-Turley says the use of John Huber gives the IG the prosecutor he needs to bring charges and seek indictments. (No need to go through RR which is critical)

-Huber is conducting a full-fledged criminal investigation into all the matters Republicans are calling for a special counsel to investigate.

-Huber has been investigating these possible crimes for five months (Now seven), since November 2017.

-By giving the IG a prosecutor they can now go after the deep state without looking like a political witch hunt. This is critical.

-Sessions informed Congress in his letter that all the matters recommended for investigation by Goodlatte, Gowdy, and Grassley are “fully within the scope of [Huber’s] existing mandate.” He also informed the chairmen that Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who is working with Huber, has a staff of 470 investigators, giving Huber access to enormous investigative firepower that far exceeds the staff of any special counsel. Maniac hijacks Georgia commuter bus with 17 on board, fatally shoots hostage during wild police chase

A passenger was shot and killed after a gunman hijacked a commuter bus in downtown Atlanta with 17 people on board and held a gun to the bus driver’s head, according to police.

Atlanta police received three separate 911 calls beginning 4:30 p.m. that a man was holding hostages on a Gwinnett County Transit bus near 45 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard and that shots had been fired — but the call immediately cut out.

Responding officers saw 39-year-old Joseph Grier holding a gun to the bus driver’s head as the suspect forced him to start driving, sparking a wild police chase.

The bus crashed into several cars as it wove in and out of traffic, including a Gwinnett County patrol cruiser, while Georgia State Patrol cruisers pursued.

Aerial footage showed the bus barreling down the highway as other panicked drivers tried to get out of the way.

At one point, all lanes of the interstate were shut down as officers employed several different tactics to try to stop the bus.

In a desperate attempt to stop the bus, police appeared to try a “PIT” maneuver that was unsuccessful, 11alive reported.

The bus was finally disabled with the use of spike strips, cops said.

It came to a stop roughly 20 miles away in Tucker off Hugh Howell Road between Deer Ridge Drive and Rosser Road.

Passengers could be seen exiting the bus with their hands in the air. First responders immediately began performing CPR on a victim whom Greer had shot during the mayhem.

The bus took off from downtown Atlanta around 4:30 p.m. WSBTV

The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to a local hospital, where they died, police said.

Greer was taken into custody and charges are pending.

Dennis Durham told WSBTV he was coming out of Gusto on Hugh Howell in Tucker when a car in front of him suddenly went in reverse to try to avoid the bus and slammed into the front of his vehicle.

“Here comes the bus right in front of us and just knocked through a lot of these cars and made them hit each other,” Durham said. “I saw so many police cars in so many different areas my head was swimming.”

One man told the outlet that his wife was one of the passengers on the bus. Greer appeared to be mentally ill, she said.

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said Greer has 19 prior arrests, including for possession of a handgun.

In the end, Hunter Biden and his army of pricey lawyers got tripped up by their own arrogance and overconfidence.

In Joe Biden’s home state, where the Biden name is feared and the Biden family has been royalty for 50 years, a jury of 12 ordinary Delawareans sitting in a courthouse in Wilmington judged the evidence honestly, ignored the intimidating presence of the first lady and found the president’s son guilty on all three felony gun charges.

For once, a Biden has been held accountable, although the gun charges were the least serious of the crimes considered by investigators in the troubled five-year financial probe of Hunter in Delaware.

The first son now faces a felony tax fraud trial in California in September but even there, the charges just skim the surface of the evidence and the links to Joe Biden’s corruption that investigators were blocked from pursuing.

Can’t cover it up

Hunter, 54, assumed his father’s power would protect him, as it has all his life.

But he could have avoided the jury’s verdict and the collateral damage to his father’s presidential campaign if only he had accepted for once some minimal responsibility for his wrongdoing, if he had not instructed his lawyers to demand blanket immunity and threaten prosecutors with “career suicide.”

Hunter still has not admitted ownership of the laptop that formed the backbone of the prosecution case as Government Exhibit 16.

That’s the same laptop Joe Biden lied about when he told the American people before the 2020 election that it was a “Russian plant,” the same laptop that the “Dirty 51” former intelligence officials lied was Russian disinformation, the same laptop that Facebook and Twitter tried to hide by censoring the New York Post.

They went to such lengths because they knew that what was on that laptop was so detrimental to candidate Biden that it would cost him the election.

Now they refuse to admit their lies because that would mean admitting that they interfered with that election.

But now that the evidence has been laid bare in court about Hunter’s chaotic, crack-addicted life during his father’s vice presidency, it is impossible for the president’s protectors to avoid the truth of why the Chinese and Ukrainians paid his son millions of dollars.

They weren’t paying for Hunter’s business acumen.

They were paying for his father’s favor.

Whistleblowers win

There would have been no guilty verdict, no gun trial, no indictment on tax fraud, and not even last year’s ill-fated sweetheart plea deal if two IRS whistleblowers had not risked their livelihoods to do the right thing.

For IRS Supervisory Agent Gary Shapley, it was a bitter irony to hear special counsel David Weiss thanking Attorney General Merrick Garland Tuesday for giving him the “independence” to pursue the investigation into Hunter.

That independence only came after Shapley and his fellow IRS whistleblower Joe Ziegler lawfully told Congress last year about the obstruction and slow-walking of the investigation under then-Delaware US Attorney Weiss. Garland testified to Congress that Weiss had full authority to pursue charges against Hunter, but that wasn’t the case.

Weiss passively allowed Biden appointees in California and Washington, DC, to refuse to partner with Delaware to bring charges, and then he allowed the statute of limitations to run out on the most serious allegations from 2014 and 2015.

Only when Shapley and Ziegler blew the whistle did Weiss and Hunter’s lawyers stitch together an absurdly generous plea deal that fell apart under the scrutiny of an honest judge in Delaware.

Only then did Garland grant Weiss the independence of special counsel status so he could do damage control.

Shapley and Ziegler went back to Congress again after Hunter testified to the Biden impeachment inquiry in February, providing the House Ways and Means Committee with evidence that the first son lied under oath at least three times.

Their evidence formed the basis for a criminal referral to the DOJ last week by House Republicans recommending the prosecution of Hunter and his uncle James Biden for lying to Congress. Another test for Garland.

‘The right thing’

“This is what happens when people do the right thing,” said Shapley of Tuesday’s guilty verdict.

“This is what happens when you shine light on the darkness. But it shouldn’t have required two people to risk their livelihoods.”

Hunter’s tax trial in September, just weeks before the election, poses a greater political risk to the president because the indictment includes evidence from 2014 and 2015, which covers the Burisma years when Hunter was paid $1 million a year by the corrupt Ukrainian energy company while his father was vice ­president.

It covers Joe ordering the Ukrainian government to fire the honest Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma.

The pressure on Hunter to take a plea deal will be enormous.

The president will likely spin Hunter’s gun conviction as a testament to his own integrity and humble acceptance of the jury verdict, in contrast to Donald Trump’s complaint that he is the victim of a two-tiered justice system.

But nobody buys Joe’s claim that he will not use his power to pardon his son. If his presidency has taught us anything, it is that his “word as a Biden” is ­worthless.

Listen up, Joe Biden.

You, too, you college antisemites who drape yourselves in keffiyehs and pledge allegiance to Hamas terrorists.

The devil in Gaza has spoken, and the whole world must pay attention.

Yahya Sinwar says the deaths of tens of thousands of his fellow Palestinians are “necessary sacrifices.”

He also boasts that “We have the Israelis right where we want them.”

Got that, stooges?

Now you know why Israelis say Hamas is a death cult. Because it is.

Sinwar is the psychopath who masterminded the Oct. 7 Hamas invasion of Israel and his words, contained in messages obtained by The Wall Street Journal, show he has no more regard for Palestinian civilians than he does for Jewish civilians.

The way he sees it, the more dead on both sides, the better.

Everyone is cannon fodder in service to his idea of the greatest good, which is to wipe Israel off the map.

His is not a war over boundaries or religious sites or settler grievances.

He aims for nothing short of the elimination of all Israelis.

Genocide is Hamas’ sole purpose for being.

Sinwar’s words convict him as a savage whose death will make the world a better place.

They show there can be no peace as long as he lives.

Which is why it is madness for Biden to join the calls for an immediate cease-fire. Israel, as the victim of a never-ending string of terror attacks that culminated in the bestiality of Oct. 7, must be allowed to finish the job, which means finishing Sinwar and what remains of Hamas’ leadership.

In one sense, the Journal discovery confirms what many have long known about Hamas’ leaders.

Israelis, whose generosity and doctors saved Sinwar’s life two decades ago, are all too familiar with his bloodlust.

That’s why there is overwhelming public support for the government’s vow to eliminate him and other leaders as part of a strategy to make it impossible for terrorists to ever again control Gaza.

Palestinian civilians know all about Sinwar, too.

They have lived under the gun since Hamas seized power in 2007 and watched as opponents were executed, often after being tortured.

Civilians also watched as billions in foreign aid were stolen by Sinwar and other kleptocrats, some of whom live in luxury in Qatar.

And they witnessed much of the remaining aid, including construction material, being diverted from civilian use to build the tunnel complex where Hamas hides with its weapons and money.

Many of those civilians joined Hamas and some joyfully participated in the October atrocities.

Others, such as the so-called journalist who housed three of the Israeli hostages rescued last week, were just as guilty as if they had murdered and raped their way through the kibbutz communities.

WH can’t spin out of this

But the burden of reacting to Sinwar’s messages falls heaviest on the White House.

It can no longer hide from the fact that his game plan has been the same for years: attack Israel, hide Hamas terrorists and weapons in private homes, schools and mosques, then wait for global public opinion to demand that Israel stop its counterattack before the leadership is killed.

Then, after a pause, repeat the whole bloody scenario again and again.

If 1,000 or 5,000 or 10,000 civilians are killed, Sinwar never blinks.

The only thing that matters is that the cause of wiping out the Jews survives.

Now that the world sees his depravity, America’s failed strategy in the region must give way to a smarter approach.

The first thing to be scrapped is a budding Biden plan to negotiate with Hamas over the fate of five American citizens among the remaining hostages in Gaza.

The talks, conducted through Qatar officials, would not include Israel and would happen only if the stalemate between Israel and the terrorists continues.

Talk about stupidity.

The fall-back plan is an invitation for Hamas to break off talks with Israel and draw America deeper into the mess, with the aim of further restraining Israel and running out the clock.

This is what Sinwar meant when he said recently that “we have the Israelis right where we want them.”

He meant bogged down in negotiations, with America threatening to withdraw support if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn’t knuckle under to its peacenik ideas.

Unfortunately, Biden is all too willing to play the fool. Alarmed by his falling poll numbers, especially among young voters in swing states, he has repeatedly tightened the screws on Israel in hopes of ending the war and salvaging a second term.

Indeed, his entire approach has been a disaster.

His refusal to confront Iran over its role as the chief paymaster and strategist of Hamas, as well as Hezbollah and the Houthis, has reduced him to pressuring Israel into compromises Netanyahu believes threaten its survival.

Biden, along with Britain and others in Europe, also tipped their hands that they want Netanyahu defeated in the next election.

The result is that Hamas feels emboldened and knows that time is on its side.

The fact that Sinwar sees Palestinian civilian deaths as signs of success underscores why negotiations have been fruitless.

Now that there can be no doubt that Israel faces a monster, Biden must take the handcuffs off of Netanyahu.

Anything less opens the door for Sinwar’s goal of endless bloodshed.

Butcher’s betrayal

File this one under no good deed goes unpunished.

The story of how Israeli doctors saved Yahya Sinwar’s life in 2004 is brilliantly recounted by Judith Miller in Tablet magazine.

She writes that he was nicknamed the “Butcher of Khan Yunis” and was arrested in 1988 for planning the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and the murder of four Palestinians he believed were collaborators.

He was convicted and given four life sentences.

Sixteen years later, in 2004, a prison doctor concluded that Sinwar’s many ailments were caused by a potentially fatal brain tumor.

After surgery, Sinwar returned to the prison where, Miller writes, he thanked the doctor “and the rest of the prison medical staff for having saved his life — in excellent Hebrew.”

Sinwar was released in an exchange deal in 2011, one of more than 1,000 Israeli-held prisoners swapped for the return of a single Israeli soldier who had been abducted, Gilad Shalit.

Hunter’s pardoner in chief

My prediction: President Biden will break his pledge not to pardon son Hunter.

The only question is under what circumstances will the president wipe away Hunter’s conviction on three federal gun charges.

One potential avenue is that if Biden loses in November, he will act during his lame-duck period.

At that point, few people will care or blame him.

Another option is that a Biden victory in November would give him more time to break the promise.

The criticism would be louder, but so what?

In this case, victory and defeat both have their privileges.

NYC father left behind ‘manifesto’ claiming family ridicule over failed store led him to fatally shoot brother, himself: cops

The father of three who fatally shot his brother inside the family’s Queens home before killing himself snapped after his family ridiculed him over financial shortcomings and his failed grocery store, cops said Tuesday.

Karamjit Multani left a “detailed, prolonged text message” that officials described as a “manifesto” about ongoing tension in the family before he shot his 27-year-old brother Vipanpal Multani Saturday night nine times in the tragic murder-suicide.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said Karamjit Multani sent a message to his wife before the shooting, describing the “abuse” he suffered allegedly at the hands of his brother, father and mother, who was wounded during the shooting.

“There was some indication that he made his son a sheikh [religious title] where apparently the only person supposed to do that is the eldest male in the family, which would have been the father,” Kenny explained Tuesday.

“But they were fighting about that and fighting about financial problems and fighting about the preferential treatment he felt his brother was getting because he was more successful.”

The turmoil took a deadly turn after the family’s patriarch gifted both of his sons money and property so they could start their own businesses, Kenny said.

Vipanpal Multani started a deli in Valley Stream that was a success while his murderous brother attempted to open a grocery store in Indiana that failed “miserably” and went bankrupt.

“A lot of tension between him and a brother over snide comments about how he’s a failure,” Kenny said. “The father’s giving him a hard time about the store not being successful out of Indiana.”

The night before the shooting, the father told his killer son he wanted him out of the house, leading Karamjit Multani to put his wife and three kids on a plane back to Indiana.

And then while the family was having dinner on Saturday, an argument broke out leading everyone to go their separate ways before gunshots rattled the South Richmond Hill neighborhood.

“The 27-year-old brother goes to his room to go to sleep where the shooter comes in, begins to shoot him with two pistols,” Kenny said, adding, “The father comes into the room, manages to grab one pistol from the shooter. Mom throws herself on top of her 27-year-old son while he’s still shooting as she gets shot.”

Karamjit Multani then fled from the house and ran down the street before he died by suicide.

“We have him on video removing his turban and shoots himself one time in the head, killing himself,” Kenny said. “As he’s running he drops the gun picks it up has an accidental discharge, runs once a few more steps, stops and just shoots himself in the head.”

Vipanpal Multani was shot nine times, including four times in the torso and once in the chest and chin, police said. The mother was shot in the arm and torso, and rushed to the hospital.

While police said the shooting stemmed from simmering acrimony, a family friend, Mandeep, told The Post Tuesday murder-suicide was “out of the blue.”

Family and friends were seen coming and going from the house as they were ushered in a Rolls Royce SUV .

Neighbors were also left stunned, describing the family as “super quiet.”

“That’s why we can’t believe [it]. They looked nice,” Zah, who only have her first name, said of the two brothers.

Another neighbor, Gina Fernandez, 35, she used to see Karamjit playing outside with his three kids and noted the two siblings appeared to be close.

“We never heard the brothers fighting,” she added. “They’re always together so I don’t know what happened. They’re the best brothers, you know, hang out together…They were nice persons. All of them.”

The grieving father previously told CBS 2 he wasn’t sure what sparked the shooting.

“Not big problems,” he said when asked about if the two brothers had issues. “Sometimes little disagreements, no problems.”

More Republican state officials are calling on Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell to investigate the “pay to play” allegations involving the Hobbs administration and Sunshine Residential Homes.

Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, has already opened an investigation triggered by a letter from Senate President Pro Tempore T.J. Shope after the Arizona Republic story broke with the allegations that the group home company got better daily pay rates per child after donating around $400,000 to Hobbs’ campaign, inaugural fund, and the state Democratic Party.

Mitchell, a Republican, also said she may open an investigation after the Auditor General’s office reached out to her.

“As the Treasurer of Arizona, I am responsible for overseeing, safekeeping, and managing the State of Arizona’s securities and investments, which are duties I take seriously. Arizona taxpayers need financial accountability and deserve to know how their money is being spent,” Treasurer Kimberly Yee, a Republican, stated.

“Providing state dollars to political donors is a grave misuse of public funds. ‘Pay to play’ and special favors have no place in state government.”

Yee said Mayes wrongfully asserted that she has singular control over any investigation.

“I have requested a separate investigation to be conducted by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office,” Yee said.

“The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has separate jurisdiction in this matter and the current investigation by the Attorney General’s Office raises concerns of potential ethical conflicts of interest in representing state agencies and officials involved in the alleged scheme.”

In response, the Attorney General said that it’s the role of the state to look into the allegations.

“As with any other investigation our office conducts, we will follow the facts wherever they lead us. As with everything else we do, we are also fully cognizant of our ethical obligations and have taken appropriate measures to protect the interests of all concerned, including directing the Department of Child Services to obtain outside counsel in this matter,” Mayes wrote.

“Finally, I will note that while you are certainly always welcome to express your personal concerns to me, nothing about the matters Sen. Shope has asked us to investigate are remotely related to any of your statutory duties as set out by [state law].”

Rep. David Livingston, R-Peoria, took it a step further saying that Mayes should recuse herself from the case, saying that she has clearly benefited from Arizona Democratic Party funding before and said she did not handle a previous complaint from him regarding Hobbs’ use of “public resources” prior to taking office.

“Your conflict of interest and mishandling of my complaint warrants your recusal from investigating the pay-to-play scandal because it likewise stems from Governor Hobbs’ unprecedented inaugural fundraising and political donations to the ADP. You have already proven that you will shield both the Democrat Governor and your own party from any liability,” Livingston wrote.

The Center Square reported on Monday that Mayes is asking Mitchell to not conduct her own process to avoid “parallel investigations.”

Hobbs refused to answer questions about the allegations during a media availability on Tuesday morning, including when The Center Square asked if she would comply with both Mayes and Mitchell in the event they both investigate.

In an email to reporters on Monday, the Attorney General’s office said they would not be responding to Livingston’s letter.

House panel advances contempt resolution against AG Merrick Garland, setting up full House vote

The House Rules Committee voted along party lines Tuesday to advance a resolution which would hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress.

The successful procedural vote sets up a full House vote on the measure, which aims to hold the Biden administration official in contempt over his refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena for audio recordings of President Biden’s October interviews with former Special Counsel Robert Hur.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) told reporters that the lower chamber will take up the contempt vote on Wednesday.

“This resolution upholds the institutional power of the House,” Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.), a member of the GOP-controlled Judiciary panel that subpoenaed Garland for the audio recordings earlier this year, said in her testimony before the Rules Committee Tuesday.

“It’s very simple. Attorney General Garland holds information vital to the committee’s legislative oversight and the House’s impeachment inquiry,” she argued. “Attorney General Garland has refused to comply with the committee subpoena, and only belatedly did President Biden invoke an invalid executive privilege assertion over the audio recordings.”

Biden, 81, had blocked the release of more than five hours of recordings from his two-day sitdown with Hur in the classified documents probe, asserting executive privilege at the behest of the AG last month.

The Justice Department and the White House have cited fears that the release of the recordings would chill future cooperation from witnesses and that Republicans will use the tapes to take political shots at Biden in their efforts to keep the recordings away from lawmakers.

In March, the DOJ provided Congress with a transcript of Hur’s Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 interviews with the president, which showed the commander in chief forgetting the year his son Beau Biden died of brain cancer and the year Donald Trump was elected president.

The DOJ has argued that it complied with the February congressional subpoena by releasing the transcript and other materials related to the Biden classified documents investigation.

Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairmen of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees, have said the recordings are critical to their investigations into Biden’s “willful retention of classified documents and his fitness to be President of the United States.”

“The recordings are necessary,” Hageman told the Rules Committee. “The transcripts alone are not sufficient evidence of the state of the president’s memory.”

Former Attorneys General Eric Holder and Bill Barr were held in contempt of Congress in 2012 and 2019, respectively, but neither were charged by the Justice Department, which they oversaw.

Similarly, Garland is likely to ignore any contempt resolution that House Republicans pass.

Hur, a former Trump-appointed Maryland US Attorney, submitted his findings about Biden’s handling of classified information in early February.

The bombshell 388-page report noted there was evidence that the commander in chief “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials,” but Hur’s team concluded there wasn’t enough to prove it “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Hur also expressed concern that a jury would perceive the oldest president in US history as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Trump-backed Rep. Nancy Mace fends off Republican primary challenge in South Carolina

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) came out on top in Tuesday’s South Carolina 1st Congressional District primary election, the first contest of the year to feature one of the eight Republicans that voted to oust former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

Mace received 57.6% of the vote in the Palmetto State and will move on to the November general election, where she will be seeking a third term in Congress.

The 46-year-old congresswoman narrowly avoided a runoff election, which would have been triggered if she had received less than 50% of the vote.

Mace’s top challenger was former state official Catherine Templeton, who served under former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Templeton, who received 28.8% of the vote Tuesday, had been buoyed by spending from super PACs with links to McCarthy.

McCarthy, who resigned from Congress in the weeks after he was dethroned from the speakership, slammed Mace leading up to the election.

“I hope Nancy gets the help she needs, I really do,” McCarthy told reporters in February. “I just hope she gets the help to straighten out her life. I mean, she’s got a lot of challenges.”

“No one will stay working for her,” he added, referencing her problem retaining staffers. “You can’t have somebody who just flips and flops based upon what TV station she gets put on. You want someone who’s willing to work, and so I hope she gets that kind of help.”

Mace was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

She and seven other GOP reps – Bob Good (R-Va.), Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Ken Buck (R-Colo.), Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) and Eli Crane (R-Ariz.) – banded together with a united Democrat conference to declare the office of speaker vacant by a vote of 216-210 last October.

Buck resigned in March, before the end of his term. The rest of the eight are up for re-election in 2024 and some are facing stiff GOP primary challenges.

In-N-Out is beefing up its notoriously cheap prices to keep up with California’s new $20 state minimum wage at fast food restaurants.

In Los Angeles County, a double-double burger combo at the low-cost burger chains now goes for $11.44 — a $0.76 increase from last year, KTLA reported.

In San Francisco’s tourist-heavy Fisherman’s Wharf location, a double-double burger coupled with french fries and drink costs $13.63 after taxes.

Less hungry customers would still have to shell out $7.50 for the double patty without the sides or beverage, KRON4 reported.

The same meal with just a single patty is not much cheaper — a hamburger meal is priced at $11.03, while the cheeseburger one racks up $11.57 after tax.

Although still on the rise, prices are significantly cheaper just outside San Francisco.

New York “Squad” Rep. Jamaal Bowman is being accused of lying about his positions on Israel — publicly suggesting one thing and then allegedly flopping while privately groveling to a radical socialist group.

Bowman — who is in the fight of his political life against Democratic Party challenger George Latimer — previously publicly condemned a heinous anti-Israel protest supported by the Democratic Socialists of America “in the strongest possible terms.’’

He seized on the moment to crow that he had let his DSA membership lapse after a previous falling out with the group for visiting Israel and voting for defense funding to the country

Then Bowman told DSA members during a May 26 endorsement interview, “I’m still a member. … I didn’t let my dues lapse,” the New York Times reported Tuesday.

The two-term incumbent also has never publicly stated that he supports the controversial Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which pro-Israel activists claim is antisemitic by trying to economically harm the Jewish state to advance the interests of Palestinians.

Yet during the DSA endorsement interview, Bowman said he “personally” backs the BDS movement but just has not gone public with his support because of the “large Jewish population, large Zionist population, large pro-Israel population, large AIPAC population” in his 16th Congressional district.

The pol, whose district covers most of Westchester County and the north Bronx, indicated he wants to go public “at some point” to stimulate discussion to further “peace and justice and safety and humanity for all people.”

“BDS. is a nonviolent protest opportunity to hold Israel accountable,” Bowman said during the interview, the Times reported.

“And I think Israel needs to be held accountable. And so I’m ready, willing and able to collaborate with you all to figure out what’s the best way to do that.”

The DSA backs the BDS campaign against Israel.

Bowman also said he now opposes Iron Dome defense funding for Israel, which he previously voted for.

He said he initially voted for Iron Dome funding to show his constituents he wasn’t against the Jewish people.

“I didn’t want my ‘no’ vote to be misinterpreted as ‘I want Jews to be killed,’” he told DSA members.

But he now blames Israel for committing “genocide” in Gaza in its response to Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on the Jewish State.

“There’s no way I could support any of that, because there’s a genocide happening in Gaza,” he told the socialists.

The congressman faces a formidable Democratic primary challenge from Westchester County Executive Latimer, who has the backing of pro-Israel advocates.

Latimer backers called Bowman a craven liar in a desperate bid to get re-elected.

The number of migrants being sheltered at Boston Logan Airport appears to have increased, with throngs of families lining a baggage claim surrounded by suitcases and using sparse blankets for makeshift mattresses.

Over a hundred migrants are currently spending their nights sleeping on the floor at the Boston airport, The Post’s new photos show — an apparent uptick in recent weeks from the dozens who were being housed there a few months ago.

“We continue to see migrants at the airport. They come to Logan a number of ways. They also arrive at Logan at all hours,” a representative from MassPort previously told Boston 25 News when the numbers of migrants behind housed at Logan spiked.

But without the proper staff or resources to properly take care of a large population of residents, the migrants are transported out of the airport to state welcome centers daily, then brought back by night, MassPort said.

In the airport the migrants have less than ideal conditions, including cold air conditioning, hard floors, lights in their faces all night, and airport announcements keeping them awake, WBUR reported.

Migrants have been staying in the baggage area in Logan since last year after the state’s shelters reached their 7,500 family capacity in November, forcing people to sit on waitlists for the facilities to be housed at the airport.

To address the state’s growing migrant population, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey announced in May that a former prison about an hour southwest of Boston would be converted into a shelter for about 400 homeless families — including 150 spaces open for migrant families.

MassPort could not be reached for comment when contacted by The Post.

Airports across the country beyond Logan have become common tools for housing migrants.

The San Diego International Airport been used to house hundreds of migrants sleeping on its floors at a time, as has Chicago’s O’Hare Airport and the airport at El Paso in Texas.

In compliance with a congressional subpoena, the disgraced former governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, finally arrived in Washington, DC, on Tuesday to answer for his pandemic actions before the subcommittee tasked with investigating the COVID-19 response.

In typical fashion, he opened the hearing with the familiar lies and hackneyed talking points we have been hearing for four years.

But unlike his Albany fireside chats in which he pretended to know what he was doing, Tuesday’s statements are now part of the congressional record and made under oath.

Cuomo’s comment on the March 25, 2020, directive that sent more than 9,000 COVID-positive patients into nursing homes for six weeks: It wasn’t his fault!

He was just following orders by the federal government, folks!

But where is this federal guidance compelling state governments to pack care facilities with COVID patients?

How does Cuomo explain that the majority of other states in the union did not carry out this practice?

Let’s be clear on this one.

Other than Cuomo’s former health commissioner, Howard Zucker, no doctor or health professional has ever come out in support of this direct order.

Here is a little refresher course for those who are new to Cuomo’s blame game: Back in 2020, Cuomo pointed fingers at Trump and the federal government for his deadly order.

In response, Seema Verma, the former director of the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, said she “disagree[d] with” his command.

“Under no circumstances should a hospital discharge a patient to a nursing home that is not prepared to take care of those patients’ needs,” Verma stated at the time.

In fact, the CDC warned nursing homes to keep COVID-19 patients out of their facilities.

The only time a home could allow a sick person into the residence is if the facility could “properly care” for the patient — and at the time, anyone with a disease this contagious and lethal would be confined to an isolation wing in a strict hospital setting.

Nursing-home operators felt they had no choice but to accept these patients, it was widely reported at the time — and said that Andrew Cuomo threatened to take away their licenses if they didn’t play by his rules.

If Cuomo was following federal CDC guidelines, why did his administration do everything it could to cover up the state’s total number of elderly deaths?

His top aide, Melissa DeRosa, famously “froze” out of fear that the true number would be held against her by federal prosecutors.

In his long-winded opening statement on Tuesday, Cuomo also blew off several important state investigations that found his executive chamber lied and falsified reports.

The New York state comptroller came out with a 41-page audit that found Cuomo’s health department underreported the full death tally by as much as 50% during April 2020 and February 2021.

We lost both my husband’s parents in separate elder-care facilities during the pandemic, so just hearing Andrew Cuomo’s voice again brings PTSD.

I’m not surprised that he used the same old platitudes and lies he has been feeding the press for years, but this time he was under oath — and there is plenty of evidence to counter his banal bromides.

I would like the subcommittee to subpoena documents and drafts about the origins of Cuomo’s March 25 order.

If the former governor is so sure that the CDC or some other entity of the federal government was behind it, by all means, he should prove it.

If there’s one thing we know for sure after four years of trying to get justice and accountability for the deaths of our loved ones, Andrew Cuomo has never taken responsibility for his actions, issued apologies or admitted mistakes.

Judging by his performance today, that day will never come.

But we have the angels on our side — and Tuesday’s sworn testimony is the beginning of Cuomo’s Judgment Day.

Far-left “Squad” Rep. Jamaal Bowman is likely headed toward a landslide defeat — badly trailing Dem foe George Latimer by 17 points ahead of the June 25 primary election, a new poll shows.

Latimer, the Westchester County executive, garnered support from 48% of Democratic primary voters compared to just 31% for Bowman, a two-term incumbent, in the 16th Congressional District, according to the Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey.

The remaining 21% of respondents were undecided in the district, which encompasses much of Westchester County and parts of the north Bronx, the poll said.

The Israel-Hamas war may be playing an outsized role in the race, the survey showed.

Latimer, 70, has squarely sided with Israel in the raging conflict, while Bowman, 48, was captured on video in November calling Israel an “apartheid” state as he angrily claimed reported rapes and child murders by Hamas during the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel were a “lie.” He later walked back the comment ripped as Hamas propaganda.

Forty-five percent of voters align more with Latimer on the war, 29% side more with Bowman, and 26% are unsure, the survey said.

Either way, more people want to see an end to the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza regardless of where they stand on Israel.

A plurality of Democratic primary voters — 43% — are less inclined to support a member of Congress who opposes a cease-fire in Gaza, while 37% are more likely to back a candidate who is against one. The remaining 20% had no opinion.

Half of the Democratic primary voters also thought the US government is spending too much on aid to Israel in the war with Hamas, while a third think the Biden administration is spending the right amount, and 17% think the country is spending too little.

Regarding humanitarian relief to Palestinians in Gaza, 46% thought the US is spending too little, 34% the right amount, and 21% too much.

Latimer, a moderate who has held various offices in Westchester since the late 1980s, also is just generally more liked than Bowman, who has been backed by the Democratic Socialists of America, the poll found.

Sixty-five percent of voters said they have a favorable view of Latimer, while 23% have an unfavorable

view. Twelve percent are undecided.

Meanwhile, 51% have a favorable view of the incumbent congressman, while 43%

have an unfavorable view of him. Six percent are not familiar with Bowman.

Latimer led among white voters by a yawning 42 percentage points — 62% to 20%, the poll showed.

Bowman, who is African-American, was ahead among black voters — but by a narrower 14 percentage points, 48% to 34%.

Hispanic voters are split evenly, with 36% supporting Bowman and Latimer, respectively.

There also is an age disparity, with younger voters favoring Bowman while older ones supporting Latimer.

Voters have bread-and-butter issues they’re concerned about, too.

The economy (22%) and housing affordability (21%) were the top issues for the Democratic primary voters in the district, followed by threats to democracy (14%), healthcare (13%), crime (12%), and immigration (6%).

The Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey was conducted June 6-8. The sample of 425 likely Democratic voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 percentage points.

Voters were contacted by cell phone and through automated calls on landlines.

A previous survey in April conducted by the pro-Latimer Democratic Majority for Israel also found the challenger leading Bowman by 17 points — 52% to 35%.

Latimer said of Tuesday’s survey’s results, “As encouraging as this is, there’s only one poll that really counts and that starts with Early Voting this Saturday, when voters choose between my proven track record of delivering real progressive results versus the incumbent’s divisiveness, dishonesty, hostility toward his constituents, and votes against Democratic priorities.”

Early voting begins Saturday.

Bowman, a former Bronx middle-school principal, has been dogged by self-inflicted controversies that have damaged his standing, beyond his rhetorical baggage and left-wing positions.

The Republican-led House voted in December to censure Bowman for pulling a fire alarm in a Capitol Hill office building Sept. 30 in order to delay a vote to avert a government shutdown.

He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count Oct. 26 of falsely pulling the fire alarm and agreed to pay a $1,000 fine, insisting it was a mistake.

Bowman is part of an informal group of far-left House members, dubbed “The Squad” by their acolytes, that includes neighboring New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Cori Bush of Missouri.

Two high school business teachers in Wisconsin were forced to resign after district officials found out they’d been trying to seduce one of their students by offering him a foursome — with one of the pervy pair even sending scantily-clad photos to his Snapchat account.

Alexsia Saldaris, a first-year teacher, and Jennifer Larson, an 11-year veteran, left their jobs in April after an investigation by officials at Joseph Craig High School in Janesville unearthed the racy messages, according to WMTV 15 in Madison.

Both allegedly admitted to inappropriately Snapchatting the unidentified male student, who’s age has not been released — with Saldaris acknowledging she’d sent the risqué pictures and Larson admitting she’d sent messages about “cuddling, flirting, and the implication of alcohol.”

Much of the scandal revolves around a school trip that lasted from April 7 to 9 — which is when the district says both teachers sent the student messages saying they wanted to cuddle and “have fun” with him.

Worse, they asked if another student might join, according to the network, which secured a summary of the district’s investigation.

During the same encounter, Saldaris apparently gave the keys to a district van to the student and let him take it for a lap around the parking lot, the station said.

As she was changing her shoes in the back of the vehicle, she and the student shared “a half kiss,” the network added.

Representatives for the school district and neither of the teachers responded to The Post’s request for comment.

On April 9, Saldaris also reportedly sent the kid five photos of herself in her underwear and lingerie. And further texts revealed plans for them to meet that weekend.

But nothing else happened over the following days, the Daily Mail said.

A day later, Larson reported Saldaris to the administration for letting the student drive the van. The same morning, Saldaris texted the student saying their relationship needed to end.

He agreed, the network said.

On April 11, the same administrator who heard Larson’s complaint got another report from a teacher about a group of boys who were standing around, laughing at pictures on a phone.

The teacher said they were “95 percent sure” that the photos the kids were gawking at were the shots of Saldaris in her unmentionables.

The district placed both teachers on administrative leave April 12, the station said.

Ten days later, the school board accepted their resignations.

Larson — who was also the school advisor for the Wisconsin DCEA, a program for future leaders and entrepreneurs — also admitted to telling a male student that a girl he was seeing wasn’t “good enough” for him, the Mail added.

The Janesville Police Department is conducting its own investigation to see if the twisted teachers broke any laws, and should be hit with criminal charges.

Border agents have allowed 72% of migrants who illegally crossed into the San Diego sector since the Biden administration’s border ‘crackdown’ to continue into the US, The Post can reveal.

Out of more than 6,800 migrants encountered by Border agents in the Southern California border sector between June 5 and Tuesday morning, more than 4,900 individuals have been released, according to internal federal data seen by The Post.

“It’s all smoke and mirrors,” National Border Patrol Council President for the San Diego border sector Manny Bayon told The Post.

Despite the new rules, border agents in San Diego specifically have been given instructions to exempt citizens of over a 100 countries from being removed, because their home countries won’t accept deportations.

“We have to have cooperation with the countries where we’re sending them back,” Bayon added.

The Biden administration’s new policy is meant to deter illegal border crossers by blocking them from applying for asylum until the number of migrant encounters across the whole southern border falls below 1,500 per day for seven consecutive days.

If that happens, the restrictions could go back into effect when migrant encounters go back up to 2,500 each day for seven days in a row.

Despite those numbers, the official wording of the order says certain groups are excluded, such as those who use the CBP One phone app to cross at a port of entry, enter as unaccompanied minors, or can prove they have suffered “severe” forms of trafficking or face medical emergencies.

It also says the number doesn’t apply to migrants who are “permitted to enter … due to operational considerations at the time of the entry,” which potentially excludes all the 4,900 individuals released in the San Diego sector.

So far migrants have not been deterred and the order hasn’t slowed things down. Large groups continue to flock in to San Diego, which has become the busiest section for illegal crossings in the nation.

Many who turn up in San Diego are from countries of national security concern like Turkey and China, who are led to the area by smugglers advertising on social media.

The international smugglers are attracted by the relative ease of slipping over the border, as there are multiple areas where there are gaps in the border wall, and because they have long known migrants from certain countries won’t be deported.

They also encourage many to burn their passports before entry, further complicating the process of identifying them.

Border Patrol processing centers in San Diego, where migrants are taken when they’re apprehended at the border, are at 255% capacity with more than 2,500 individuals in facilities capable of holding 1,000 individuals, according to the internal data.

“We’re way beyond capacity here in San Diego and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna be lighter anytime soon,” Bayon said, adding the agency has to bus migrants from San Diego to Arizona for them to be processed because of the overwhelming situation.

Video taken by The Post since Biden’s order has gone into place shows migrants crossing by the hundreds into the remote region of Jacumba Hot Springs, which is part of the San Diego border sector.

Does Panda Express have a shrinkflation problem? One disappointed customer is sounding the alarm on the orange chicken monger, claiming the popular Chinese fast casual has severely downsized its takeout containers — even as prices have gone up.

“Panda Express food container got smaller,” griped TikTok user @jayasuriyafamily in a recent post detailing the alleged Panda-monium, which occurred in an unspecified part of the United States.

In the clip, the unhappy customer could be seen preparing to tuck into an unidentified white to-go box of meat, rice, noodles and veggies, declaring that this particular portion was quite paltry compared to what the greasy wok diner used to serve.

The Post reached out to Panda Express for comment.

He then proceeded to stick his fork into the meal like a gastronomic depth gauge, claiming that it didn’t even measure “an inch and a half deep.”

From this, the TikToker deduced that that the California-based chain had “changed the box to an even shallower” one.

JayFamily even claimed that Panda Express of following in the footsteps of Chipotle, one of many food firms that fans have accused of dialing down their serving sizes in response to inflation-fueled price hikes.

However, the walnut shrimp wizards deny that their boxes are getting smaller.

“Our top priority is to satisfy our guests,” a Panda Express representative told the Daily Mail. “We have not changed the size of our containers or portions and remain committed to serving the innovative and quality comfort food our guests have come to expect.”

Wreckage of private jet carrying 5 men found 200 feet underwater in Lake Champlain 53 years after it vanished

Experts believe they found the wreckage of a private corporate jet 200 feet below the surface in Lake Champlain more than 50 years after it mysteriously disappeared shortly after takeoff.

The private plane carrying five men took off from Burlington, Vermont, on a snowy night, but never made it to its destination in Providence, Rhode Island on Jan 27, 1971.

Rescuers looking for the plane in the immediate aftermath didn’t find it and four days after the apparent crash Lake Champlain froze over.

Underwater searcher Garry Kozak and a team were able to link the 10-seat plane through the same custom paint job when they found the wreckage in the lake last month using a remotely operated vehicle.

Parts of the doomed plane were located 200 feet below the surface near where the radio control tower had last tracked it before it vanished.

Kozak told NBC 10 Boston he was “100% confident” the wreck is of the missing plane.

Three employees of an Atlanta-based development company, Cousin’s Properties, working on a project in Burlington, as well as two crew members, were on the plane.

The niece of pilot George Nikita called the discovery a “peaceful feeling” and “very sad feeling.”

“We know what happened,” she said Tuesday. “We’ve seen a couple of photos. We’re struggling I think with that now.”

The son of a passenger on the plane said it was a relief to know where it ended up.

“Spending 53 years not knowing if the plane was in the lake or maybe on a mountainside around there somewhere was distressing,” said Frank Wilder, whose father went by the same name.

“And again, I’m feeling relieved that I know where the plane is now but unfortunately it’s opening other questions and we have to work on those now.”

Debris from the plane was initially found in the spring of 1971 at Shelburne Point after the ice melted from the lake, Kozak said.

But a subsequent underwater search turned up nothing and at least another 17 searches, including as recently as 2014, also led to nothing.

The three other men aboard the plane were pilot Donald Myers and Cousin’s Property’s Robert Williams and Richard Windsor.

The National Transportation Safety Board will determine if the missing plane was actually recovered.

“We will be evaluating the specifics of what was found, and the degree of certainty to which we are able to positively link it back to the wreckage that was located,” spokesperson Peter Knudson said in a statement to NBC 10 Boston.

“Following that, if and when any of that wreckage were recovered, we would determine what level of examination would be appropriate given what is recovered and what condition it is in.”

Deer crashes through bus windshield, injures three

A deer leaped through the windshield of a bus on Rhode Island on Monday — while the driver cooly continued on his route in a wild scene caught on dashcam footage.

Three passengers on the public transit bus in Providence suffered minor injuries. The animal later died, officials said.

Video from the bus shows the deer first galavanting into oncoming traffic before throwing itself through the vehicle’s windshield, crashing into a man sitting in the front and then falling on the floor.

Rhode Island Public Transit Authority CEO Christopher Durand hailed the cool-as-a-cucumber bus driver for his “exemplary response to this unique situation.

“His exceptional alertness and composure under pressure ensured the safety of all passengers,” Durand said, according to local outlet WLNE-TV. “This incident underscores the dedication and professionalism of our drivers in maintaining the highest standards of safety and care for our community.”

There were six passengers on the bus at the time, the Warwick Police Department said.

Two were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries caused by the broken glass from the windshield. A third passenger later went to the hospital on their own to be treated for minor injuries, according to WLNE-TV.

The deer died a little after the crash, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said.

An automatic abort command was triggered by a ground system computer that controls the launch, and the countdown clock was paused, according to mission officials.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the problem, but CBS News reported that NASA said “the GLS (Ground Launch Sequencer) did not load the proper configuration files when the countdown resumed.”

All three computers have to agree for the launch to occur, Bruno explained.

He said it’s possible teams could identify the problem tonight, fix it and try for a second launch Sunday, when the next available window would be about noon local time.

There will be two more chances on Wednesday and Thursday if needed.

If it doesn’t launch by any of those dates, the flight will be significantly delayed because engineers will need time to replace batteries in the rocket’s self-destruct system that will reach their “use by” date, according to CBS.

The launch was previously delayed in May due to leak checks and rocket repairs.

NASA will hold a press conference Saturday afternoon to address the aborted launch.

“I mean, I’ve heard some people say if his name wasn’t Donald Trump, he would definitely get jail time. But sending a former American president to jail, I don’t know if that’s something- I’m asking,” Maher continued.

Former Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., responded by predicting Trump won’t go to jail based on Manhattan’s sentencing history of similar crimes.

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod expressed reluctance about sending the presumptive Republican nominee to prison.

“Listen, a lot of people in my tribe don’t like it when I say this, but yeah, I think there is something about jailing a former president, especially on something like this,” Axelrod told Maher. “That is, to me, worrisome for our country. And I would really be shocked if this judge gave him a prison sentence for this.”

‘I mean, MAGA nation will go nuts,” Maher said. “I don’t know if that’s a reason to or not to do something, but they will.”

The HBO star later fretted that a “civil war” could erupt if Trump was sent to jail, specifically a “race war,” accusing his supporters of being outraged by a Black district attorney and a Hispanic judge who made it happen.

“A civil war in this country, I’m sorry to say, becomes a race war,” Maher said. “That’s the sad truth about this country. And if they put him in jail, I mean, the first thing his supporters are gonna say is, ‘Oh, that’s what it is.’ A Black district attorney. You know, all these people who are the district attorneys, they’re black. The judge was not White. This is what it is.”

Trump’s defenders have blasted the guilty verdict, accusing Democrats of using lawfare to try to defeat him in the upcoming November presidential election.

Donald Trump’s conviction isn’t scaring off voters — it’s spurring high-roller donors to flock to his cause

I can’t tell you if Donald Trump will spend a day in jail after a Manhattan jury’s guilty verdict in that absurd hush-money case. What I can report with a great degree of certainty is that Trump isn’t a guy acting particularly worried about the outcome; in fact, he thinks it’s going to propel him back into the White House.

That’s the read I’m getting from members of the billionaire and multimillionaire GOP donor class who were hanging with the former and possibly future president, now a convicted felon, at an Upper East Side residence just hours after the perversion of the justice system Thursday.

Among the deep-pocketed group of about two dozen — some who were initially reluctant to support Trump for many reasons, including the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill fiasco — were private equity honcho Steve Schwarzman; real estate titan Steve Witkoff; Jeff Sprecher, the CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange that controls the NYSE; his wife, the former Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler; NFL New York Jets owner Woody Johnson; Jacob Helberg of Palantir; John Catsimatidis, the supermarket and media entrepreneur; and hedge fund billionaire John Paulson.

They met at the behest of Pepe Fanjul, the South Florida real estate and sugar magnate who owns the swanky venue.

I am told that Trump, with his son Eric, arrived a little late (for obvious reasons) — not with a scowl but a smile. He began by cracking jokes to his guests about what just went down in that lower Manhattan courtroom and then got down to business about how he plans to reverse the corrosive elements of Bidenism when he gets re-elected.

All of this was discussed over a dinner of a ravioli appetizer and a choice of steak and fish. (Trump, a legendary meat eater, got the steak; I couldn’t determine if he doused it with his preferred condiment, ketchup.)

Biden’s open-borders fiasco took center stage. So did Trump’s potential VP pick, with a lot of people plugging former nemesis Nikki Haley. Then came the administration’s weak response to China’s military and economic threat; wokeism, where we have an administration that supports “transitioning” children; Biden’s seeming obliviousness to continued inflation that’s decimating the working class; and the rise of antisemitism on campuses and in public discourse thanks to the left wing of the Democratic Party that Sleepy Joe actively has supported for four years despite his reputation as a moderate.

Addressing the issues

Trump took it all in. People were said to be outraged how a lefty Manhattan district attorney can insert himself into a national election. Trump’s other legal issues were addressed and how some might end up before the Supreme Court.

He provided some Trumpian details on how he planned to address it all, which no one argued with given his prior record of peace and prosperity despite his crazy Truth Social feed.

“We spoke for two hours,” said one attendee. “Everyone explained the need for Trump to win given the dangerous direction of the country under Biden and they said they were willing to do whatever to support him.”

The donors came (and pledged an estimated $30 million to Team Trump) because they not only see the case brought by leftist DA Alvin Bragg — 34 counts of practically nothing bootstrapped into a felony — as a politically motivated hatchet job, they view the other cases against Trump through the same political witch-hunt prism. They’re increasingly willing to fight back with their bank accounts.

Most of all, they fear the alternative: The hapless administration of Sleepy Joe Biden that is an existential threat to the nation.

Again, the people attending weren’t always on the Trump train. Schwarzman, a longtime GOP donor, was until recently a Trump skeptic following Jan. 6. As this column first predicted, antisemitism on campus, stoked by elements of the Democratic Party and Biden’s mere half-hearted support of Israel eradicating the Hamas maniacs after Oct. 7, has made Schwarzman a born-again Trumper.

He said as much at the dinner. So did the others who attended — to a person. They believe the DA’s case was a farce and the trial a sham: A noncrime over a porn-star hush-money payment brought by a defund-the-police, Soros-funded hack DA before a lefty judge — all to bring down the Democrats’ most hated target.

They also really think that Biden has sold out to sinister and leftist elements of the party. He needs to go, along with his half-witted VP, Kamala Harris, who will likely finish out our barely sentient president’s term if he’s re-elected, given his fragile mental acuity.

Meanwhile, the former president is acting like he’s going to be the next president. The Bragg verdict has galvanized popular support and money is rolling in from donors large and small; an estimated $150 million will be raised in the coming days, the Trump campaign believes.

Even before the verdict, Trump was talking to his kitchen cabinet — a group of about a dozen people from the business and political worlds with whom he’s close that goes beyond his casual chats with Elon Musk — not about what the food is like in jail, but who will help him run the government after he wins back the White House.

It was once thought that experienced people would run from Trump if he ran again because of the volatile nature of his presidency and his erratic behavior. And yes, Jan. 6.

Just the opposite is happening now. Four years of Sleepy Joe will do that.

Hunter Biden owes ex-wife Kathleen Buhle $2.9M in alimony and other debts as she is set to testify in gun, tax evasion trials

Hunter Biden owes his ex-wife $2.9 million after a protracted legal battle — and now his one time spouse is expected to be a key witness in his looming trials.

Kathleen Buhle, who was married to the first son for 24 years before they split in 2017, claims Hunter has blown off agreed-upon alimony payments, legal fees, interest and other debts to her over the years.

Buhle sued Hunter in 2019, shortly after he married current wife Melissa Cohen.

The dispute with Buhle has been simmering in Washington, D.C. courts for years, and in 2021 Hunter was found to be in violation of his divorce settlement.

Now Buhle, mother to three of Hunter’s five kids, is set to take the stage as Hunter faces federal trial next week for illegal gun possession, and again in September when Hunter goes on trial for alleged tax crimes.

The dispute makes a is mentioned in special counsel David Weiss’ tax evasion indictment of the younger Biden.

Their separation agreement stipulated Hunter would pay Buhle $37,000 a month and 50% of any earnings over $875,000 annually, according to court documents obtained by Axios.

Team Buhle, however has maintained that Hunter didn’t pony up what he owned in 2017 and 2018, a period in which they allege he made more than $2 million per year. The alimony stopped altogether after she filed sued, her attorneys contended to Axios.

The situation was the result of Hunter’s well-documented spiral into drug addiction, his attorneys said. The cash, however, has still been slow-walked even after his recovery, Buhle’s attorneys’ said in an April 2023 court filing, according to the outlet.

“Ms. Buhle previously told this court that the expense and emotional toll this has had on her is enormous and appears to be never-ending. Those feelings have not changed,” her attorney Wendy Schwartz wrote in the filing, per Axios.

It’s far from the first time Hunter Biden has trying to penny-pinch the women in his life.

Hunter Biden shares a child with former stripper Lunden Roberts which he spent years denying until a paternity test confirmed he was the father.

Throughout 2023 he famously sparred in court with his baby mama after attempting to reduce his child support payments to her. They eventually settled in June 2023.

An F-16 fighter pilot just retired after 40 years in the Air Force — only because a suicide mission he was prepared to undertake 23 years ago — on 9/11 — was aborted.

Marc Sasseville, now 61, and another pilot, Heather Penney, who was just 26 at the time, were ordered to scramble their jets after two hijacked planes flew into the World Trade Center’s twin towers and a third hit the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.

They were told to go after United Airlines Flight 93, which had been hijacked by four al-Qaida terrorists and was on track to hit Washington, DC. Both took off from Andrews Air Force Base without even knowing their mission.

Then Sasseville and Penney got their marching orders: Locate Flight 93 and stop it.

They couldn’t figure out how at first because their fighter jets were not armed with missiles.

But they decided that if required, they would hit the hijacked plane with their jets — making it a suicide mission.

“It’s a testament to Sass’ leadership that he didn’t ask anyone else to lead that mission,” Penney told the network.

“He wouldn’t ask anyone else to give what he was unwilling to give.”

Before they had to make that harrowing sacrifice, Sasseville and Penney found out that the passengers and crew of Flight 93 had wrested back control of the plane before it crashed in Shanksville, Pa., killing all 44 people on board.

“If those heroes on 93 — and by the way, those are the real heroes — if they hadn’t taken action and they hadn’t done what needed to be done, it would have been a very different outcome for me and my family,” Sasseville said.

Sasseville and Penney returned to Joint Base Andrews to refuel before escorting Air Force One back to DC with then-President George W. Bush on board.

Sasseville ultimately became a three-star general in the Air Force and the No. 2 officer in the National Guard.

“It has been a tremendous honor and a privilege to serve, and a truly rare opportunity for me and my family to make a difference,” he said during his retirement ceremony speech.

“Now, you have the watch. Thank you all.”

The aunt of ex-Democratic Hawaiian Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was stabbed multiple times and beaten with a hammer during a fight with her protege in Samoa last month, according to a report.

Dr. Caroline Sinaviana-Gabbard, 78, was found dead on May 25 inside award-winning Samoan playwright Papalii Sia Figiel’s home in Vaivase-Uta, according to Spectrum News.

The two women reportedly were alone inside Figiel’s home which doubles as the community’s local theater named GaluMoana Theater, when the deadly confrontation took place.

Sinaviana-Gabbard is believed to have been Figiel’s mentor.

Figiel reportedly fled to a friend’s house following the brutal attack and turned herself over to the police.

Figiel, 57, was initially arrested for manslaughter last Sunday, but her charges were upgraded to murder following an investigation.

“A hammer is alleged to have been used as well as a small knife that inflicted multiple stab wounds on the deceased,” Smoa Police Commissioner Auapaau Logoitino Filipo said, according to Somoanews.com.

“We do not know what the motive is of the offending but from reports the incident occurred on Saturday and the suspect left the deceased at her home while she went out to Lotofaga and spent time with a friend,” Filipo added.

Sinavaiana-Gabbard, a former professor at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, was the older sister of Hawaii State Senator Mike Gabbard, Tulsi’s father.

“Caroline was my best friend as a teenager,” Mike Gabbard said in a statement to Spectrum News.

“She helped me considerably during my rebellious stage of adolescence. She got me hooked on reading, so much so that I followed in her footsteps and majored in English at Sonoma State University in California, then returned to our birthplace, American Samoa, where I taught English in high schools and was a faculty member, guidance counselor and dean at the community college for many years.

“I love her deeply and wish her well as she continues her journey.”

Mike Gabbard went on to say that he forgives the person responsible for her death, but hopes justice will be served and that the person “will be punished to the full extent of the law.”

Sinavaiana-Gabbard taught creative writing and Pacific literature during her nearly two-decade tenure at the school.

Her family says she was the first Samoan to become a full professor in the US, and was an accomplished writer, teacher and environmental activist.

Tulsi Gabbard served four terms in Congress serving Hawaii’s second district, and was the first Samoa-American to become a voting member of Congress.

In April, Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party in 2022, revealed she turned down an offer to serve as independent presidential hopeful Robert F Kennedy’s running mate.

Figiel’s work is published in New Zealand and has won the Best First Book award in the South East Asia/ South Pacific region of the Commonwealth Writers Prize in 1997.

Following her arrest, Figiel was transferred from Tanumalala Prison to the National Hospital in Motootua where she was placed on 24-hour suicide watch, a close friend told KHJ News.

Figiel is expected to appear in front of the Supreme Court of Samoa on June 10.

A Queens couple pulled a safe with $100,000 in cash inside from the bottom of a lake in Corona Park while “magnet fishing,” according to a report.

The two anglers, James Kane and Barbie Agostini, tossed a line with a strong magnet on the end into the water on Friday afternoon. When they felt something bulky on the end, they pulled out an old safe.

They were able to pry the safe open and find the discovery — which was unfortunately ruined by the water — wrapped in plastic.

“It was two stacks of freaking hundreds. Big stacks,” Kane told NY1.

Kane said as veteran magnet fishermen he and Agostini had found plenty of safes before — most of which are empty, save some plastic bags used to hold cash. He expected this one to be the same.

Kane said he swore in shock. Agostini thought he was joking.

“He showed me and once I saw the actual dollars and the security ribbons I lost it,” she said.

Unfortunately, the bills were “soaking wet, pretty much destroyed,” Kane said.

They called the NYPD to avoid any legal trouble. A number of cops arrived just to check out the bizarre call that had come over the radio. They told the couple they’d never seen anything like it.

With no way to ID the owner of the safe, which was likely stolen, Kane and Agostini were allowed to keep what they found.

“I guess the finders keepers rule worked for us,” Kane said.

The couple first got into magnet fishing during the pandemic.

“We were borded during covid lockdown and I’ve always had this itch to become a treasure hunter … so we discovered something called magnet fishing,” Kane told NY1.

He called the hobby “the poor man’s treasure hunting.”

Among their finds include a WWII-era grenade they pulled out of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn and six or seven guns, some dating back to the 19th century, in Flushing Meadows alone.
