Introduction

This open.ink special collection offers an in-depth look at True the Vote’s election integrity efforts in Georgia. It is not a complete recitation of True the Vote’s work; for that, we would have to start over a decade ago. Open.Ink Editorial: The Georgia and January 6th-related indictments against Donald J. Trump are predicated on the narrative that election authorities like Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, and others had thoroughly evaluated the accuracy of the 2020 elections and gave counsel to then-President Donald Trump that there was “no meaningful election fraud” based on their professional, supportable evaluations. True the Vote’s experiences in Georgia prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the General Election of 2020 was never meaningfully investigated. From the over 67,000 votes attached to voting records of individuals ineligible to vote in their jurisdiction to unmonitored surveillance cameras and phantom ballots, these errant processes should have been monitored and investigated before certification. As you will read, True the Vote repeatedly presented its work to Federal and State law enforcement officials. Authorities did not investigate. United Nations Countering 'Deadly Disinformation' Through Creation Of 'Digital Army'

In an Aug. 19 press release, U.N. officials said peacekeepers throughout the world are building the "digital army" through smartphones, editing apps, and "innovative approaches" as part of efforts to "fight back against falsehoods that can trigger tensions, violence, or even death."

The intergovernmental organization has also been monitoring how mis- and disinformation and hate speech can "attack health, security, stability" as well as progress towards its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), officials said.

"Digital platforms are crucial tools that have transformed social, cultural, and political interactions everywhere. Across the world, they connect concerned global citizens on issues that matter," U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said in a policy brief (pdf) published in June on information integrity on digital platforms.

Such platforms have "given people hope in times of crisis and struggle, amplified voices that were previously unheard, and breathed life into global movements," Mr. Guterres wrote.

However, they have also "exposed a darker side of the digital ecosystem," the U.N. secretary-general noted.

"They have enabled the rapid spread of lies and hate, causing real harm on a global scale," he wrote in the brief. "Optimism over the potential of social media to connect and engage people has been dampened as mis- and disinformation and hate speech have surged from the margins of digital space into the mainstream. The danger cannot be overstated."

The U.N. policy brief acknowledges that there are "no universally accepted definitions" of the term "disinformation" but says the U.N.'s own working definition of the term refers to "false information"

The more you visualize it, the more interesting, colorful, detailed it becomes. The more colorful and detailed it becomes, the more you are showing up for the fun of the visualization.

2. When you make visualization a habit you begin to let go of your attachments, agendas and expectations about it. It becomes natural and you find you are encountering more and more and more of that which you visualize.

You start to visualize your new hair style, then two weeks later, you have it. Then you visualize taking a trip to an island you love, and a month later you find a great deal on airfare to that island and book that trip! You begin to stack up evidence that your visualization creates encounters with that which you want. As you practice every day and stack up evidence through your commitment to visualization, you’ll begin to release attachment to needing it, or worry that it won’t work.

Because time after time, you’ve seen the evidence that it does work!

3. When you do this every day, you begin to have fun with it. Eventually you’ll cease to visualize because you want to create or encounter or manifest. You’ll begin to visual because it’s fun. You begin to visualize because you like to do it, not because you are trying to get something.

Then you understand the visualization process is not a tool to get things, it is an extraordinary blessing about being a human being. It’s one of the ways you can encounter God through the process of bringing something closer and closer to you—just for the fun of it. Remember, it is all play to the soul.

At first you will visualize things you might need. We encourage you to visualize things you desire, but don’t need. As you open yourself to this opportunity to continually speak with, listen to and visualize the encounters you are wanting—with people, experiences, things—you will see it as part of the wonderful dance of being a human being.
