Belarusian embassy vandalized in the Netherlands

The building was daubed in graffiti calling President Alexander Lukasheko a “terrorist”

Dutch police have arrested one suspect after the Belarusian embassy in The Hague was vandalized. The building’s windows were smashed and its facade sprayed with graffiti.

A 31-year-old man was arrested outside the embassy on Saturday night, the Omroep West news network reported on Sunday. It is unclear whether anyone else was involved in the vandalism.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident to Sputnik Belarus.

Several windows were smashed and slogans were sprayed onto the building with black and red paint. One read “Luka – Terrorist,” referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while another read “Long live Belarus.”

VoterGA announced today that it is calling on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to unplug the Dominion voting system found by expert witness, Dr. Alex Halderman, to have grossly inadequate security controls. co-founder, Garland Favorito, released a detailed statement to explain the problem and solutions:

“The recently unsealed Halderman Security Analysis explains that the Dominion voting system was not designed, engineered or tested with the necessary security provisions and cannot be retrofitted to satisfactorily include them. We, at VoterGA, have whole-heartedly promoted similar viewpoints for years.

Secretary Raffensperger has misled legislators and county election officials by touting an unsigned Mitre report that was funded by Dominion and produced without access to the voting system. It has been discredited by 29 cyber security experts and computer science professors on grounds that the entire report is based on a ‘ridiculous’ false assumption that all current physical access controls cannot be compromised.

No patch will ensure our voting system is secure because the Secretary continues to fight to keep the paper ballots it produces secret. Our scanners are as unsecure as the Ballot Marking Devices and more dangerous because they control what is tabulated. The Halderman analysis shows our scanners accept photocopied ballots. Evidence shows photocopies were scanned and accepted in 2020 and 2022 elections. We also determined thousands of low-resolution Dominion ballot images were electronically altered prior to the 2020 election certification.

The solution to this problem is to unplug Georgia from the voting system. Voters must cast hand-marked, security grade paper ballots, hand counted in public at polling locations. The Secretary refuses to do this because he purchased the system. That system is unverifiable to the voter and it was declared illegal by the U.S. District Court prior to the 2020 election.

If Secretary Raffensperger continues refusing to unplug this system, the only other solution is to unseal all paper ballots the system has produced and will produce in the future. Publicly available ballots are necessary to verify electronic results and detect counterfeit ballots as soon as results are certified. Therefore, we call upon Secretary Raffensperger to immediately request Superior Courts statewide to unseal all paper ballots for the 2020, 2022, and 2024 elections. Georgians deserves honest proof of secure, transparent elections.”

Socialist Boston City Council Member Wrecks Car With Son Inside While Driving on Suspended License

A Boston City Council member, who hails herself as a socialist Democrat, has been accused of wrecking her car into a home in the Jamaica Plains District while driving uninsured, in an unregistered vehicle and while have her license suspended.

Kendra Lara, who has publicly called for the Democratic party to shift towards Socialism, totaled her Honda Civic when she ran through a metal fence, bushes and proceeded to hit the left side of a Jamaica Plain’s home.

Lara’s 4-year-old son, who was not in a booster seat, was also in the car at the time of the crash and had to be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital to receive several stitches.

A witness to the crash said he was driving at the normal speed limit when he saw Lara’ Civic zoom past him and take a hard left into a house.

Doctors Group Files Federal Lawsuit Against HHS and FDA Over Unlawful Attempt to Ban Ivermectin for COVID Treatment

A group of doctors has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agencies’ unlawful attempts to block the use of ivermectin in treating COVID-19, The Texan reported.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Southern District of Texas in Galveston, argues that the FDA has overstepped its authority and unjustifiably interfered with their medical practice.

The plaintiffs, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter, are contesting the FDA’s portrayal of ivermectin as dangerous for human consumption. They note that the FDA has approved ivermectin for human use since 1996 for a variety of diseases. However, they allege that with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA began releasing documents and social media posts discouraging the use of the anti-viral drug for COVID-19 treatment.

“We’re suing the FDA for lying to the public about ivermectin,” said Dr. Bowden.

U.S. law is cited in the complaint, including the provision that the FDA “may not interfere with the authority of a health care provider to prescribe or administer any legally marked device to a patient for any condition or disease within a legitimate health care practitioner-patient relationship.”

“The cited statements were not directives,” said Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers. “They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin.”

“They use informal language, that is true… It’s conversational but not mandatory,” he continued.

However, the statement from the lawyer contradicted to FDA’s social media post, stating, “Hold your horses, y’all. Ivermectin may be trending, but it still isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.”

CURE OF CANCER DR PERRY NICHOLS

Interesting old leather bound medical book: CANCER IT'S PROPER TREATMENT AND CURE, Escharotic Treatment Founded in 1896 by Perry Nichols, M. D., Dr. Nichols Sanatorium, Savannah, Missouri. Published 1929. It is in good condition with some discoloring and wear to be expected at its age. T is a name written in ink in the front of the book, "Mrs. M. L. Whitten book". It measures 9 1/2 "X 6 1/2". Dr. Nichols was an interesting character who claimed to have found the cure for cancer. The title page of the book: "The Value of ESCHAROTICS, Medicines which will destroy any living or fungus tissue in the treatment of Cancer & Lupus Sarcoma or any other form of malignancy." The first pages of the book have wonderful black and white photos of Dr. Nichols, the directors, doctors and nurses at the sanatorium plus pictures of the rooms and beautiful grounds. Some of the chapter titles are: Cause of Cancer Pathology of Cancer Bad Method of Treatment Vs. Escharotics The Cure of Cancer The majority of the book (pg. 55-267) is devoted to testimonials and references. T is also an expense page at the back with charges for a stay at the sanatorium. $10. PER WEEK or $12 if food was delivered to the room! Plus the fees for treatment which varied from case to case but usually ranging from $25. to $300.!! This is an intriguing old book and a great medical collectible. It was in 1895, at age 32, that Nichols, already a successful farmer and real estate agent, first learned of escharotic treatment of skin cancer from two doctors practicing at an Iowa clinic called the Cherokee Sanatorium. After talking to patients convinced they were cured, Nichols set to work on his own escharotic formula, which he kept secret. In 1896, he spent time working with the same two physicians, and claimed to have treated 40 to 50 patients successfully. By November of that year, he had opened his own practice. Hampered by the lack of a medical degree, he hired a physician in 1897, and pursued his own M.D. degree, which he received from the University of the South-Sewanee in 1901. Sideline becomes main business Nichols moved to South Dakota intending to open a general medical practice. However, his sideline of escharotic cancer treatment quickly became his main business. In 1905 he was recruited to the city of Hot Springs to head an 80-bed sanatorium. In 1911, a branch was opened in Excelsior Springs, Mo., and a year later, Nichols was recruited to Savannah, Mo., a location he liked for its central location, available land, and good transportation, including an interurban railway to bring patients to and from St. Joseph. It was that Nichols' practice thrived, and in 1924, construction was started on a new brick building that had at least 200 beds. Nichols became ill and died of congestive heart failure in August 1925, but the clinic didn't close until 1956.

The 36-page report raises three familiar issues: first, government actors worked with third parties to overturn the First Amendment; second, censors prioritized political narratives over truthfulness; and third, an unaccountable bureaucracy hijacked American society.

CISA’s Collusion to Overturn the First Amendment

The House Report reveals that CISA, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security, worked with social media platforms to censor posts it considered dis-, mis-, or malinformation. Brian Scully, the head of CISA’s censorship team, conceded that this process, known as “switchboarding,” would “trigger content moderation.”

Additionally, CISA funded the nonprofit EI-ISAC in 2020 to bolster its censorship operations. EI-ISAC worked to report and track “misinformation across all channels and platforms.” In launching the nonprofit, the government boasted that it “leverage[d] DHS CISA’s relationship with social media organizations to ensure priority treatment of misinformation reports.”

The switchboard programs directly contradict sworn testimony from CISA Director Jen Easterly. “We don’t censor anything… we don’t flag anything to social media organizations at all,” Esterly told Congress in March. “We don’t do any censorship.” Her statement was more than a lie; it omitted the institutionalization of the practice she denied. The agency’s initiatives relied on a collusive apparatus of private-public partnerships designed to suppress unapproved information.

This should sound familiar.

Alex Berenson gained access to thousands of Twitter communications that uncovered concrete evidence that government actors – including White House Covid Advisor Andy Slavitt – worked to censor him for criticizing Biden’s Covid policies.

An after-action report has blamed the failed evacuation from Kabul on the insistence of both Trump and Biden to quickly end the war

The US State Department released its long-awaited after-action report on the botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan on Friday.

The assessment blamed the snafu primarily on the insistence of Presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden on going ahead with a full military withdrawal. The decision to “end the US military mission in Afghanistan had serious consequences for the viability of the Afghan government and its security,” it stated.

The loss of military “enablers” put Washington’s diplomatic presence in the country at risk, while the departure deadlines set first by the Trump and then the Biden administrations were not accompanied by a sufficiently detailed exit plan, according to the report.

Failure to prepare for disaster scenarios compounded the difficulties. “Crisis preparation and planning” were lacking, the report stated, because the State Department did not want to send the wrong “signals” to its Afghan counterparts. “Anything that might suggest the United States had lost confidence in the Afghan government” was to be avoided lest it “contribute to its collapse,” it explained.

No one, it suggests, could have predicted that the Afghan military– equipped with billions of dollars in US weapons and training – would lay down their arms almost immediately upon confronting the Taliban. They were expected to hold Kabul for “weeks, if not months.”

The report slammed the decision to turn over Bagram Air Base to the Afghan government, pointing out that this left only Hamid Karzai International Airport available for evacuations. A Ukrainian military commander has reportedly raised concerns that light combat tanks supplied to the former Soviet republic by France aren’t suitable for attacks against Russian defensive lines because their thin armor can easily be pierced by artillery shells and other weapons.

Touted earlier this year by Ukrainian DefenseMinister Aleksey Reznikov as a “sniper rifle on fast wheels,” the French AMX-10 RC armored fighting vehicle has proven “impractical” during Kiev’s current counteroffensive against Russian forces, Agence-France Presse (AFP)reported on Sunday. One four-man crew has died because of the tank’s thin armor, which can easily be pierced by Russian weaponry, a Ukrainian battalion commander told the media outlet.

“Unfortunately, there was one case when the crew died in the vehicle,” said the 34-year-old Ukrainian major, whom AFP identified only by his call sign, Spartanets. “There was artillery shelling, and a shell exploded near the vehicle. The fragments pierced the armor, and the ammunition set detonated.”

Reznikov was filmed in April riding in an AMX-10 RC, which was among the Western weaponry rushed to Kiev this spring for a long-awaited counteroffensive that finally began in June. “These fast, modern machines with powerful guns will aid us in liberating our territory,” Reznikov said in a Twitter post thanking French President Emmanuel Macron and Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu. “This is what liberty, equality and brotherhood look like.”

However, Spartanets said the French tanks have proven to be ineffective in front-line assaults. “The guns are good, the observation devices are good, but unfortunately, there is thin armor, and it is impractical to use them in the front line,” he said.

The 20-ton AMX-10 RC travels on wheels, rather than tracks. It was developed in the 1970s for armed reconnaissance and attacks on tanks. The French military is in the process of replacing its fleet of AMX-10 RCs with the more modern EBRC Jaguar.

Thousands of Ukrainian troops have been killed in the counteroffensive, which has failed to breach Russia’s defensive lines.Dozens of Western-supplied armored vehicles have been destroyed, including German-made Leopard tanks and AMX-10 RCs, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The New York Times reported last week that 17 of the 113 Bradley fighting vehicles supplied to Kiev by the US have been damaged or destroyed.
