits in tax havens in 2022 alone. Many of these countries have corporate taxation rates of 0%, while others have rates falling around 5%. By comparison, the global average corporate tax rate stands at 23.5%.

Perhaps as no surprise, Barbados ranks top on the list, a tax haven where American corporations have transferred profits that exceed the country’s entire GDP.

Like the U.S., many big Canadian companies—from grocery giant Loblaws to Petro-Canada—shelter profits in the country thanks to a tax treaty signed in 1980. Overall, the Tax Justice Network estimates that $62 million in profits are shifted into the country across global multinational companies annually.

With the lowest rate in the Middle East, UAE ranks fourth on the list. For the first time ever in 2023, the country increased its corporate tax rate from 0% to 9% to better align with the international push in raising corporate tax rates. This also allows the country to diversify revenues, which are heavily concentrated in the energy sector.

Compared to 1980, tax rates have fallen across the board. We can see that in 1980, Hong Kong had the lowest rate, which stood at 17% to encourage business investment.

Overall, 91% of countries across 225 jurisdictions have corporate tax rates under 30% today.

The leaked files from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health—better known as WPATH—reveal “widespread medical malpractice on children and vulnerable adults,” according to a 241-page report disclosing emails, documents, and an 82-minute video.

Environmental Progress, a nonprofit organization led by founder and president Michael Shellenberger that obtained the files, released them to the public in an exposé on March 4.

“The WPATH Files show that what is called ‘gender medicine’ is neither science nor medicine,” Mr. Shellenberger said in a statement. “The experiments are not randomized, double-blind, or controlled. It’s not medicine since the first rule is to do no harm. And that requires informed consent.”

The files are “a shocking admission” by WPATH doctors and other medical practitioners privately acknowledging they’re not getting proper informed consent from parents and children before proceeding with gender transition treatments and surgeries, prominent civil rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon told The Epoch Times.

Ms. Dhillon, the founder and CEO of the Center for American Liberty, which is representing several women who’ve allegedly suffered harm and irreversible damage as a result of WPATH’s recommendations of transgender surgery for gender dysphoric children and young adults, called the exposé “an important act of journalism.”

“These leaked files show that behind closed doors, WPATH members are admitting to the fact that they’re not getting informed consent for hormonal and surgical interventions from young patients, which is the very premise of our litigation for young women who’ve been mutilated by these doctors when they were children,” she said.

The Center for American Liberty has taken on three pro-bono cases representing detransitioners Chole Cole, Layla Jane, and Luka Hein, who are suing Kaiser Permanente and doctors who performed double mastectomies on these young women.

Housing affordability worsened in every single market tracked, with some reaching the worst levels of all time, a report from one of Canada’s top banks finds.

The revelation from RBC’s latest analysis on housing affordability was that the median Canadian household now has to spend an unprecedented 63.5% of its income to afford the mortgage.

A report from Statistics Canada last Wednesday marked decline in satisfaction and hopefulness among young Canadians, with approximately a third of youth reconsidering home purchases or moving to a new rental in 2022, thanks to daunting financial pressures.

In Vancouver, a city the report says is “in full-blown crisis,” an average household has to spend 106.3% of its income to cover home ownership costs.

Other cities, such as Victoria and Toronto, saw similar deterioration, with households having to allot 80.2% and 84.8% of their incomes towards mortgages, respectively.

Housing affordability in Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax is at or near all-time worst levels. Ottawa’s aggregate measure reached an all-time high of 49.9%. Montreal also reached a record-high needed income for housing costs, at 53.3%. Halifax, whose long-run average aggregate measure was 31.9%, jumped to 45.3% of income required to spend on housing costs.

The 63.5% of median income needed to be spent towards owning a home across Canada rose from 61.8% in the third quarter. RBC’s report, authored by Robert Hogue, claimed that high interest rates helped propel this increase, offsetting the nationwide small price relief. Continue…

The letter calls on political leaders to “address the rise of incivility, public aggression, and overt hatred undermining the peace and security of Canadian life.”

Toronto police were prompted to arrest several protesters after the demonstration became unruly.

This past weekend, Toronto’s Palestinian Youth Movement rallied hundreds of protesters in the city’s downtown core to acknowledge “Land Day.” The Palestinian political day of observance marks the 48th anniversary of the Israeli government’s decision to confiscate a section of land for state purposes; a minority of which was Arab-owned.

At the protest, demonstrators could be heard yelling pro-Palestinian slogans like “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a slogan that Jewish organizations condemn as extreme and antisemitic as it refers to the erasure of the nation of Israel.

Footage from the protest shows the notorious Palestinian protest organizer Naved Awan calling for his fellow demonstrators to hold those accountable for failing to support the Palestinian cause, even at synagogues.

How Canada’s governments procure goods and services is inefficient, report finds

How governments across Canada procure goods and services is not serving the interests of Canadians and is falling behind other countries in terms of efficiency.

These were the conclusions made by a new report authored by the Council of Canadian Innovators, a non-profit led by more than 150 CEOs of Canada’s biggest companies. The report, Buying Ideas: Procuring Public Sector Innovation in Canada, was released on Wednesday.

Research revealed that procurement, the process of sourcing, acquiring, and paying for goods and services, accounted for 14.6% of Canada’s GDP in 2021, amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars.

“The fact is that the current culture of government procurement — both federally and provincially — is not serving the Canadian economy, and it is not serving the government’s own purposes,” wrote analysts.

The failure of government procurement was amplified in technology services, revealed the report. Approximately one-third of 1,480 “mission-critical” government digital applications—critical to Canadians’ health, safety, security, and economic well-being—are considered to be in “poor health,” according to a recent Auditor General report.

On top of that, the Auditor General found that nearly two-thirds of applications used by departments and agencies “were reported as being in poor health and in critical need of modernization.” The Auditor General noted it was a conservative estimate given that departments and agencies were not providing accurate, timely, or complete information about the health of their systems.

This year marks the 107th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, where 3598 Canadians were killed and another 7000 were wounded. April 9, 1917, is regarded as the bloodiest day in Canadian military history.

In 1922, in honour of the sacrifice of Canadian soldiers, the French government ceded Vimy Ridge and the land surrounding it to Canada forever.

Hardy was released from his prison sentence after eight months to serve in the Canadian Corps after the losses as Vimy.

The delegation will visit Hill 70 Memorial, where Frederick Hardy died on April 15, 1917. According to a Veterans Affairs itinerary for the trip, "stories of 2SLGBTQI+ soldiers who served in the First World War will be shared by the delegation."

The LBQTQAI+ mission will be comprised of Rainbow Veterans of Canada and the LGBT Purge and will be joined by Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, once in Belgium.

The findings come from Research and Co.’s latest poll of 1,002 adults nationwide.

“This is the highest number we have recorded in five yearly measurements, up three points since 2023 and up six points since 2022,” they stated.

Part of the reason for the uptick could be due to an increase in immigration to Canada.

Research and Co. stated that while 31% of White Canadians believe the death penalty is ‘never’ appropriate, “the proportions are lower among respondents whose origins are Indigenous (20 per cent), South Asian (15 per cent) and East Asian (10 per cent).”

The development comes shortly after news broke that serial killer Robert Pickton, aka the Pig Farmer Killer, recently became eligible to apply for day parole. Pickton was convicted of six murders but he’s claimed he killed 49 women and regretted not making it “an even 50.”

The poll found that for opponents of the death penalty, their main argument against it is the possibility of a wrongful conviction. 38% of those who oppose the death penalty believe it’s not a deterrent, though less than 1 in 5 opponents think that murderers can ever be rehabilitated.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released previously hidden reports of facial paralysis and other adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination.

The 780,000 reports were received shortly after the COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out, and show people experienced a wide range of post-vaccination problems, including heart inflammation, miscarriages, and seizures.

“Loss of consciousness and seizure immediately following injection. Went to ER by ambulance,” one person reported.

“Diagnosed with Bells Palsy today due to left-sided facial numbness and paralysis,” another said.

People lodged the reports with V-safe, a text-message system created by the CDC to monitor for possible side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.

The CDC, for years, declined to make the V-safe data public, instead publishing studies that described the reports as providing reassurance about the safety of the shots. However, according to data released in 2022, nearly 8 percent of the 10 million users required medical attention or hospital care after vaccination, and many others reported missing school, work, or other normal activities.

Technology developed by a company called NEC has been utilized to introduce biometric ticketing on the opening day of the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) season. This pilot was undertaken at four designated baseball parks, including Minute Maid Park in Houston, where it was revealed that around 6,000 eager baseball fans favored convenience and used the touchless technology for entry to the stadium.

Nationals Park in Washington incorporated the biometric tech through MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry system into their opening day proceedings. Using the MLB Ballpark app for touchless access, ballpark attendees could breeze through dedicated entrances using face biometrics enrolled via a selfie. Notably, Nationals Park has four such specialized lanes providing quick and easy access to fans who use the new system.

Queen’s University introduces med school lottery to increase doctor diversity

Queen’s University has unveiled a lottery system for its medical school admissions process, claiming that the new process will help address equity issues on a broad scale.

The new admissions process builds on an existing pathway that supported recruiting black and Indigenous high school students on an accelerated track.

In a press release issued Tuesday, the university claimed that inflated thresholds intended to manage applicant volume and emphasize extracurricular or volunteer activities “disadvantage certain groups, either due to inherent biases with the required tests, or by favouring the privilege required to build one’s application package.”

Dr. Jane Philpott, Dean of Health Sciences, said that the thousands of applicants who would make excellent doctors will be given an equal opportunity to be selected for the interview stage.

“This will help level the playing field for prospective students,” she said.

However, Dr. Chris Milburn offered a different viewpoint in an exclusive interview with True North, a point he said led to him being fired from Dalhousie University’s medical school admissions committee.

Instead of lowering standards, he suggested reaching out to communities not generally meeting standards and figuring out how to assist them.

Queen’s University’s new MD Program admissions process will still set admissions thresholds for grade points average, Medical College Admissions Test scores, and a situational judgment test score “at levels that align with the potential for predicting success in medical school.”

A British Columbia city council meeting erupted in chaos as debates over a controversial book on residential schools led to heated exchanges and calls for the mayor’s resignation.

The book at the centre of the controversy, “Grave Error: How the Media Misled Us (and the Truth about Residential Schools)” sparked a widespread backlash from some in the B.C. city of Quesnel, particularly among council members and Indigenous groups. True North is the publisher of the collection of essays.

The controversy began when Pat Morton, the wife of Mayor Ron Paull, distributed 10 copies of the book, which has stirred controversy over its critical analysis of certain claims about residential schools in Canada, specifically those regarding purported unmarked grave discoveries.

The distribution led to a packed council meeting, where supporters and opponents of the book voiced their concerns.

During the meeting, some attendees, many wearing traditional Indigenous attire, jeered at speakers defending the book, including Morton and Prof. Frances Widdowson, one of the Grave Error’s several contributors.

Morton expressed regret over the division the book’s distribution had caused, stating, “I’m sorry you’re here due to the actions of this council. I’m sorry if my actions sharing the book have upset you.”

Morton asked the audience to listen to her as she had listened to other speakers.

“I’d like you to listen to me. I listened to you, so please listen to me,” said Morton.

Widdowson faced significant opposition when she questioned the council’s stance on misinformation, specifically regarding claims of unmarked graves at the Kamloops Indian Residential School which were spread by the media but have never been verified.

“Auto theft has reached crisis levels,” police say after recovery of 598 stolen cars

Investigators who are part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation into Canada’s auto theft crisis announced the recovery of 598 stolen vehicles since the investigation began last December.

“In Canada, a vehicle is stolen every five minutes,” said Bryan Gast, vice president of investigative services for Équité Association. “Auto theft has reached crisis levels in Canada.”

Auto theft claims have skyrocketed since 2020, up 319% nationally, which prompted the Ontario Provincial Police’s Auto Theft and Towing team to partner up with the Canada Border Service Agency to recover vehicles and intercept them before they’re illegally exported out of the country.

The ongoing investigation, which has been billed “Project Vector,” is being carried out in collaboration with the Sûreté du Quèbec, Montreal Police, and the Équité Association.

Representatives from each agency were present at a press conference in Montreal on Wednesday to give the public an update as auto thefts spiral out of control.

A vehicle stolen every five minutes means that about 135,360 vehicles have been stolen in Canada since the beginning of 2024. Continue…

Ford rejects call from chief medical officer to increase drinking age to 21

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he disagrees with the province’s top doctor’s recommendation to increase the drinking age to 21 and decriminalize certain drugs.

Ford pointed out the absurdity of someone being old enough to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces but not be able to enjoy a drink.

“I disagree with raising the (drinking) age to 21 and one of my principles (is) these young people they put a uniform on and go fight for freedom around the world, driving tanks and heavy military equipment, and putting their lives on the line for democracy and they can’t go back later and have a beer?” he said during a press conference in Oliver Paipoonge, Ont. Wednesday.

“That doesn’t cut it.”

Ford was responding to a recommendation made by Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore, who suggested the change as part of his 2023 annual report.

The province’s drinking age wasn’t the only recommendation that the two didn’t see eye to eye on however, as Moore also suggested decriminalizing simple possession of unregulated drugs for personal use.

However, the health minister’s office took issue with the notion of decriminalizing hard drugs and immediately rejected the suggestion.

Studies showing that diversity improves corporate performance were flawed

Studies purporting that racial diversity amongst corporate executives drove better financial performance were found to be unreliable and are not capable of being replicated.

Four studies the international consulting agency McKinsey & Company released between 2015-2023 pushed the idea that diversity and equity measures would lead to improved results.

The company claimed that racial diversity among a corporation’s leadership helps to drive better financial outcomes for the given corporation.

The McKinsey studies alleged that firms with an ethnically diverse executive team are more likely to financially outperform than they are to underperform compared to companies without diverse executive teams.

However, this assertion is being challenged by authors Jeremiah Green and John R. M. Hand who contend that McKinsey’s findings are illegitimate because they were unable to replicate the findings that McKinsey had reached.

In their own review of the studies, Green and Hand explained that since McKinsey has not made public the detailed datasets, nor the names of the firms studied, they were forced to perform a quasi-replication using companies listed on the S&P 500 index to test McKinsey’s findings empirically.

Measuring earnings before income and tax, the duo found that there was no statistically significant difference between firms with a “diverse” executive team and those without one. Continue…
