An Alabama mayor and pastor has committed suicide in front of police officers after photos of him in drag were published online.

An article about Smiths Station Mayor and First Baptist Church of Phenix City pastor Bubba Copeland dressing as a woman was published on 1819 News on November 1. His suicide was confirmed by police two days later.

The report had detailed how Copeland was posting as a “transgender woman” online under the pseudonym “Brittini Blaire Summerlin.”

“In the social media posts, Copeland can be seen wearing several articles of his wife’s clothing, as shown by her social media,” the report explained. “Additionally, Copeland regularly commented on other posts, referring to himself as a ‘thick transgender woman’ and encouraging other transgender individuals to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Copeland also posted transgender pornography, often giving vivid captions describing being a ‘whore’ and getting ‘f****d.'”

Adviser to Italian PM resigns over Russian prank call

Georgia Meloni has said that Francesco Talo took the blame for a phone conversation during which she admitted ‘fatigue’ with Ukraine

Francesco Talo, a diplomatic adviser to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, has resigned after his boss’ recent phone conversation with Russian pranksters resulted in the public release of Meloni’s unfiltered comments on the Ukraine conflict and domestic issues.

Meloni announced Talo’s resignation on Friday during a Council of Ministers’ press conference. Answering a question about the prank call, the prime minister said that she had “had a doubt,” which she shared with the diplomatic office.

However, there was “a superficiality in proceeding,” which prompted the adviser’s resignation, she added.

She called Talo’s decision “a gesture of great responsibility,” noting that his tenure of service had amounted to several decades.

Regarding her statements about fatigue over the Ukraine conflict made during the prank call, Meloni argued that she “said nothing new” and added that “public opinion, including our own, is suffering from the consequences” of it.

On Wednesday, Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus released the recording, dated from late September, where they spoke with Meloni while posing as an unnamed African politician. During the conversation, the Italian prime minister admitted that there was “a lot of fatigue” with the Ukrainian conflict, adding it was near “the moment in which everybody understands that we need a way out.”

These revelations come amid fears that Western support for Kiev is dwindling while the world’s attention’s has turned to the war in Gaza. In an interview with The Times published on Monday, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky expressed concern that “exhaustion with the war rolls along like a wave.” “You see it in the United States, in Europe,” he claimed, adding that it “is becoming like a show for them.”

On Friday, the US House of Representatives passed a $14.3 billion aid bill for Israel that does not include support for Ukraine, despite a White House statement that President Joe Biden would veto it. At the same time, the EU failed to agree on a budget allocating €50 billion in aid to Kiev.

This month, Santa Clara County decided that everyone — patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers alike — must don the all-too-familiar face masks in public patient care areas in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. This directive is not for a week or a month but for the entire “winter respiratory virus period,” Mercury News reported.

This mandate is slated to span from November 1 to the end of March. That’s a whole five months of mask-wearing, in spite of declining COVID cases.

Marin County has jumped on the bandwagon, implementing a comparable order. As if that weren’t enough, Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Sonoma counties aren’t far behind, mandating their healthcare workers to be masked up in patient care areas starting this week.

Health officials are signaling residents to stock up on rapid COVID tests. And it doesn’t end there. The federal government, under the Biden regime, has brought back the program that offers free COVID tests. Since September 25, consumers have been eligible to request a shipment of four rapid at-home tests through the USPS site.

Oklahoma City’s Ordinance Will Fine People for Feeding Meals to the Homeless Without a Permit

A new ordinance in Shawnee, Oklahoma, will fine good samaritans for giving meals to homeless people — unless they have a permit.

Any person handing out food without a permit will be fined $250 for a first offense and $500 for subsequent offenses.

The city claimed that people handing out free food has led to trash being left for people to clean up.

“There were two and three groups coming into feed or where groups have left and left trash in the downtown area, which then either city staff had to clean up or nearby property owners depending on which way the trash blew,” said Shawnee City Manager Andrea Weckmueller-Behringer, according to a report from local station KOCO.

There will be an exception for giving out food to fewer than four people.

“Feeding operations is defined as four or more individuals,” said Weckmueller-Behringer.

Weckmueller-Behringer said that people can volunteer with the Homeless Resource Center if they really want to help.

“What we were trying to do was balance the needs of our community overall and not tip property owners and business owners against homeless neighbors because we do recognize that eating is a basic requirement,” said Weckmueller-Behringer.

People who regularly work with or volunteer to help those in need have argued that this is the wrong way to solve the trash problem.

“I thought, ‘That’s outrageous. That’s a step too far,'” Sarah Inselman, who works with the homeless community in Shawnee, told the station. “They’re humans, and they deserve to be treated like humans.”

The ordinance will go into effect on November 16, just before Thanksgiving.

Earlier on Friday, McDonald discussed the conflict with diplomats from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Israel’s embassy in Dublin criticized the Sinn Fein leader for not inviting Erlich to the meeting, accusing her of “only [seeking] to isolate Israel, rather than offer a forum for constructive engagement.”

Turkey Recalls Ambassador from Israel, Cuts Contact with Netanyahu

Turkey said Saturday it was recalling its ambassador to Israel and breaking off contacts with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in protest at the bloodshed in Gaza.

Ankara announced the decisions on the eve of what promises to be a difficult visit to Turkey by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

But its tone hardened against both Israel and its Western supporters — particularly the United States — as the fighting escalated and the death toll among Palestinian civilians soared.

The Turkish foreign ministry said ambassador Sakir Ozkan Torunlar was being recalled for consultations “in view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians, and Israel’s refusal (to accept) a ceasefire”.

Israeli forces have encircled Gaza’s largest city while trying to crush Hamas in retaliation for October 7 raids into Israel that officials say killed around 1,400 people — mostly civilians — and saw some 240 people taken hostage.

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says around 9,500 people — mostly women and children — have since been killed in Israeli strikes and the intensifying ground campaign.

Hezbollah Leader Calls U.S. ‘Great Satan,’ Insists Israelis Committed Gruesome Massacres Of Jews, Not Hamas

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah gave a speech to his followers on Friday in Lebanon in which he declared that there was no outside involvement from other governments in the Hamas massacre of Israelis on October 7, called the United States “The Great Satan,” and made the incredible claim that the Israeli themselves were the perpetrators of the horrific, gruesome actions taken by the forces of Hamas.

“From the very first hours, it was clear that the enemy was lost … you know it was the Sabbath, perfect timing by the commanders,” said Nasrallah, bragging that the attack took place on the Jewish Sabbath.

Speaking of the Israelis, he continued, “It took them hours to come out; they came out in hysterical state, angry and in insane fashion.”

He then claimed that the atrocities committed by Hamas had actually been perpetrated by Israelis, stating “That’s why when they had to recapture the settlements within Gaza envelope, they perpetrated massacres against the Israeli settlers. Not Hamas.”

Nasrallah insisted that outside governments or entities were not involved in the Hamas massacre, saying, as Al Jazeera translated, “Al Aqsa Typhoon was 100 % Palestinian in terms of decision and execution. The secrecy in which the entire operation was shrouded proves that it is a totally Palestinian for the sake of Palestine and the people of Palestine. And it has no relation at all to any international or regional issue. … the decisions of the resistance factions are in the hands of their own leader.”

Speaking of Iran, which funds his terrorist group as well as Hamas, Nasrallah insisted, “They do not exercise any form of authority or mandate on these factions or in their command.”

“No doubt it was a brave, heroic, creative, perfect, massive operation commended at all fronts and at all levels,” he celebrated, calling the slaughter of Israeli citizens, including women and children, a “glorious operation.”

He then said the United States was ultimately responsible for Israel’s counteroffensive against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

“We must establish this fact,” he declared. “The United States is totally responsible for the war raging in Gaza… It is the United States, proving once again, as described by (Former Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah) Khomeini, it is the greatest Satan, the great devil.”

HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS SIX ISRAELI ARMY SITES, DOWNS SURVEILLANCE BLIMP (VIDEOS)

On November 4, Hezbollah launched another series of attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from southern Lebanon.

In two separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted the Israeli military sites of Jal al-Alam, al-Jardah, Hadab al-Bustan, al-Malikiyah, al-Matula and al-Abad with “rockets and suitable weapons,” hitting and destroying military equipment.

Ali Shoeib, a reporter of the Hezbollah-linked Al-Manar TV, said that the group also shot down a surveillance blimp that was deployed by the Israeli settlement of Misgav Am.

The last wave of attacks against the IDF came just a day after Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah had warned Israel not to launch a preemptive offensive against Lebanon.

Responding to this threat, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned Nasrallah on November 4 against “making a mistake”.

“We are on the defensive in the north and attacking with full force in the Gaza Strip, this is our priority,” Gallant said, in remarks provided by his office. “We are not interested in getting into a war in the north, but we are ready for any task. The Air Force maintains most of its strength for the Lebanese arena, against Hezbollah.”

Since the Hamas-led surprise attack from the Gaza Strip on October 7, Hezbollah and its allies have had near-daily exchanges of fire with the IDF along the Israeli-Lebanese border.

As of November 4, the clashes on the Lebanon front have claimed the lives of eight Israelis -six soldiers and two civilians- 57 fighters of Hezbollah, two fighters from the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, seven Palestinian fighters -three from the Hamas Movement and four from the Islamic Jihad- and seven Lebanese civilians -two shepherds, a teenager, two elderly men and two journalists-.

Pentagon Suspends Travel To Israel For Top DOD Officials, Members Of Congress

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has implemented a temporary suspension of Pentagon flights to Israel for top DOD officials and members of Congress due to the intensity of military conflict in the area.

The Department of Defense typically provides the aircraft and support needed when members of Congress travel overseas, including to conflict zones.

“I hereby restrict visits by DoD senior leaders to Israel effective immediately and until further notice,” Austin said in a memo. Any senior DOD leader that needs to travel to Israel will have to get authorization directly from either Austin or the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, depending on the position of the person making the request.

“I further discourage visits to Israel requiring DoD support by members of Congress and their staffs,” the memo said. “I hereby instruct the Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs to inform the appropriate congressional leadership that DoD support to congressional delegation visits will be unavailable to Israel during this period, and no DoD support shall be made available for congressional travel to Israel without my approval.”

Austin said that the policy will not impact the normal operational flow of personnel to the United States Central Command area of responsibility.

The Pentagon will also continue to provide support for “any desired visits by the President and Vice President of the United States,” the memo added. “These restrictions also do not apply to travel by the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretaries of the Military Departments, or Service Chiefs.”

The memo comes after Hamas terrorists murdered 1,400 Israelis in an unprecedented terrorist attack last month in which 5,300+ were injured, more than 240 were taken hostage, and countless stories of barbaric violence were inflicted on innocent Israeli citizens. Hamas also murdered 31 Americans during the attack.
