Is it me, or does it seem harder and harder to find a job as a white man since 2020. First you have the taxes, then importing labor, then DE&I. I currently have a job, but it is hard to find a replacement one. I know some women have commented they have had issues too, so I don't want to accuse companies for not hiring due to demographics solely, but as I try to learn new things and try to apply to news jobs, it seems like I get nothing but rejection. Is it due to the job market or due to discrimination? It seems like we might be stuck here for a while and there are not many better positions. It makes me want to go partially Neet or full Neet or at least move and pay taxes to a government that does not hate me. What are your experiences with working as a White Man in the West?

I work at usps sorting mail/parcels working damn near 60 hours a week. I’m overqualified for this position, but I’m too scared to switch careers because I get paid so much overtime and I have kid on the way. I live in an Alaskan town with ~2000 people. Only fast food or grocery positions. I’ve never felt so stuck

I us d to have a shit ton of overtime until it got cut and working weekends at a grocery store until I could find a better job. So far have not found anything and might make a bold leap and semi Neet it/ backpack and work. Beste sitting in an office waiting to be fired

I’ve been noticing more and more attractive young women in shit jobs, like making pizzas at Little Caesar’s or working the night shift at CVS. The last time I recall seeing this phenomenon was during the Great Recession in 2008.

if you have a wife and kids you gotta support them, but even then you can be smart, limit your debt, pay a rural property down quickly in a red state and then live comfy off the land/solar with a low paying job that lets you fly under the radar. Its crazy how comfy you can live on almost no money if you are willing to do a lot of the work yourself. Invest in tools, learn how to use them, build your own stuff. My wife and I have been able to raise tons of kids on one modest income.
If you don't have a wife and kids, I would get some certifications and just build a comfy van and float around doing odd jobs and lower pay remote work jobs.
If you follow the weather you can live pretty comfy for only $1000/month. You can make that money doing various jobs about 4 months out of the year and then screw off the other 9 months out of the year.

I wouldn't stay in Alaska anon, come down to the lower 48 and you will have a much better time finding work and can still live out in the boonies. Omaha NE has tons of work and little houses on farms won't break the bank.

Well if you include being a slave to certain laws, inflation, and probably other things, yep. I just realized with what is coming, with what I have (have some passive assets), and not being able to proceed at this juncture, it would be better for me to move abroad. I hope other white men follow me.

no white man is getting a job unless the employer has literally zero options (diversity hires provide massive tax beaks still)
add in the fact automation is taking away jobs and add in more migrants coming in increasing population levels well beyond what it was.
its honestly amazing theres any jobs at all, and we're not living in some soylent green scenario.
but back on subject. i keep looking for work, no one wants to pay you more for experinence, sure it puts you in the front of the line. but i don't want to make entry level wages at 40 yrs old.
and thats my choice, shitty job no one wants but the pay is good, or a decent job hundreds of people are applying for, so they haven't had to raise wages in 20 years.

I did my career in computers before the industry was flooded and this worked reasonably well for me given my difficult situation
