Zen Buddhism is about spending your life preparing for death.

That's why it was the form of Buddhism promoted to the Samurai caste.

Because it's particular interpretation of "letting go of worldly things" includes your own life.

See, I understand this notion in terms of The Ship of Theseus, but I see that there is natural utility in creating boundaries, because that's how the human mind constructs the world of men and phenomena, and separates that world from the world of animalism, pre-conscious thought, and noumena.

Well, for obvious reasons I can't endorse such a thing, but I will say that a lot of these people have the problem of wanting to also be internet famous, which is why people who were completely safe with their "comrades" and under no surveillance got arrested because posting on Telegram is for some reason something these people often like to partake in. Just look up any case file of these types of people.
