▲ MY COMMENT: It should last a few years IF YOU RATION IT only for essential utilities and only if you have it hooked up correctly leading to a separate fuse box with the needed breakers on a transfer switch!! Preppers like myself have been buying extra fuel and whole house generators too, and honestly, I'm surprised Obama doesn't also have a huge solar panel set-up. I have both a 15kW whole house propane generator w/ huge tank and a 3,000watt solar panel inverter system. I also have solar trickle chargers for extra 12V batteries, including spare 500watt all the way to 2,5000watt power inverters. Listen, we are talking about GRID DOWN scenarios here where you have to ration energy to keep a well water pump going, extra meat frozen, a few lights on, maybe charging an 18V DeWalt power drill battery from time to time when needed!
