Why, it's a tradition, jews hate non-Jewish traditions.
We are going to celebrate as well in CZ , burning the witches it's called. The bolseviks (jews)weren't to happy about it at the time because it's pagan tradition.
And Brussels (eujews) hate it,trying to stop it already 20 years, their so called reason is climate,(ofcourse).
I'm building it here in my village with other people for weeks, it's bigger then a very big 3story house,we use several manitou to make it as big as possible. We compete against all our neighboring villages. It's all wood,trees,branches from spring pruning etc.
Respect and honor your traditions if you are European, they won't last, they are slowly being fazed out,on purpose. Pass them on to your children. Objecting against this is very Jewish.
