It can be explained by the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis from linguistics. It advances the idea that the ability to conceptualise the world around you is related to the language you use and the ability of language to encapsulate meaning. Hence those african tribes who lack any concept of precision in their language and so could never conceptualise any idea of precision and measurement, and so could never even begin to have the idea of scientific analysis. So it is with the left and the meanings they have adopted and internalised for words, like how "racist" now means some shit about power and "privilege" in their heads, "privilege" being another one of their cult words which they have reassigned the meaning of. They have created their own dialect of English where the internal meaning of the words are entirely different from sane people, therefore their entire thought process is shaped through these language filters they have adopted, hence their cult-like use of language. As a result there will be certain things they could never even begin to conceive of thanks to their conditioning. You need to know all their in-group references to be able to communicate with them. It's tantamount to mass mind-control, and they they might as well be an entirely separate species of broken machines at this point.

The right is rather tolerant of the left but the left can not seem to tolerate the right even if they're married to it, or it's their son or daughter.

Maybe 10 years ago I was following my friend through his house to his back yard when we passed through the family room. His parents were sitting watching CNN and barely noticed us walk through with his mom muttering a faint, “Hi guys” as we walked by. I looked over and saw Anderson Cooper wearing his ridiculous commie glasses and speaking in a demanding tone like he was scolding children. When we got outside, I told my friend, “If anyone ever spoke to me like that, I’d punch them right in the fucking face. How do they subject themselves to that shit all day long?”
I guess that’s when i really started to notice the brainwashing that was taking place and the abandonment of reason from the social sphere.

The Chaotic Feminine will not stop, it will never see reason, there is no negotiating with it. It must be dragged into imprisonment kicking and screaming like a hysterical housewife.
Your only other option is to fight an increasing number of losing battles until a majority of males are anima-possessed and the society collapses. Western Europe is legitimately not far from this.

This bears repeating. I'm the same age as you.
Also, it is well understood now and probably was understood back then that if you want to cripple a child's confidence you praise their intelligence and if you want to boost your child's confidence you praise their work ethic and perseverance.
Gifted children are encouraged overtly and subtly, even by their egotistical parents, to slack off. That if something is difficult it's because you're just not good at it. And that because you are special you need to be yourself and it isn't worth your time to get other kids to like you because they're stupid anyway.
While lower IQ kids are told practice makes perfect and to study hard and to try to fit in.
