Biden Whistleblower Tara Reade Files Urgent Appeal with United Nations in a Bid to Protect Her Liberty and Safety Against Biden Regime

“Ms. Reade was in the process of working with a member of the US House Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Government to provide testimony. She was tipped that her arrest in the US or a third country was imminent and that her safety could not be guaranteed. Other Biden whistleblowers have fled the country or are currently in hiding,” he added.

To protect her liberty and safety, she has now turned to the UN for support. Her attorney, Dr. Jonathan Levy, has submitted an urgent appeal to the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression.

Summary

The transition from the RNA to the DNA world was a major event in the history of life. The invention of DNA required the appearance of enzymatic activities for both synthesis of DNA precursors, retro-transcription of RNA templates and replication of singleand double-stranded DNA molecules. Recent data from comparative genomics, structural biology and traditional biochemistry have revealed that several of these enzymatic activities have been invented independently more than once, indicating that the transition from RNA to DNA genomes was more complex than previously thought. The distribution of the different protein families corresponding to these activities in the three domains of life (Archaea, Eukarya, and Bacteria) is puzzling. In many cases, Archaea and Eukarya contain the same version of these proteins, whereas Bacteria contain another version. However, in other cases, such as thymidylate synthases or type II DNA topoisomerases, the phylogenetic distributions of these proteins do not follow this simple pattern. Several hypotheses have been proposed to explain these observations, including independent invention of DNA and DNA replication proteins, ancient gene transfer and gene loss, and/or nonorthologous replacement. We review all of them here, with more emphasis on recent proposals suggesting that viruses have played a major role in the origin and evolution of the DNA replication proteins and possibly of DNA itself.

The J6 Committee’s Actions Highlight Partisan Abuse of the Rules

McCarthy characterized the degree to which the Jan. 6 Committee flagrantly violated long-entrenched House protocol and rules to support its partisan political agenda as “unprecedented” and “an egregious abuse of power.” However, when the rules violations have been challenged, courts have concluded that they were bound by the House’s own interpretation and application of its rules and had to yield to the BLAG as the official advocacy voice of the House. Since BLAG endorsed the Jan. 6 Committee’s actions by a 3-2 vote, their rules violations were permitted with impunity, notwithstanding the express language of the House rules.

McCarthy must now convene the BLAG, as he has the full authority to do, to reverse its partisan political perversion by Pelosi and company, and to return the House to a body that at least honors its own rules, without regard to a politically expedient agenda of the day.

The following examples of the Jan. 6 Committee’s abuse of House protocol and rules demonstrate why we should care and why McCarthy must act now.

First, the House resolution creating the Jan. 6 Committee called for it to be comprised of 13 members, five of whom were to be selected in consultation with then-House Minority Leader McCarthy. Despite McCarthy’s public protestations, Pelosi summarily rejected McCarthy’s selections for the committee. McCarthy then refused to participate in a process that violated the rules, and the committee went forward with nine members instead of the 13 provided for in the resolution creating it. Pelosi’s partisan political selections for the committee undermined its integrity.

Second, the committee abused its authority regarding witnesses called to testify, in violation of the resolution establishing it and House rules and regulations. These important rules require consultation between a committee’s chair and its ranking minority member before a witness can be subpoenaed to give sworn testimony. Under long-standing party rules and House protocol, a committee’s ranking minority member is chosen by the House minority leader. Her or his purpose is to protect a witness from abusive partisan subpoenas and from abusive questioning during a deposition.

The Jan. 6 Committee had no ranking minority member as a matter of law. Some have tried to claim Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., was the ranking minority member, but this is expressly contradicted by the unequivocal statement by Committee Chair Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., that Cheney definitely was not the ranking minority member (as you can see at the 16:37 mark at the committee’s first hearing). The committee had none.

Under House rules and the Jan. 6 Committee resolution, without a ranking minority member, the committee had no valid subpoena authority. The rules deem the protection of subpoenaed witnesses to be so important that unless each witness called to testify is given a copy of Rule 3(b), which explains the committee’s deposition authority, the committee cannot compel a witness to testify. The Jan. 6 Committee failed to give key witnesses a copy of the rule.

Chairman Wenstrup: On June 21, 2021, [Biden] stated, "If you are vaccinated, you're not going to be hospitalized. You are not going to be in the Intensive Care Unit. You are not going to die." By that date, were there vaccinated Americans that were hospitalized?

Walensky: What I can tell you is, at the time, CDC was releasing increasing data showing the immense protection of vaccines against severe disease, hospitalization, and death.

Wenstrup: But by that date, were there vaccinated Americans that were hospitalized?

Walensky: Maybe I will say this- we still, to this day, do not have data on people who are coming ito the hospitals who are vaccinated. That is a data point that we have lacked.

The BLAG Process Must Not Be Abused for Partisan Political Purposes

In order to formally endorse the committee’s clear violations of express House rules and established protocol, Pelosi convened the BLAG and secured a 3-2 vote along strictly partisan lines, authorizing House counsel to file a brief in federal court in Washington, D.C., advising the court that the House’s official position to which the court must yield was that the committee must be deemed to have fully complied with the rules, notwithstanding the actual language of the rules, because the Democratic Party-controlled BLAG so voted, albeit 3-2 on partisan party lines.

The text of the rules and historical House protocol were rendered meaningless. Pelosi and her cronies successfully argued, through the BLAG, that courts must yield to what the political party in power at the time in the House says House rules mean, regardless of the harm caused to the rights of individual Americans and to the institutional integrity of this constitutionally critical branch of government. The courts so far have yielded to that BLAG position.

McCarthy Can and Must Restore Institutional Integrity

McCarthy has spoken loudly and in compelling terms about the grave damage done to the integrity of the House by the composition of the Jan. 6 Committee, its disregard for the rules and protocol, and the damage the BLAG’s actions did in arguing in favor of the committee’s perversion of the rules and protocol.

McCarthy has it well within his power to easily remedy the matter and restore the integrity of House rules and the institution itself. This depends on having rules and protocols that are applied evenly and consistently and are not violated with impunity simply to serve a partisan political agenda.

He can and must convene the BLAG and make it clear through that legal voice of the House that the earlier 3-2 BLAG vote endorsing the perversion of the rules and protocol no longer is valid and cannot continue to speak for the House. The BLAG must identify the rules and protocol violations committed by the Jan. 6 Committee about which McCarthy so adamantly complained, and the BLAG must set the record straight as to the procedural safeguards that the rules provide with respect to committee actions.

Committees must not be allowed to run roughshod over the rights of Americans called to testify. Moreover, every one of us has a direct stake in the integrity of committee investigations on important matters of public interest. The House must ensure that the institutional integrity of the House has been restored and that our individual rights matter and are not to be violated by our elected representatives to serve their partisan political purposes. Only then can we be true to the fundamental American principle of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

US immigration officials deport MS-13 gang member wanted in El Salvador for murder

U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement have deported a confirmed MS-13 gang member who is wanted in El Salvador for murder.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Philadelphia removed Jose Benedicto Mojica Aldana on Friday.

The agency said Mojica entered the U.S. on an unknown date and at an unknown location without inspection or parole.

ICE agents arrested Mojica near a residence in Annapolis, Maryland on June 15, 2022, and transferred him to a detention facility in Cambridge, Maryland.

ERO Baltimore served Mojica a notice to appear on June 19, 2022, charging him with inadmissibility. Later that summer he was transferred to the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.

Last December, an immigration judge ordered Mojica to be deported back to El Salvador. Mojica filed an appeal in January, which the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed three months later.

"Jose Mojica is a wanted fugitive and member of the notorious street gang MS-13. He is exactly the type of noncitizen that ERO works every day to remove from our country," ERO Philadelphia Field Office Director Cammilla Wamsley said in a statement. "Enforcement and Removal Operations exists to remove dangerous noncitizens who flout our laws and threaten the safety of the American public."

10 U.S. Code § 7102 - Congressional notification of significant Army force structure changes

(a) Notification Required.—

Except as provided in subsection (c), the Secretary of the Army shall submit to the congressional defense committees written notification of any decision to make a significant change to Army force structure prior to implementing or announcing such change.

(b) Contents.—A notification required under subsection (a) shall include each of the following:

(1) The justification for the planned change.

(2) A description of the details of the planned change and timing for implementation.

(3) A description of the operational implications of the planned change.

(4) The estimated costs of such change.

(c) Exception.—

The notification requirement under subsection (a) shall not apply if the Secretary of Defense certifies to the congressional defense committees in advance that the planned Army force structure change must be implemented immediately for reasons of military urgency.

(d) Definition of Significant Change to Army Force Structure.—In this section, the term “significant change to Army force structure” means—

(1) a change in the number, type, or component of brigade-level organizations or higher-echelon headquarters;

(2) a change in the number or component of theater-level capabilities, such as a multi-domain task force, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, long range fires unit, or headquarters; or

(3) a permanent or temporary activation or inactivation of an experimental unit or brigade-size or higher task force.

San Francisco man sentenced for terrorizing women after cases initially dismissed

After years of judges dismissing cases against him, a San Francisco man was sentenced for stalking and harassing women in what authorities called a "pattern of predatory behavior."

Bill Gene Hobbs, 34, will serve two-and-a-half years in county jail then three years in state prison, and have to register as a sex offender. Hobbs, who had been accused of stalking, groping and chasing women, was convicted of felony false imprisonment, eight counts of misdemeanor battery, sexual battery and assault in May.

Hobbs interrupted one victim who spoke during his sentencing on Thursday, telling her to "get over yourself," The San Francisco Chronicle reported.

"Mr. Hobbs sentence today delivers justice to the victims and shows how seriously the court took this case and each one of their stories," District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a June 8 statement. "Because of the brave testimony of the victims and their willingness to share their stories we were able to demonstrate a clear pattern of predatory behavior and the full impact of his criminal conduct on the victims. This sentence brings us one step closer to achieving our goal of public safety."

Hobbs had six priors in San Francisco dating back to 2017 — each of which had been dismissed "in the interest of the public," according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

Two years prior to Hobbs' conviction, a judge dismissed a case accusing him of stalking a 15-year-old girl.

Hobbs, who stands 6 feet, 4 inches and has the word "EVIL" tattooed across four fingers on one hand, was accused of following the girl for half an hour, grabbing her and telling her they belonged together. She reportedly ran to hide inside a bookshop, where she called her father for help, according to a 2021 report from The San Francisco Chronicle.

"The guy’s a predator," the girl's father, Blaise Zerega, told the Chronicle at the time.

He recalled the moment Hobbs was arrested outside the bookstore after the incident involving his daughter. The suspect had screamed, "I’m going to f— you up!" in Zerega's face.

Hobbs' public defender, Nitin Sapra, told the outlet at the time that a different judge had deemed Hobbs incompetent to stand trial and denied pretrial release for the suspect.

In the years since, more women came forward against Hobbs, accusing him of stalking, harassment and assault.

One victim, Karina S., who read a statement aloud in court on Thursday, said Hobbs followed her while she was jogging through Golden Gate Park, "smiling like a Cheshire cat, staring me down as I was screaming to get away," according to the Chronicle. She said the encounter "completely changed her life," and she has since had to get a guard dog and pepper spray.

Hobbs reportedly interrupted the victim as she read her statement in court, saying, "It was not an assault!"

"Someone tapped you on the shoulder, and it ruined your life! Wow, get over yourself!" he said, according to the Chronicle. He added later when the victim said Hobbs treated her like a piece of prey: "I’m a vegetarian!"

Assistant District Attorney Brittney Delgado said in a Thursday statement that the case "demonstrated the importance of reporting illegal conduct to the police, no matter how unlikely catching a perpetrator may seem to a particular victim at the time."

"It was because of the individual efforts on the part of these victims to capture photos of the defendant in real time that the investigations were able to be linked together to show that these were not isolated incidents and were in fact a predatory pattern against young women, perpetuated and carried out in deliberate manner against vulnerable, unsuspecting victims," she said.
