This is a good thing. I know myspace had its issues, but it was fun, and there weren't any tranny jannies ruining things (well maybe for music copyright).
I like the sense of freedom and exploration here. This extends to the other chans too, in an unintended free chans network, linked by word of mouth and URLs.
