Why Is The US Government Handing India Our Coal, Yet Trying To Ban American Consumption Of Coal!?

US thermal coal exporters recorded more than $5 billion in overseas sales in 2023, shipping upwards of 32.5 million metric tons of the power fuel, according to Reuters, citing data from ship-tracking firm Kpler. These coal export earnings were the second highest since 2017, trailing only behind 2022's $5.7 billion. This comes as US utility coal usage for electricity generation tumbles to the lowest in this century.

Reuters points out diverging trends between sliding domestic coal use at power plants and a surge in coal exports. They called this "hypocrisy, given the country's ambitions to become a global leader in energy transition and pollution reduction efforts."

In 2023, India was the largest destination for US coal shipments, with 11.8 million tons delivered, accounting for 36.3% of total US thermal exports. Kpler data showed that volume was up 130% from 2022, and the south Asian nation is the world's largest coal producer and consumer after China.

"India is expected to remain a keen buyer of international coal as the country's domestic reserves are being depleted and power firms rely on coal for about 75% of India's electricity," Reuters said.

This comes as major US companies, such as Apple, have been shifting manufacturing supply chains from China to India.

Many of these companies, who have adopted woke green policies, will be or have already produced goods in India on a grid heavily reliant on coal.

To sum up, Biden is 'making coal great again' with surging exports. At the same time, US corporations flock to India from China to build products on coal-powered grids while virtue signaling back in the States how they're saving the planet by planting trees and buying carbon credits.

For average Americans, this is fiscal insanity. Corruption at it's finest. Americans could - and should - be thePost too long. Click here to view the full text.

We Are Witnessing The Death Of America And The Collapse Of A Once-great Nation

RELATED: >>>/pnd/377638 ; >>>/pnd/376871

Last week I noted that the US is becoming an emerging market. By quick way of review:

1) Many of the most important institutions in the US now exhibit a level of corruption that is normal for banana republics. We now see these institutions doing everything from interfering in elections to arresting political opponents and more. The individuals who do this are not punished, if anything they given book deals and TV slots.

2) The US no longer has a clear rule of law. Those with the correct political leanings and connections can avoid jail time for serious crimes, even treason. Meanwhile, those on the other side of the political spectrum are given lengthy sentences for minor transgressions.

3) The US economy is no longer a manufacturing or industrial leader. Decades of outsourcing have gutted the middle class resulting in the kind of wealth disparities you usually see in emerging markets. American children dream of becoming influencers or social media personalities instead of business owners or innovators.

It’s enough to make you sick.

Indeed, the “US is an emerging market” theme was on full display last week when our Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, arguably the most important financial figure in our country, and the person in charge of managing the US dollar/financial ponzi scheme, groveled in front of China’s Vice Premiere He Lifeng during her visit to China.

Ms. Yellen bowed repeatedly to the Vice Premiere, groveling much as an emerging market financial official would kowtow to his or her counterpart from a more developed, superior nation upon which the former’s nation relied for aid, support and assistance.

Again, this is the thing of emerging markets. And the faPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Tucker Carlson Spotted In Moscow As Neocons Melt Down Over Potential Putin Interview

Russian media outlet "Mash" reports that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was seen at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow in recent days. On the social media platform X, there's enormous interest in Carlson's trip and speculation about whether he plans to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As of Sunday morning, "Tucker" was trending on X with over 307,000 posts.

The journalist previously relayed a story about trying to set up a Putin interview, until a Washington, DC source briefed him about how the NSA spied on him:

"The NSA broke into my signal account, which I didn't know they could do," he previously said.

"I got a call from somebody in Washington. This person said: 'Are you gonna come to Washington anytime soon?' Yeah. Actually, I'm gonna be up in a week, meet me Sunday morning."

"So I go, and this person's like: 'Are you planning a trip to go see Putin?' And I was like, 'how would you know that?' I haven't told anybody. I mean anybody. Not my brother. Not my wife, nobody."

"How would you know that? 'Because NSA pulled your text with this other person you were texting.'"

The US government spied on Tucker Carlson to stop him from interviewing Vladamir Putin.

"Uncensored on X. The US deep state and the Biden administration must be in panic mode because Putin (the most censored man in the West) will expose their propaganda and lies," X user Kim Dotcom wrote in a post.

Neocons are going berserk:

"Perhaps we need a total and complete shutdown of Tucker Carlson re-entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," Bill Kristol said.

I would love Putin to tell Americans why they nationalized their central banking system, and why they have banned all Soros-backed NGOs from their country.

I would also like Tucker to ask Putin about his pHd and thesis in global economics, and his perspective about the essential survival of a nation when it comes to manufacturing, refining, mining and extracting commodities, the need for energy, agriculture, trade and maintaining monetary solvency, reducing debt dependency and the importance of keeping the voting base dumb, but very happy, fit and well fed.

I would find such talk very interdasting, and likewise, so should the Five Eyes ;)

LOL! Looks like the West forgot that socialism, central control over the economy, doesn't actually work.

https://news.yahoo.com/west-humiliating-electric-car-climbdown-165738223.html

Maybe it's time to restore free market capitalism and consumer choice? Basic supply and demand? Consumers choose what they actually want or need and then industry is allowed to produce/manufacture the stuff? Remember that not-too-distantly-old concept? Well it actually worked.

Yes. China learned the same thing. In the late seventies they transitioned to a market economy and have seen exponential growth. What makes them different from western markets is that they have a tradition of preventing monopolies. The state has power over the corporate interests and not vice-versa.

We do have anti-trust laws to break up monopolies here in the USSA. PROBLEM: anti-trust laws are no longer enforced by the State as the State has seized total centralized control over everything including our entire economy (which is what communists traditionally have done, and to which has ruined nation after nation!)

If China manages to stay out of endless wars and continues to build up engineering, manufacturing and production of goods and services, China will be the next major superpower and world leader in innovation. China will have to resist a lot of pressure & war mongering the corrupted US and European governments will likely culminate. Sad to say it and it is unfortunate it would have to end this way for the Western world, our doom wasn't necessary. We could have stopped the wars, we could have stifled all the war mongering, we could have gone back to being a Constitutional Republic embracing the strength and success of free market capitalism and sound currency. We could have defended our own borders and refused to kill fellow citizens with toxic mRNA damaging clot shot 'vaccines'. We could have promoted real healthy policies and boosted incentives for organic agricultural production. We failed so other nations will naturally replace the potentials our government has so eagerly thrown away. Any nation who adopts the modern policies of the Western world is doomed for third world failure and balkanization at this point.

American Workers Are Being REPLACED With Illegal Foreign Slave Labor

One month ago we asked a simple question: at a time when the Biden admin is breathlessly taking credit for a quote-unquote "strong" job market, how is it not the biggest political talking point right now that since October 2019, native-born US workers have lost 1.4 million jobs; while over the same period foreign-born workers have gained 3 million jobs!?

How is this not the biggest political talking point right now: since October 2019, native-born US workers have lost 1.4 million jobs; over the same period foreign-born workers have gained 3 million jobs?

A few weeks later, when the grotesque and ridiculous January jobs report hit, we reran the analysis to find something even more jarring. Not only were all job gains in the past year entirely thanks to part-time workers, but native-born workers plunged by a another whopping 560 thousand, bringing the two-month total drop to just under 2 million. This meant that not only has all job creation in the past 4 years been exclusively for foreign-born workers, but there has been zero job-creation for native-born American workers since July 2018.

Well, little by little our observations went viral, and soon the fact that immigration has been the only source of growth in the US was picked up by everyone from unimportant people such as fake (or is it fax) economists such as Paul Krugman, all the way to the most important person in the world, (with all due respect to Dementia Joe), the Fed chair Jerome Powell, and even the Congressional Budget Office. And that required an immediate propaganda response.

https://twitter.com/zerohedge/status/1753468367397060737

So what does the propaganda blowback against this "biggest political talking point" look like?

Well, let's start with the NY Times' pet Goebbels, Paul Krugman, who just happens to be the world's most overrated economisPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Senate Neo-cons Side With Biden Regime, Neo-cons Want TOTAL OPEN BORDERS

This bill is insane. Does anyone think asylum officers need a pay raise?

Humiliating border patrol agents further.

Giving work permits away like candy.

Institutionalizing catch and release thru non detention.

Maintains parole standard of case by case basis which Mayorkas has blown wide open.

New word salad for asylum which won't change anything.

Puts far left DC district court in charge.

Here we go. Chamber of Commerce give aways.

Locking in future admins into the give aways.

Very obviously not a border bill at this point.

You will pay for lawyers of illegal aliens.

New standard of acceptable illegal immigrants set at 5k/day (around 2 million a year).

Payday for pro illegal immigration NGOs.

2024 Health Insurance Policies Change, Will No Longer Cover War Injuries!

2024 Health Insurance Policies have been Updated with NEW Exclusions & Expenses Not Covered: “Treatment of an injury or a sickness, which is due to war, declared or undeclared, riot, or insurrection.”

This is something that made me go, "uh Ohhhhh." Check your insurance policies.

This is under exclusions and expenses not covered on a 2024 Cigna health policy. Treatment of an injury or a sickness, which is due to war, declared or undeclared, riot, or insurrection.

This is not typical. In an insurance policy from United Healthcare from last year (2023) and the language typically reads like this:

What happens with my coverage under extraordinary circumstances? And it says in cases of disaster, epidemic, war, riot, insurrection, that they will do their best to provide the services you need.

Cigna and United aren't the only ones that have changed their language excluding war from their policies. Anthem has also done this, and it just makes you wonder why in the world would that be the case?

All these wars, insurrections, riots etc. are planned well in advance by the globalist deep state. Nothing is left to chance and nothing happens by accident.

These big corporations like insurance companies would have all been given the heads up that shit is about to hit the fan in 2024 so they are covering their asses by denying you coverage when you or your property gets hurt by these planned events by the deep state.

That's what I think is going on here. The wealthy and politically connected all talk to each other and attend meetings off the record. Davos is not the only place they talk at.

JIM STONE COMMENTS: Elon Musk cut 10 percent of Tesla's work force.

He is afraid the economy is going to tank. That's a no brainer. Because with so much money going into gasoline now it has to crash and it is intentional.

What will crash the economy no matter what? High gas prices, that's what.

And they know it. Let's say you were spending $200 a month on gas when it was $2.50 a gallon. You did not drive a whole lot except to work, which was 30 miles away and had a half hour of city driving. That's common in the US. So you were burning 3.5 gallons a day in your minivan if you were lucky. Even if you parked it on week ends, that would have cost about $200 per month. Lots of people have cars that eat more, some have cars that eat less, but $200 a month on gas at $2.50 per gallon was probably quite normal for most people . . . .

Then, suddenly, the gas goes up to $7 a gallon or more. Suddenly the gas costs $560 a month. That's $360.00 - a big screen, a lawn mower, a dining room table, or a desk or a nice cell phone or YOU NAME IT removed from the economic machine every single month, for everyone working. Extend that to two months, and once every two months a decent refrigerator is gone. Let's say you had a gas guzzler and you drove it a lot. Let's say your gas bill when gas was cheaper was $350 a month, which was not unusual. Suddenly your gas bill is $980 a month. What's that going to do? The math is not hard folks, Elon is right. If gas prices are not brought down, it is all going to crash.

Gas prices have skyrocketed to record highs, forcing some families to choose between filling their tank and putting food on the table. But for the oil execs whose stock holdings have soared, these are happy days — and some of them are cashing in their shares at unusually high rates: https://news.yahoo.com/oil-execs-cash-crazy-while-084839242.html
