I worked with an electrician in N.C. back in the early 2000's (~2003) who had done some work for NASCAR prior to that. He swore up and down that NASCAR is run by the mob. This was well before any Q stuff and he was as adamant about NASCAR being run by the mob as anyone here is about Trump being Q+. He claimed some of the driver's that had died up to that point (J.D. McDuffy is one I recall) were taken out intentionally. the Federal Government have been conducting an investigation into government-induced censorship on social media. Although the investigation is ongoing, information obtained to date has revealed that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency(CISA)—an upstart agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—has facilitated the censorship of Americans directly and through third-party intermediaries.

Founded in 2018, CISA wasoriginally intendedto be an ancillary agency designed to protect“critical infrastructure” and guard against cybersecurity threats.3 (And they are failing miserably at both, based on the current attacks on infrastructure and cyber)

In the years since its creation, however,CISA metastasizedinto the nerve center of the federal government’sdomestic surveillance and censorshipoperations on social media.4

By 2020 (Chris Krebbs started this), CISA routinely reported social media posts that allegedly spread “disinformation” to social media platforms.5 By 2021,CISA had a formal “Mis-, Dis-, and Malinformation” (MDM) team.6

In 2022 and 2023, in response to growing public and private criticism of CISA’s unconstitutional behavior,CISA attempted to camouflage its activities,duplicitously claiming it serves a purely “informational” role.7

It then was able to progress and perform more complex tasks "based on a data set of millions of trajectories" from prior tasks and new self-generated data.

"These improvements were due to RoboCat's growing breadth of experience, similar to how people develop a more diverse range of skills as they deepen their learning in a given domain," researchers said.

As RoboCat improved its technique, its new learned behaviors were transferred to other robots that in turn built upon those skills.

The robot fine-tuned its performance on between 100 and 1,000 demonstrations from a human-controlled robotic arm. Spin-off models were then trained on specific tasks and that data was entered in the general instruction pool.

While RoboCat initially achieved a 36% success rate tackling tasks it had not previously learned, it improved its performance over time. Through self-training, its success rate doubled.

"RoboCat learns much faster than other state-of-the-art models," DeepMind researchers said. "It can pick up a new task with as few as 100 demonstrations because it draws from a large and diverse data set."

The development is seen as a major step towards accelerating robotics research, "as it reduces the need for human-supervised training, and is an important step towards creating a general-purpose robot."

The paper, "RoboCat: A Self-Improving Foundation Agent for Robotic Manipulation," was published June 20.

Will such robots eventually dispense with the need for human intervention?

That question was addressed 100 years ago in the 1921 play "R.U.R.: Rossum's Universal Robots," a tale by Czech writer Karel Čapek.

The play imagined a factory that created synthetic humanoids that worked continuously and eventually shrank labor costs by 80%. The word "robot" was used for the first time in this play, after the Czech word "robota," which meant "forced labor by serfs."

In the end, the robots rebelled and extinguished humanity.

RoboCats, we can hope, will be friendlier.

Supreme Court rules against GOP in North Carolina election law case

In its decision Tuesday, the high court declined to embrace the so-called "independent state legislature" theory, which Republicans argued limits state courts from being able to strike down some election laws.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled against North Carolina Republicans, who were fighting for a congressional map that would be in their favor.

The justices ruled 6-3, withChief Justice John Roberts and Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett siding with the court's three liberal members.

The U.S. Supreme Court sided with the North Carolina Supreme Court, which had concluded that the district map constituted a partisan gerrymander.

In its decision Tuesday, the high court declined to embrace the so-called "independent state legislature" theory, which Republicans argued limits state courts from being able to strike down some election laws.

The Supreme Court has made decisions against state legislatures in two other cases involving congressional maps this year in Louisiana and Alabama. However, those cases involved minority voting districts, rather than the power of state courts.
