• The reissuance of DoD Directive 5240.01 repealed previous versions, including the 1982 DoD 5240.1-R.

• The update is routine, but the specific changes are very noteworthy being that we’re so close to the election.

• The changes specifically mention the authorization of LETHAL FORCE in domestic operations, working in tandem with local authorities..

This is hitting all kinds of Q drops.. #34 in particular.

In the 2016 version, the directive primarily focused on intelligence collection and ensuring civil liberties protections…

The Sept 2024 version just updated expands the military's role, particularly in assisting civil law enforcement, and authorizes lethal force under specific conditions, raising questions about its use during potential civil unrest surrounding the election.

—— Section 3.3.a.(2)(c) now explicitly permits lethal force in cases of imminent threats or national security emergencies, provided the action complies with legal oversight.

At a Glance

Many in the U.S. are expected to be warmer than average this winter.

That's particularly the case from the South to the Mid-Atlantic states.

The exception is most likely to be in the Northwest, but also over parts of the Northern Plains.

A potential La Niña is one factor behind this outlook.

W​inter will generally be warmer than usual across much of the United States, with a few exceptions, according to an outlook released Thursday by The Weather Company and Atmospheric G2.

The overall picture: Above-average temperatures are expected from the Southwest to the Southern Plains, eastern Great Lakes and East Coast from December 2024 through February 2025.

The exception to this mild winter is expected to be in the Northwest - including Washington, Oregon and Idaho - east into parts of the Northern Plains, where winter temperatures may run slightly below average.

L​et's examine each of the next three months in more detail.

December: While our outlook shown below is at least somewhat warmer than usual for most of the country, December may have some colder tricks up its sleeve.

A​t least a weak La Niña, a periodic cooling of eastern equatorial Pacific Ocean water, is expected, which can have some influence on the overall weather pattern in the U.S.

Past Decembers tended to skew colder in parts of the Midwest and Northeast during weak or moderate La Niñas, not just in the Northwest and Northern Plains, according to Todd Crawford, Vice President of Meteorology at Atmospheric G2.

S​o this represents a colder risk to the forecast below as winter kicks off.

January: There isn't much change in our outlook for the first month of 2025.

A​ warmer January looks to be a safe bet from the Rio Grande Valley to the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

O​nce again, the best chance of a colder than usual month will be from the Pacific Northwest to North Dakota and northern Minnesota.

But that doesn't mean there won't be cold outbreaks in this overall milder month.

A​s AG2's Todd Crawford pointed out, the nation's record warmest winter in 2023-24 still featured a significant cold outbreak in mid-January. In fact, last January was colder than average from the central and Southern Plains into the Tennessee Valley.

February: We may see a sharper east-west or northwest-southeast temperature divide take shape by February.

W​hile much of the East is likely to be warmer than usual, the Northwest is likely to be cold in February, and other locations from the Great Basin to the Northern Plains may also be shivering more than typical during the month.

T​his general picture is what past weak or moderate La Niñas have often produced in February, according to Crawford.

The United States has changed its program to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets, adding “younger cadets” with no prior flight experience, the Wall Street Journal has cited unnamed officials as saying.

“It is a mix. Some have been experienced pilots, and we still are receiving more experienced pilots. But there’s also those that do not have that kind of pilot training and experience,” one of the officials said.

The decision to refocus the training on the cadets rather than experienced air force members may extend the timeline in when the Kiev regime could start to operate a full squadron of F-16s on the battlefield "by many months”, according to the sources.

They argued that even before the decision was taken, Ukraine would hardly have 20 F-16s and 40 pilots to operate them until spring or summer next year at the earliest.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s cabinet has unveiled a collaborative scheme with American pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly to the tune of £279 million ($477.5 million) to distribute weight loss medicines, like Ozempik, to all unemployed people. The proclaimed goal is to deal with excess weight, reduce the burden on healthcare and get people back to the job market.

Ozempic has become a popular weight loss drug, which has reportedly been used by Western celebrities from Oprah Winfrey to Kylie Jenner. Earlier, the Daily Mail wrote that Ozempic and similar drugs for rapid weight loss have caused 162 deaths in the US since 2018. CNN, citing a recent study, reported that people who take Ozempic are 45% more likely to have suicidal thoughts.

Eli Lilly boasted a net worth of $822.38 billion as of October 16, 2024, and is set to rake in profits. What’s wrong with this company?

🌏In 2009, Lilly agreed to plead guilty and pay $1.415 billion for promoting its drug Zyprexa for uses not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This resolution included a criminal fine of $515 million - the largest ever in a healthcare case at the time.

🌏Problems in tracking the manufacturing process and quality control were discovered at an Eli Lilly plant in New Jersey by the US Food and Drug Administration in July 2024.

Starmer is betting that the new generation of Ozempic-like weight-loss drugs might help to solve the problems his government is facing.

🔶There is an acute obesity crisis in the UK, with 64% of adults overweight or obese in 2022, according to a release by Health Survey for England.

🔶Britain’s healthcare system is overwhelmed, with one in 20 patients forced to wait at least four weeks to see a GP, NHS figures show. 7.62 million patients were on the waiting list to see a doctor as of July 2024.

🔶Starmer wants Britons to be brought into the labor market, as around 83% of the 3.2 million working-age people are on health benefits.

▪️Titanium: The country has about 7% of the recorded world reserves of titanium ores; annual output stood at 5,400 tons.

▪️Lithium: Ukraine holds close to 500,000 tons of lithium oxide, a source of lithium; it makes the country’s lithium reserves one of the largest in the world.

▪️Graphite: Ukraine produced 5,200 tons of graphite in previous years, accounting for 0.5% of global production.

“They’re sitting on $10 to $12 trillion of critical minerals in Ukraine,” Republican Senator Lindsey Graham stated earlier, adding that he doesn’t want “to give that money and those assets to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to share with China.”

Guard forces, accompanied by military intelligence personnel, were
