Democratic voters are prepared to back President Joe Biden for another term in office – that is, unless Michelle Obama decides to step in.

The Center Square Voters' Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that Biden would coast to victory over declared candidates attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and writer and speaker Marianne Williamson.

Democratic voters would pick Biden (68%) over Kennedy Jr. (16%), with the remaining undecided. Similarly, voters would pick the incumbent (67%) over Williamson (9%), according to the poll of 2,500 registered voters.

The prospects for the declared challengers are low.

"They have an uphill battle and their chances are looking pretty slim right now," said Mike Noble, founder and CEO of Noble Predictive Insights.

Biden would defeat a handful of hypothetical candidates who have not declared and are unlikely to do so as well. He'd have no trouble beating former New York City Gov. Bill de Blasio (9%) or Minnesota U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (10%).

The incumbent would have narrower but still decisive victories if he had to face Vice President Kamala Harris (26%), California Gov. Gavin Newsom (25%), U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (30%) or former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (34%).

But Michelle Obama (48%) would have more support than Biden (36%) ifshe jumped into the race. The wife of former President Barack Obama has strong support from women, people younger than 55, moderate Democrats, voters without kids, and voters with children younger than 18, according to the poll.

"Biden is pretty safe in the Democratic primary," Noble said. "However, he'd better make sure Michelle Obama is on his Christmas card list."

Biden does have some weaknesses, including with 18- to 34-year-olds, Democrats in the southwest and voters who say crime is out of control, according to the poll.

Voters also would like to see Biden debate his challengers. In fact, 64% want a debate, polling shows. Support for a debate is stronger among Democrats (68%) than Republicans and independents (both 62%). Even more surprisingly, voters who already support Biden are the ones who want a debate the most.

In every hypothetical Democratic matchup, voters who want to see Biden debate are at least, if not more, likely to support Biden than Democrats overall.

The Democratic National Committee has already decided not to sponsor any primary debates ahead of the 2024 election.

The poll was conducted by Noble Predictive Insights from July 31 to Aug. 3. Unlike traditional national polls, with limited respondent count of about 1,000, Noble Predictive surveyed 1,000 registered Republicans, 1,000 registered Democrats, and 500 independents, culminating in a sample size of 2,500. The margin of error for the aggregate sample was ±2.4%, with each political group independently weighted. For information about the methodology.

Earlier poll results in The Center Square Voters' Voices Poll indicate GOP frontrunners former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would be locked in tight races with Biden and that Biden is largely underwater with voters in a number of key descriptors.

New Emails Provide Stunning Evidence of DOJ and Hunter Biden Corruption

As RedState reported, a new report from Politico blew up the lengths to which Hunter Biden's legal team went to secure the sweetheart plea deal that would eventually fall apart under questioning from Judge Maryellen Noreika.

In a shocking revelation, a threat was lodged to call President Joe Biden as a witness if the now-infamous gun crime Hunter Biden committed was prosecuted. That would have presumably left the DOJ facing the wrath of the White House, and sure enough, pre-trial diversion with broad immunity was eventually offered.

The New York Times was also shown the emails that Politico based its story on, and together, the two outlets offer a stunning look at various events that appear to show clear collusion between Hunter Biden and the DOJ. Tristen Leavitt, who works for Empower Oversight, a whistleblower advocacy group that represents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, put together a thread of the highlights.

Had the DOJ Tax Division approved charges against Hunter Biden, Weiss would have had the ability to file charges wherever he wanted. Why was that denied, given the clear evidence that existed that Hunter Biden had failed to lawfully pay his taxes, never mind the alleged fraud he committed in doing so (i.e., claiming a sex club membership as a golf club membership)?

Hunter Biden's legal strategy was to pressure and coerce the DOJ into not prosecuting. That was accomplished through the aforementioned threat of calling Joe Biden to testify, but also through a series of moves to politicize the probe, including inserting Donald Trump into the discussion. You may recognize the name Lesley Wolf, as that's the same Assitant U.S. Attorney who essentially scuttled the IRS' investigation into Hunter Biden. I can only assume she took the threat of "career suicide" from Hunter Biden's lawyers very seriously given her actions regarding the case.

Pressure also appears to have been applied to the U.S. Attorneys in other districts, including in the districts that would ultimately not file charges and rebuff Weiss' request for cooperation.

Things didn't stop there, though. Hunter Biden's lawyers then sought to go over the head of Weiss.

It wasn't long before the very same associate attorney general who Clark appealed to decided to force Weiss to have yet another meeting with Hunter Biden's legal team. That's when the timeline gets really crazy.

Yes, you read that right. One of the top officials at the DOJ forced Weiss to meet with Hunter Biden's primary lawyer, and just four days later, the IRS whistleblowers (Shapley and Ziegler) were removed from the case. The rest is history. The sweetheart plea deal would then be formulated and pursued by both sides.

It's impossible to ignore how corrupt this entire process was, and it's also impossible to believe that Weiss could still be trusted to handle this probe in an unbiased fashion. When a U.S. Attorney has already succumbed to so much pressure, including pressure that looks incredibly corrupt, there's no reason to believe that person has what it takes to be the special counsel in charge.

Now a Hong Kong study by Yu and colleagues have found that of young persons who had heart damage confirmed by MRI [magnetic resonance imaging] and who underwent a second scan one year later, 58 percent had residual abnormalities suggesting a scar could be forming in the heart muscle.

Forty adolescents, mean age of 15, mostly boys, were evaluated. It was notable that 73 percent had no cardiac symptoms, so without an evaluation, the parents would have had no idea their child was suffering heart damage from the COVID-19 vaccine. Approximately 18 percent of cases initially had reduced left ventricular ejection fraction indicating they were at risk for the development of heart failure. …

Russian air defense shoots down multiple targets near Belgorod – governor

Several aerial targets were destroyed and emergency services are assessing potential damage, according to Vyacheslav Gladkov

Russian air defenses shot down multiple drones over the southwestern Belgorod Region on Saturday, according to local authorities and the country’s military.

The Defense Ministry has confirmed the destruction of three unmanned aerial aircraft in the area, blaming on Kiev the foiled “terrorist attack.” The drones were downed in an unpopulated area, avoiding any casualties or material damage on the ground, the military said.

Governor of Belgorod Vyacheslav Gladkov initially said at least 12 aerial targets had been downed outside the city. The official revised this figure later in the day, confirming that only three targets had been shot down, with an initial assessment of the situation having suggested the incident did not cause any damage on the ground.

The Russian border regions of Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod have been repeatedly subjected to drone strikes and artillery shelling by Kiev during the ongoing conflict, which broke out back in February 2022. The attacks have left dozens of civilians killed and injured, as well as damaging infrastructure.

In recent weeks, Ukraine also ramped up its efforts to target the Russian capital with long-range drones. The attempts have been mostly unsuccessful so far, but several unmanned aircraft made it to Moscow’s business district, where they caused material damage.

The “inadequate” leadership of Vladimir Zelensky has caused a national catastrophe in Ukraine and MPs should hold him accountable, according to Oleg Soskin, who served as an aide to two Ukrainian presidents.

The country’s economy has been “destroyed”amid the conflict with Russia, he said in a video that was posted on his YouTube channel on Saturday.

“There’s no breakthrough anywhere” by Ukrainian forces on the front line, Soskin continued, adding that the public “shouldn’t believe retired colonels,” who are speaking about Kiev’s military gains.

Zelensky’s insistence that Ukraine will defeat Russia and his reluctance to acknowledge the actual situation is a sign that the president is “inadequate” both as a manager and a person, he said.

“Zelensky is just dangerous for the country. He’s simply dangerous for the people,” warned Soskin, who served as an aide to Ukrainian presidents Leonid Kravchuk in 1992 and 1993, and Leonid Kuchma between 1998 and 2000.

“Something must be done about Zelensky. I’m calling for it again,” he said. “Gather up, somebody has to show initiative. Some conditions must be put forward for [the president],” Soskin insisted, addressing Ukrainian MPs.

Earlier this week, Zelensky claimed that his team was “preparing powerful things for Ukraine” in cooperation with their Western partners, saying that the country had “taken another step towards the circle of the strongest states in the world.”

The much-hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive began in early June, with Kiev deploying its best Western-equipped and trained brigades in an attempt to sever Russia’s land bridge linking Donbass with Crimea in the southern province of Zaporozhye.

According to Russian estimates, Ukraine has lost more than 43,000 troops and nearly 5,000 pieces of heavy equipment amid the operation, but failed to achieve any significant gains. Kiev has so far reported the seizure of several villages, but they appear to be located some distance away from main Russian defense lines.

Earlier this week, the Washington Post cited a classified US intelligence report, which suggested that “Ukraine’s counteroffensive will fail to reach the key southeastern city of Melitopol,” and that Russia’s land bridge to Crimea won’t be severed this year.

Niger’s new military government outlines transitional period

The coup leader, General Abdourahmane Tchiani, has pledged to return the African nation to civilian rule over time

Niger will return to civilian rule within three years, the West African nation’s new military government has pledged, while warning nearby states against trying to intervene in Niamey’s internal affairs.

In a televised address on Saturday evening, General Abdourahmane Tchiani – who deposed President Mohamed Bazoum in late July – said his government would decide on the principles for a transition within a month. The process itself is expected to take “no longer than three years,” Tchiani said.

He also stressed that while neither his government, nor the Nigerien people, want war and “remain open to dialogue,” the country is ready to defend itself against any external “aggression.” Tchiani predicted that such an intervention “would not be the walk in the park that some believe.

Commenting on his first meeting with representatives of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the general expressed confidence that the two sides “will work together to find a way out of the crisis, in the interests of all.”

On Friday, the bloc’s commissioner for political affairs, peace and security, Abdel-Fatau Musah, warned that ECOWAS had decided on “D-Day” for military action in Niger, adding that the member states had “agreed and fine-tuned what will be required for the intervention.”

Last week, the organization ordered the deployment of a “standby force” to reinstall President Bazoum in Niger.

According to Musah, 11 of the 15 member states have agreed to deploy their troops, should an intervention take place.

However, not all ECOWAS members are on board. Chad and Guinea have opposed both sanctions on Niger and any military deployment.

The military governments in Burkina Faso and Mali have gone as far as warning that they will consider a military operation against Niger tantamount to a declaration of war against themselves.

The new military government in Niamey, for its part, has accused ECOWAS of acting at the behest of former colonial ruler France.

Niger’s mines are an important source of uranium for France’s nuclear reactors. Paris has 1,500 soldiers stationed in the country, which the new military rulers want gone.The US has 1,000 military personnel in the country, also declared unwelcome. US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Thursday that it was tracking a new, highly mutated lineage of the virus that causes COVID-19, Reuters reported.

The lineage is named BA.2.86, and has been detected in the United States, Denmark and Israel, the CDC said in a post on messaging platform X (formerly Twitter).

“As we learn more about BA.2.86, CDC’s advice on protecting yourself from COVID-19 remains the same,” the agency said.

The World Health Organization (WHO) earlier on Thursday said in a post on X that it had classified BA.2.86 as a “variant under monitoring” due to the large number of mutations it carries.

(NEXSTAR) – The World Health Organization added a new lineage of the SARS-CoV-2 virus to its Variants Under Monitoring (VUM) category on Thursday, citing a large number of mutations that “warrants attention.”

The lineage, named BA.2.86, has already been identified in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Other cases have been identified in Denmark and Israel.

“More data are needed to understand this #COVID19 variant and the extent of its spread, but the number of mutations warrants attention,” WHO wrote in a message posted to X on Thursday.

United States Marines on Friday “neutralized” a FEMA convoy that fled fire-stricken Lahaina for Haleakalā National Park, a 33,000-acre wilderness and home to the state’s highest peak, Mount Haleakalā, from where FEMA might have escaped had the Marines not downed a helicopter sent to rescue the federal brigands.

The chase began early Friday morning when a Marine platoon and FEMA had a shootout in the Maui Forest Reserve east of Lahaina Beach. Responding to intelligence reports, the Marines caught FEMA red-handed burying corpses in an earthen grave the feds had excavated with a backhoe. A procession of FEMA agents hauled the bodies of men, women, and children out of an M35 “deuce and a Half” cargo truck and heaped them atop one another as federal supervisors stood around smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee.

The Marines had dismounted a distance away and had crept into FEMA’s AO undetected. FEMA, Real Raw News’ source in Gen. Smith’s office would later say, were more interested in cracking insensitive jokes about the dead than posting lookouts to watch for White Hat forces.

The Marines had taken cover in the dense foliage and behind trees before opening fire on federal forces. A dozen feds fell at once, cut down by streams of Marine fire. Some FEMA screamed in terror, “Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! We give up!” while others unholstered pistols or unslung rifles in a desperate but futile effort to return fire. Their shots hit only grass and trees.

The cowardly agents who wouldn’t fight hit the deck and crawled through the foliage to their nearby vehicles, unmarked SUVs and an armored FEMA Mobile Command Center (MBC.) Some found their tires deflated, but a few vehicles survived the assault.

The “Deuce and a Half” driver was shot in the face through the windshield when he keyed the ignition.

A dozen FEMA—and FBI embedded among them—survived the initial onslaught and fled the gunfight in two SUVs and the MBC. Sixteen Marines in four Hummers gave chase, while the remaining Marines remained behind to mop up stragglers and recover the dead civilians at the mass gravesite.

The Marines pursued FEMA northeast along Route 36 to the Route 37 intersection in Kahuli, then southeast along Route 37 toward Pukalani, and, further on, the precarious, swerving road ending at the Haleakalā National Park entrance—a several hours’ drive.

Our source said the Marines did not engage en route due to the risk of endangering civilians.

FEMA dismounted at Kalahaku Overlook, a cliff overlooking the expansive Haleakalā crater, and formed a defensive perimeter around their vehicles as a UH-60 chopper in the distance drew nearer to the bluff.

The Marines, our source said, had requested air support from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, otherwise known as K-Bay, in Oahu, but they were told to expect a gunship, an AH-1Z Viper, not an extraction bird.

The Blackhawk did not respond to the Marines’ radio calls.

FEMA had popped green smoke, universally recognized as “friendly forces ready for extraction.”

As the Blackhawk descended, ready to hover, it was suddenly hit by three grenades fired from a belt-fed MK19 grenade launcher mounted atop a Marine Hummer. One clipped the rotor mast. The second flew into an open door. Smoke and flame engulfed the bird, which tumbled out of the sky and down into Haleakalā crater.

The Viper arrived after the Marines turned the MK19 on FEMA’s MBC. Its armor wasn’t dense enough to survive several direct hits. Anyone inside burned to a crisp, died of smoke inhalation, or turned into minced meat.

The Marines waved off the tardy bird, saying they controlled the situation.

The remaining FEMA agents fell like dominos.

The Marines, our source said, found 113 bodies in the back of the “Deuce and a Half” and at the gravesite.

Later that night, a 737 loaded with FEMA personnel left Kahului Airport, destination unknown.
